[Catalina has been in weirder situations than some crazy lady calling herself her "mom", but that doesn't make it any less weird. As she's pushed out of the house, clutching a red and white ball she doesn't know what to do with, she realizes two things:
1) This isn't the Treehouse
2) This isn't Corona??]
... Angry?
[She's either saying how she feels right now or is calling out to someone.]
Where... am I...
[She glances back at the ball in her hand - kind of a neat treasure, but she's not sure what to do with it?]

[The technology in this world kind of blows her mind. You just... talk into this weird little book thing and other people can talk back? And they can see you? Are people seeing her right now? She gives an awkward little wave in case they are.]
Um... hi.
I'm looking for my sister. Short, black hair tied up like this. [She pulls up her own hair to make it look more like her sister's. She nearly drops her Pokegear doing this but manages to catch it.]
She has marks on her face like mine. Has anyone seen her?
And... this fox has been following me around for a while.
[She points the Pokegear at a Zorua who is currently leaning against her legs.]

You don't recognize this area either... I have a question, did that woman in there call herself 'mom'?

Hi there. I'm afraid I haven't seen your sister. The fox, though, if it came out of a red-and-white ball, it's yours while you're here. These animals really are a lot of good company. I don't know what I'd do without mine.

He doesn't have a lot of experience with young children, mostly only interacting with any when he himself was a slightly older child... But if nothing else, he's figured out the Pokeball that seems to have her confused. In fact, the Flabebe he found inside hovers by his side now.]
Oh, um... Pardon me, I don't mean to be rude, but - Well, I am Ignatz Victor. [He bows a little at the waist.] And if I'm correct, you should find a creature in that ball, like this one.
[He gestures with one hand toward Flabebe, who gives a happy call and twirls in mid-air.]
Lupa | Digital Devil Saga
The sound of a door slam is followed by a very tall man, with long very, very red braids and strange gray armor, stumbling forward to land with a hard thump. He's breathing hard and his eyes, as red as his hair, are wide and staring.
That lasts for a few moments before he starts looking around him, confused and wondering. "What is this place?"
Sprout Tower
Lupa is just currently staring at the shaking pillar in the center of the bottom floor of Sprout Tower with wonder. One of the monks is nearby, looking on in a kind of fond bemusement.
When Lupa hears or sees someone approaching he turns and offers a smile. A small one, like he's still figuring smiles out, but all the more genuine for it. "A giant Bellsprout that helps the people support their building. A world built around working together with plants, and creatures and humans. This world is wonderful. I cannot believe it, yet I'm here."
Network: video
[The video starts with a wide, slightly crooked shot of a very red-haired man with a mostly bare chest, many necklaces of bronze pieces strung on red string, and white tattoos on his cheeks. Then it steadies and zooms in on his face. His eyes are the same completely unnatural red as his hair.]
Wolves, report in.
[He doesn't seem very hopeful for a response, and continues after a short pause.]
I don't know who will be reached by this communication device, but whoever hears may have answers to my questions.
I know this isn't the Junkyard; there is a blue sky, plants, and animals. I know this cannot be Nirvana, because Nirvana was a lie. I don't feel Hunger, nor do the creatures here appear to, yet they also appear to be able to use Mantra.
I don't understand what this place is, or how I've come to be here. I remember de--
[At this point a Houndour jumps up to forcibly cuddle and adorn his face with puppy kisses, and the video cuts off with a muffled 'Cerberus--']

Hi there. This is a place where a lot of us are being brought to live and explore. Some of us go home sooner or later, but for now we're stuck here. Some of the ones you know might be here too, or they might show up later.

