This Geodude, apparently. I startled him a little bit. [And he feels bad about it, even if he couldn't help being startled himself. C'mon. Most things with giant buff arms also have legs.]

He's got some caretakers out looking for him. They've been looking for a while. He spooks really easily.

[He moves away from the porch, sitting cross-legged in this stranger's yard as he contemplates how to help the little guy.] I tried to get ahold of them but they must be on the other side of town by now. And I don't want to lose track of where he's at.

[Levi sighs, already regretting having asked. Now he feels obligated to help the stranger out. Warily he approached the perch and crouched down to try and get a better view of the Pokemon. He swore a bit when he finally spotted "Charlie".]

Can't you bait it out with food? I doubt going under the porch will help but make it run away more.

I don't have any poffins on me at the moment. I do have some cookies I made at the last town. I did some bakery work and they let me make some. [Information Levi does not need to know, but he's getting anyway. At least it means he's armed with a small stockpile of cookies.]

[He still isn't sure how good people food is for Pokemon but he's not risking giving it chocolate since that seems to be bad for everything. Soooo... okay, after rifling through a few packages in his backpack? He hands Levi some lemon cookies.]

I think these will be okay.

[He raises an eyebrow and hands the cookies back and begins rummaging around his own backpack. He pulls out some Pokemon food instead and hands it to Hunk.]

Use this. They're at least familiar with it and if it's already skittish you want something it does know.

Like I was telling him, I had a good recipe for poffins. But I ran out and need to make more.

[He's working with what he's got, alas.]

Thanks though, I appreciate it. [He scoots closer to the porch, but not so he's casting some overwhelming shadow (the pain of being a big guy trying to cajole a skittish thing) and leans an outstretched hand towards the gap underneath.]

I'm Hunk, by the way. [He mutters as an aside. Better to introduce himself right off the bat.]

... It's Levi Ackerman. Maybe you should just leave a trail and let it come to you?

[Not that Levi had much experience dealing with animals. At best he dealt with horses or birds with broken wings that children brought him. Dealing with Togepi was a huge learning process for him. Horses can be skittish so often luring them with sugar cubes would help.]

What are poffins?

[He does that. Just a little dotted line of snacks for the Geodude to follow it when it takes a notion. A pair of too-mad looking eyes peer out from the dark, even if it's not actually mad. Just a pokemon version of a resting grumpy expression.]

They're little baked snacks for pokemon. Some of the cafes had them.

[He keeps his voice quiet so he doesn't scare Charlie, not wanting to rais it again and alarm him.]

I learned to back them so I could feed mine whenever they wanted one. But uh... they don't last long [Hunk is a good cook, and in this case it's worked against him. At least Levi's lure idea seems to be working, though? As a little rocky hand stretches and reaches.]

Oh....I've been giving mine fruit as treats. I never thought about making something like that for them.

[Granted he was an okay cook. Most of the stuff involved quick meals that can be cooked over a fire. When did he have a luxury to eat a home cooked meal?

Out of habit he held his hand out in way telling Hunk not to move foreward to stay where he was. It was a habit he had when ordering his soldiers out on the field. He figured it was best to let the Pokemon come toward them before trying to make any sudden movements and scurry back under the porch. He honestly didn't want to be here all day either.]
