I am. And I like to think I am, still. But in this world, it seems, all who come here are made to look as Hyur do, though for what reason or how I cannot say.

All people? Even if they were not Hyur-shaped--?

[ She couldn't help but ask. It could be possible - and then, perhaps, people would understand a little more. She sounded honestly quite curious, before cutting herself off. ]

Yes, as far as I know, it happens to everyone-

I think...anyone can access this conversation, but if you prefer, I do know of a way to make such things private. It is a "setting" of sorts.

The only incidents of time being altered that Minfilia knows of was at the end of the Calamity, when the Warrior of Light... when Louisoix...

To them, your time here would be as the blink of an eye. And it could be possible that they find themselves joining us regardless.

...You are not incorrect in that respect. There is no threat that I can see of any Ascian machinations to sow chaos and influence the summoning of primals, and whatnot. But you ought to know that those who would call themselves Ascians from our star, are, in fact, present upon this one - bereft of power, I will add, but present nonetheless.

Her expression turns dark. Dangerous. ] Then this land is not safe. We cannot know if they are simply hiding their abilities and powers.

If that was the case, then why would no soul here have the powers they ought to? Why would I appear as a hyur, rather than as my true self? The Ascians are powerful, but I think there is a considerable argument to be made that they themselves are just as powerless as anyone else.

[prayreturn]

[He can understand why they did what they did, but that doesn't make any of it good or right.]

From what I am aware of, only two of the most powerful of the Ascians are here. Elidibus you have met, I believe, and while here he seems to keep to himself. The other, whom you may not know, is Emet-Selch. From my point in time, I have...had confrontations with him, let's say.

[ Her tone does not waver, but she does show recognition at the name Elidibus. ] The white-robed Ascian...

I've not heard of him, no. But I cannot say I would not expect conflict and pain. That is what Ascians do. [ She will keep her eyes out. (but will not connect solus to being emet-selch because shrugs) ] I will not ask for you to recount what happened. I... know how hard it can be for some to speak of such. [ see: thancred ] But know this: even if we did not meet again, I am here for you now. For the sake of lessening their threat and the sake of our shared friend.

Ah...

[He's. A little surprised by her response? He expected her to press him for questions, but...it's something of a relief she doesn't. She might not be ready to have an entire conversation detailing Heavensward to Endwalker all she would have missed.]

I...thank you, Minfilia. Truly, I would not stand here today without the aid of the Scions of the Seventh Dawn and the Warrior of Light, nor would many others be able to do so. In that respect, I owe your order much and more.

[Even if they were put in danger because of his whaling on WoL gacha summoning attempts, he cannot deny that their presence in the First was essential. Who knows if what remained of that little world would have lasted without everyone's help?]

While it seems in their nature to test their strength, I don't see much point in seeking out such challenges, and those with me seem fine enough to battle those who might cross our path with hostility. Likewise, I wouldn't...both of mine were given to me by people of this world, and I don't...I am not fond of the idea of capture. But if we were to meet a Pokemon who wanted to join us, and expressed as much, I would not deny them.

[ She grows quiet, before she just says it. ] I worry for those who are never let free. For those imprisoned... it is an utterly different situation, but my mind turns to Dalamud.

[gachatia]

I should like to think no Pokeball is left alone for so long. It would be cruel to do so, but that goes without saying.

[Whenever he finds out about where Pokemon go once people leave, he'll feel a lot more at ease, probably. Knowing that no companion goes uncared for. But it's still a sobering thought.]

You know I cannot help but be concerned. Especially with such smart friends.

Ah... I do not know if Krile spoke often of me. But before I took over the duty of ending the primal threat, I focused a little more on tribal welfare. But I had to prioritize...

But a kind world such as this must have people who seek those who've been abandoned.