Leone Abbacchio | Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind
[So a lot of bullshit has happened in what feels like way too short a time, and that is the only reason that crazy lady was able to push Abbacchio out the door and into the wider New Bark Town and that is the story he will give anyone who happened to see that.
He stands there, utterly baffled for all of two seconds before a he is "attacked" by a floating teacup clinking itself against his head. Abbacchio bats it away and turns to find the Stand user behind that "attack" only to see a little old lady with weird pink cats around trying to get his attention.
That? That is a trap and Abbacchio is not having it. He turns the other way and goes straight for the ferry he sees. While the Sinistea clinks itself against his head and he continues to smack it away.
(She's having fun!)
Route 32
[If you happen to be in the area, you might notice a very tall, very moody young man looking around almost desperately for something, patting his pockets down and checking in his bag.]
Where the hell did it go?!
[You might also notice a random wild Espurr running away as fast as its little legs will carry it from the young man, carrying a medallion about as big as it is with the letter "A" on it. And a Sinistea just watching this from her spot on a nearby log.]
Network
[If you know Abbacchio, you can probably tell he's both annoyed and a little worried. If you don't, he just looks pissed.]
How the fuck am I supposed to feed a sentient teacup? She hasn't eaten since I found her.
[And that is Concerning.]
Route 32
And then it tries to take the medallion from the Espurr.
So that's a scuffle that Abbacchio might be overhearing shortly.]

Ignatz Victor | Fire Emblem: Three Houses
Violet City
[Ignatz stares up at Sprout Tower. His Flabebe is hovering nearby, occasionally straying away. She seems antsy, but Ignatz doesn't quite notice. This building positively dwarves him, but he finds some level of comfort in that, or perhaps a better word would be inspiration. He believes the legend that this tower is built around a massive Pokemon, which only adds to his awe. If you walk close by, he'll try to signal for your attention to ask a question.]
Tell me, what do you feel when you look at the tower?
[Alternatively, it may be Faith the Flabebe who approaches you, floating over with her orange flower. Through distressed cries and rapid gestures, she tries to communicate that she fears her nearby trainer has somehow become stuck in place!]
National Park
[Word of the National Park and it's beautiful scenery has reached Ignatz, and he was looking forward to spending some time painting what he could see. Unfortunately, he's arrived on a Thursday, and misunderstandings have lead to him signed up for the bug catching contest. You may be approached by the flustered young man at the start of the competition.]
Excuse me! I don't think I understand what we're meant to do here. Do you know?
[Alternatively, maybe you'll run into Ignatz during the contest. Unfortunately he's come across a particularly ornery Vespiquen. And while Justice the Houndour wasn't completely overwhelmed by her, the trio of Combee that soon swoop in to help their queen create a problem. Ignatz calls out to those brave enough to come near.]
Please, my Pokemon and I could use some assistance!
Violet City - I am so sorry for the nonsense ignatz might get dragged into (tag team tags incoming)
[He isn't thinking too hard when someone suddenly speaks to him, on the way from that business stop, and so his words are automatic.]
I find a kind of wonder, with the construction of such a thing, and yet some faint aggravation from the completely wrong opinion of someone dearly beloved who is nonetheless quite incorrect on its origins and yet persists to this day with such nonsense.
[Dimitri says this completely calmly, with a straight face, while Felix is right next to him. Also sort of next to him is Gwin the Altaria, who is trying to use his long snake-like neck to poke about in Felix's pockets for grapes.]
[Dimitri doesn't mind either of those facts much, however, because he finally realizes who he's talking to in the midst of his own words as he looks towards-]

