[Charlie rattles off a 'Geodude!' from under the porch and Hunk cannot tell if it's scared or angry or happy or anything. And it's so dark under there, he wouldn't be able to see its face. But, right! The berries.]

I think I might have some cookies in my bag. I'll look.

[He starts unloading items out of his backpack, most of them food-related, searching for cookies that don't contain chocolate. Socks and underwear get shoved into a small cooking pot. An inexplicable metal spork and chopstick set are piled off onto a campfire stove kit. He's tetrised in his possessions as carefully as he could so as to not damage the baked goods in there too.]

[Romelle is a little less intimidating (in stature, anyway) than Hunk so the Geodude does move closer to the underside of the porch it had managed to wriggle its rocky self into. He has been away from his caretakers for a while. And he is very hungry.]

I found some lemon drops...

[questioneverything]

That's it... come on.

[Romelle glances over with a confused look, still holding out one of the oran berries for the Geodude to take if he wants.]

What's a lemon drop?

It's a cookie. I don't think it would have anything that would hurt pokemon on it. I just don't have any snacks at the moment. Shay ate them all. She's sleeping it off in her ball right now.

[He gives her a small, roundish cookie, plain-looking except for a dab of powdered sugar on top.]

Between that and the berries maybe it'll work.

[And the Geodude is very hungry. It's already eating the berries, because it's been away from home all day.]

[Romelle turned the cookie over in her hand a bit, studying it, giving it a small sniff. Not that she didn't trust Hunk's cookie... Hunk was an excellent chef... but she was curious just in general about having one of these 'lemon drops'.]

Do you drop it as part of the cooking process?

[Because, why else would it be called a 'drop'?]

I never thought to ask. I mean, not ask the cookie [that should be obvious, Mr. Hunk sir] ask my mom. She taught me to make them.

[Which is maybe a conversation for another time. But most types of baking require dropping.]

Oh. Maybe you can teach me some time?

[Meanwhile, Charlie is having his fill of berries and things. Romelle ducks back down carefully as not to startle the Geodude, and gives a small smile.]
