Somehow, he is not particularly surprised that Yuri would prefer to be the one in possession of more information before giving him a straight answer. Dimitri's clearest memories of him are from their school days; his recent times during the war made some of his memories a little more... difficult, at times.

Perhaps it would be better for him if he were to insist on an answer for himself first, before anything else. So that he could keep himself safe.

But Dimitri has his Pokemon that would keep him safe, has allies and friends and lovers who would be there to protect him if anything were to go awry. What does he have to truly fear, in the end, in this place where death does not have a proper grip on any of them?