Olette | Kingdom Hearts
[ Well, this certainly tops the list of Weird Things Olette has observed or been subjected too, which is rather distressing considering how long that list has been getting lately. Still she doesn't let a new world overwhelm her too much, and after quietly freaking out for a moment, she will buckle down and start learning about whats going on.
Which is why she can be found sitting on the ground nearby, her Pokegear aimed at the Happiny in front of her, the pokemon bouncing lightly on it's feet happily as the Pokegear chimes off the information to her. She glances up to the sound of footsteps and offers anyone approaching a small, slightly bewildered smile. ]
Hello! I'm not in your way, am I?
[Route 29]
[ All right. Pokemon. Her Pokegear identifies her as a trainer. So that's what she's attempting to do? Except she's somehow managed to find the one wild pokemon that doesn't want to fight. It doesn't help her Happiny doesn't seem to be interested in fighting either; it's running in small circles around the rather bored looking Skwovet and wiggling it's arms happily.
Olette is crouched nearby, elbow on her knees and her chin in her hand, a wide smile on her face as she watches the antics. ]
I don't think we're doing this right... "Skwo..." "Piny!"
[Network]
Oh this works like a phone and camera! Hello, I'm sorry to interrupt, but I have a few questions! "Happiny! Piny!" Has anyone met anyone named Hayner or Pence? They're fifteen and look... well...
[ On camera the teen herself tries to mimic how her friends would look, using her hands for hair. ]
Hayners hair is blonde and wiggles back like this [ palms to the side of her head, her fingers up and back a bit ] and Pences hair is black and sticks up because it's held together with a headband! [ And she will do her best to mimic the way Pences hair goes up and splays out over the headband. Her Happiny is doing it's utmost best to mimic her. ] If you guys are here and seeing this, hey! Come get me, I'm in Cherrygrove! "Pi!"
Also mm... does anyone know what this little one is asking for?
[ She lifts the Happiny up, the blobby pink pokemon wiggling it's arms joyfully at being picked up, hugging the girls face exuberantly, which makes her smile cheerfully in return. ]
She searches around like she's looking for something, and has made motions to me like she's asking for something, but I don't think I understand her yet! I'm not entirely sure what she wants. Oh! And I'm Olette, it's a pleasure to meet you all!
Network
But that was... what? A decade ago, maybe? Riku folds his arms, thoughtful.]
Think one of your friends might've been here, but it was a long time ago. Doubt most of the others here would remember. Only reason I do is because I've been here from the start.
Still, you never know. That's the thing about this world. It's full of surprises. You could be on your own one minute, then end up having to backtrack because Arceus drops 'em all the way back at New Bark.

Lan Bo | The Falling Merman
Lan Bo was probably even more confused than when he arrived. He's not sure where home is, where he, and of all the explanation he understood was something of poke mans. He's not generally one to ask for clarity, so here he is, outside, with his new pokegear, looking around at people as he sits from a fountain to stay nice and hydrated. He figures he should do what he's told at some point. So he'll wait for a man to come close enough to him, reach out, and poke them. That's how this works, right?
Or you might find him instead trying to munch on his pokegear. You might want to stop him before he actually succeeds. These taste weird, but he's had weirder.
..::|| Route 29 ||::..
Okay, so someone took a lot of time and effort to explain how this actually works to Lan Bo (doesn't mean he's not still a little confused, though. Why do you throw balls at animals?) And he has to resist the temptation to eat his pokegear again. Look, food is food. It doesn't matter what you think is edible. All that matters is that it can go into Lan Bo's stomach, and it doesn't hurt him.
He had somehow ended up picking a Clamperl for his starter, not that he really knows what to do with it. Occasionally he'll stare at it's ball. How does he make it come out? Or even what's the point? A lot of this is super weird.
Can he go home, now?But if the goal is to throw these metal balls at animals he's never seen before, what else should he do?
As he goes down the road trying to just make sense of what's actually going on, an interesting-looking Rookidee ends up nearby.
That looks strange, and he's never seen it before. That's what the balls are for, right? Right. He throws the ball as hard as he can at the Rookidee! And the ball tries to catch it, wiggling a bit, only for the Rookidee to easily break back out again. Now the Rookidee is pissed, but... so is Lan Bo. This is not what he was promised! He pouts, pushing his cheeks out like a child. The Rookidee attacks him, and Lan Bo tries to use his lightning.
But like a Magikarp, nothing happened.
He resorts quickly to trying to swat the Rookidee away with his tail. Excuse you, bird, you are not allowed to pick a fight with him.

