Even when his rational brain knows that he won't shatter hands with a simple shake, sometimes he still defaults to caution when he's not thinking too hard on the matter.

"But I do have a companion who could work out well enough." And with that, a flash of light from one pokeball forms into a little Jigglypuff, who looks up with his large eyes and tweets a bit. Without even waiting a bit, he's already wobbling over to the two bone Pokemon.

...If he bounces, he might get carried off by the wind, so best not to do that right now.
