[He turns to address the Nidorino... then thinks better of it, given the intensity of the Poison-type's fight with the Miltank.

He'll just start reaching for his Espeon's ball instead.]

[The Wynaut is just cheering them on. Fight fight fight! Even the Togepi, from her place under Deuce's arm, is cheering on the bigger Pokemon.]

Uh, okay. Thanks, I guess...?

[Sir who are you?]

... Ah. My name's Bruno Bucciarati, by the way.

[He'll take his Espeon's ball off his belt and offer it to Deuce.]

Since Fragola there is going to be a while, I'll let you borrow Limone instead.

Fra--whoa!

[He only just now noticed the fight going on. Give him a moment, he is distracted.]

Uh, right. Deuce Spade, sir.

[Listen, distraction is fair. Fragola is a very fierce fighter.]

... Should we wait until those two are finished?

[He's never seen this okay.]

[After a while, the Nidorino emerges triumphant, and he calmly returns to Bucciarati's side, with Bucciarati himself kneeling to carefully pet the Poison-type's ears.]

[Okay, that was hecking cool! He is still not going to let the babies fight, though. They are babies.]

What kinda creature is he?

He's called a Nidorino. See this horn here? It secretes a poison that he uses in fights.

[He goes to touch it. Like an idiot.]

[And that is Bucciarati reaching out to stop him because please don't.]

Why don't we see about catching you a Pokémon now?

[deuceswild]

[Look. Look.]

Okay, sure. [. . .] I don't have any rope, though.

[nellacerniera]

[HE'S LOOKING, PLEASE DO NOT.]

... Well, the good news is you won't need any. We'll just need to find another Pokémon. [He indicates the ball in his hand.] Limone's a little grumpy, but he's more even-tempered than Fragola.

...okay. Maybe not another cow, though. I don't know where that one even came from.

There should be plenty of a variety around here, at least.

[It won't take them long to find something! Like a Hawlucha for instance!]

[What. But very cool looking! Deuce nods, eager to see how this goes.]

[And this is the point where he hands over Limone's ball properly.]

[Deuce looks at the ball but nods, trying to remember how to use the damn thing. He keeps his out of their balls--it's just easier.]

[With a soft huff of amusement, he just leans over to point out where the button is.]

Oh.

[And out pops the Espeon!]

Whoa! It's a cat?

[nellacerniera]

Close enough to one, I suppose. But let's not get distracted from the task at hand.

[... The Espeon has a good enough Withering Look (tm) to be a cat, at least.]

Want me to go over the moves Limone is capable of using?

Well, yes, but that's far from the only thing he's capable of...

[How did this guy even make it this far, he wonders...]

He has Bite, Sand Attack, Copycat, Quick Attack, Swift, and Confusion.

[The Wynaut is just amused because good question he's pretty sure it was luck and a refusal to back down.]

...he causes confusion, not that he is confused. That makes more sense.