Goro Akechi || Persona 5 Royal
Reports of my death were greatly exaggerated
At the very least, part of the 'Team Rocket' uniform included an unremarkable black turtleneck, which was preferable both to the overshirt he'd been oh-so-generously given- and the suit he'd arrived in, now resting at the bottom of his bag along with the Black Mask and everything else he'd come here with.
So much of it useless, now. His pistol, his sword, both gone. Hereward would not answer his call. Neither, for that matter, would Robin Hood, nor even Loki. His phone had no service, and the MetaNav app was gone.
The last bit- that was the only thing keeping him sane, that Maruki had not somehow won. None of... this was in keeping with the Metaverse, nor that twisted reality the counselor had created. Which meant... Goro Akechi was, somehow, alive. This didn't bring him any particular joy; he'd fully expected to simply... stop, once the Palace fell. Instead, he found himself... here. Goldenrod City, wherever the hell that was. With... absolutely no fucking clue what he was going to do next. He had orders, and that thought made his skin crawl, made him want to rip the sneering man who'd dared to call himself his superior limb from limb- but that was nothing he wasn't used to. He had no direction, nothing to do, nothing to drive him forward, when as long as he could remember he'd had only the objective, only Shido, only Joker, only Maruki...
And now he was in a secondhand clothing shop, aimlessly trying to find something to wear that wasn't the costume of a serial killer or some kind of half-assed wannabe yakuza trash-
"Ow- stop." Rookidee had pecked him- Ah, yes. The pokémon. The other little detail that didn't add up. This one was glaring at him, and when he turned to his shoulder to glare back, the little bird jerked her head in the direction of- ah. Someone was looking at him. "What."

Draco Malfoy | Harry Potter
Well this certainly was a quaint little town. He didn't quite understand the need for the oboxious music that was constantly playing in the background. If one could call that music. As far as Draco could find he wasn't in any of the towns near Hogwarts or where he lived. None of this was familiar. He didn't know how he landed here. He crossed his arms in annoyance.
He doubted his father could do anything about this either. Which was a first. This also probably meant the Malfoy name had no power here either. Nor did he know how to reach out to his family or friends. This was new territory for him. He didn't like it.
He supposed it was time to figure out what was going on and how he landed here. If someone could provide him information.
Network Post:

Come on, Snjókorn, it isn't that bad.

the trainer school seems good enough a place as any to start. she can be found studying after a course there, humming along to the ever-present music she's already gotten used to. if not there, she'll be offering to work in the vineyards when she can, eager to make a little more money in her free time.

This world really wasn't much different from what Zack knew of his own, albeit a lot more lively and brighter. Pokemon were a very weird difference but they were cute enough that he just accepted them as is. The lack of his Mako strength and enhanced senses were still something he wasn't used to yet.
Each small village he had encountered almost seemed dreamlike to him, they were almost picturesque. It wasn't until he had visited the city of Goldenrod that he had a strange rush of nostalgia for his past life and friends. Being in a city made him feel whole again and with his bidoof in his arms and his mimikyu on his shoulder he went exploring.

Seto Kaiba | Yu-Gi-Oh
big mouth, little seahorse (action, route 30)
[ The road of battle to fame and glory...chasing it as a duelist hadn't been nearly this tough. Kaiba is trudging along in his soccer uniform searching the far reaches of the meadow for new team members, but they've hit a rough patch. He ducks under a tree with his exhausted Horsea tucked in his arm, gently spraying a potion. ]
We need to shore up our weaknesses and fill out the team! If you can confuse a Pokémon in a bubble fog, we'll catch it. Failure's not an option---but you can't carry me alone. We need allies.
[ The Horsea lets out a tired bubbly sigh. He feeds her another berry...just as the grass rustles next to him. He digs in his bag for a tent stake and holds it out threateningly. ]
Not another step, or I swear you'll regret it.
[ Human or Pokémon, he's not letting anyone threaten them today....regardless of how threatening they actually are. Sorry. ]
fastball special (network video)
[ Kaiba looks like he hasn't seen civilization for a few days. He's out in the weeds again with a somewhat larger little team surrounding him. He's tossing various rocks and sticks above his team's head as hard as he can, urging his Pokémon to hit the moving targets. They're doing well, but...
He turns the view away from the Pokémon and toward himself. He hates asking for help, and that's reflected in his stony expression. But entering the gym unprepared and losing would be even more humiliating. ]
Does anyone have suggestions for faster object launches? Cannons, arrows, Pokémon who can throw harder than I can? I'm not challenging the gym until we master target practice, and I can't throw any faster.
Network
Target practice? Which gym are you challenging?
[He's wracking his mind, but he can't come up with a solid reason why throwing things would be a required skill for challenging a Pokemon gym. Well, maybe to stop certain attacks like rocks being thrown, perhaps?]

