[Pidge does not often leave the sanctity of her home. She has a routine that she likes to stick to and that keeps her pretty grounded in about the same parts of the world. Except today someone has told her that they saw Hunk, and that's all the reason she needs to break out of her cycle. It doesn't even take her long to make her way to the Moo Moo Farms, which is where she heard Hunk was last sighted, and once she's there it's only a matter of time before she spots that familiar friendly figure.]

Hunk!!

[That's about all the warning he gets before Pidge is basically launching herself at him for a hug. It's been ages since the last time she saw him, after all. And he's one of the few people in her life that Pidge actually wants hugs from. It feels long overdue.

Hopefully Hunk isn't caught too off guard. Pidge was the youngest of the group, so the passage of time is more obvious on her than it is on everyone else from their team. She's gotten a little taller, not more than a few inches, but she's not quite as gangly as she used to be either. Her hair has grown out past her shoulders and is currently pulled back into a ponytail on the side of her head. But at least her voice and her lop-sided grin are unmistakable.]

Ohmygosh it's been forever! When did you get here?!

I'm so sorry, I fell down a video editting hole for a bit.

[Pidge is very much the type to have a routine, certainly, and he'll eventually be glad to know she still revels in the same indoorsy things that she used to. But he is surprised, generally, to see her looking more like the girl that he teased her for dating so early on. (Before he discovered that 'she' wasn't a 'he', and that delighted girl was in the presence of a beloved brother.)]

[It's not a bad surprise at all. Just startling.]

Uhhh just- [He has to snap out of the bewilderment.] Just a few weeks ago! Not too long. I was doing a lot of walking and culinary research. [More than just eating, too. He was trying to learn new recipe, especially since he wasn't sure what ingredients would line up with Earth-normal ones.]

[He ends up extending his arms in an offer of a big hug.] Wow, this place made me miss out! You grew up on me. [Not that he was significantly older than her or anything? But the passage of time is definitely there.]

Weeks? And you didn't try sending out some kind of call in search of Voltron??

[There's no actual anger behind that accusation, at least. It's just Pidge having to jab at him for something, because she has no actual ammo to use against Hunk. However long it's been, he's still one of her favorite people and that kind of earns him a pass on most things.

Which is probably exceedingly obvious because she absolutely goes in for that hug. She even squeezes to the best of her ability before pulling back again, the grin on her face about as bright as it gets.]

I've been here for plural years, Hunk. [Because, you know. Time anomaly. It happens. Super normal Team Voltron stuff, actually.] It was bound to happen.

I asked someone early on in person if they heard of us, and when I mentioned 'Voltron' they spent about five minutes explaining how I must mean 'Voltorb' and I had to be one of 'those people' so I just figured I was in another alternate universe where Voltron didn't exist.

Honestly, didn't think that you guys would be here. And here for a really long time. I made Bebe some dog treats just a month ago and dropped them off.

[So he's after they 'won', sure. But also when they're busy building their own lives. Recently enough that Pidge having been here for years, to the point that she's probably even older than him, is kind of mind-blowing.]

Oh yeah, there's that. [She rolls her eyes a little, only because it's a familiar argument to her.] Ironically, the house Shiro bought for us here is on an island that's full of Voltorbs. I wouldn't be surprised if that somehow became how people know us.

[That little story has her smiling again, though. They're from roughly the same point in time, then. That makes things a bit easier.]

Your memories from home might be just a little bit ahead of mine. Last thing I remember was recovering in the Garrison hospital.

[So that's probably even more confusing! Hooray!]

[Hunk makes an uncertain sound.] You know, from everything I've heard here... I feel like saying more than "we won" would just stress people out. I should just leave it at that.

[Because they all seem so happy and comfortable in themselves. They look so free! And that's all Hunk ever wanted for them. Even if it makes him sad that they might not remember it one day, and even more sad that he didn't get to see a lot of these great moments. He missed out on so much of his friends' lives.]

I know it's not been that long for me, but I'm still glad you're around.

[pidge_out]

[Pidge raises an eyebrow. What else does he know?] ...Hunk, you realize you can't say stuff like that to me and not expect me to ask.

[She didn't get to be the paladin of the green lion just because she'd happened to be wearing green when they left earth. That inquisitive nature is very much alive and well.]