Yuri Leclerc {FE3H/FEW3H}
Ecruteak City
Things were weird in this strange new world but something that seemed universal was Art. When Yuri had first heard of Ecruteak City he knew he had to visit. He wasn't disappointed as he and Aria his little pink Spritzee wandered the markets at dusk. It was picturesque and something he wished to maybe one day show his mother. Taking his 'phone' out he took some blurry pictures. Technology was strange and he still wasn't used to any of it but being who he was he made due and adapted as best he could. He was pretty happy he had figured out 'selfies' on his own.
"Pree pree!" Aria chirped on his shoulder, directing him towards a food stand of treats he semi recognized. He walked over to the stall handing over some currency in exchange for what he assumed was a crepe with different fruits and whipped cream. The pair made their way exploring as they shared the delicious sweet treat. Aria had some whipped cream on her beak which Yuri couldn't help but chuckle at before wiping it off. "We will have to come back for more sometime. This is simply delicious."

[A slightly blurry photo of Yuri with his Spritzee, Aria on his shoulder. Both of them are wearing matching black bows, Yuri has his long violet hair in a side low ponytail with the bow and is winking. His Spritzee is wearing it like a bow tie and is mimicking her trainers expression]

ecruteak
Still, sometimes, there are things that cannot be helped, and one of those is that Ecruteak is one of the best places where one can go get clothing traditional to this land and its neighbor. At least, in the Johto area, although Dimitri cannot speak for Kanto. And so he is here, hoping to get something nice for his family. Christmas may be a long ways away, but these things take a long time to prepare! Especially for the number.
So he's here with Selkie, who helps best with such matters
and also cheats using her powers to get proper measurements without anyone knowing, when he decides to make a brief detour. It would be good to get some food, after all, even if he cannot truly enjoy it...In his head, he thinks he will simply get whichever catches his attention first. It doesn't really matter in the end. And yet, what actually catches his attention isn't food or a restaurant or a stall, but instead some very familiar purple hair.
He dares not make any assumptions, not immediately, but instead drifts just a little bit closer as Selkie the Indeedee trails behind him patiently. "...Yuri?"

Ecruteak City

mobius | mcu
If it seems like the guy at the beach--pants rolled up, feet dipped in the water--is talking to himself, don't worry, he's not. But it isn't immediately apparent that he's got a Pokemon on him. At least, not until he's sharing his bento. Then Klefki makes their appearance, happy to munch on some rice.
Mobius points out toward the water when someone on a jetski goes by. "Like that one there! That's the kind of life I want. I'll have to earn more money to rent one, though..." He laughs. "Like a normal person living in normal spacetime. Wild."
Klefki makes some quiet, contented sounds, but starts up and shakes its keys at approach. Mobius pats the little thing, which then decides to bury itself in a pocket. He gives a little wave. "Hey. Don't mind the sentient floating keys; they're a little shy."
Sprout Tower
It's a fascinating place with an interesting history, if he could only pry the real history and the fantastical 'it was definitely a giant Bellsprout!' story apart. Seems some of the monks would prefer a battle before saying more, which is fine, if a little oddly violent, he thinks. "Can we just settle our differences with a game, maybe?" Apparently not. Well, he's not the one in the fight, and so long as his buddies are up for it...
It's the Pokemon that are even more interesting, however. That they're allowed to live here at all, that there's a penchant for ghosts in spite of--because of?--the history here. (And not a single oversized Bellsprout, of course.) He seems quiet and cautious when not in a battle. Watch out, though...for the absolutely massive form...of a ghostly anchor, looming menacingly, right behind him...!
Ruins of Alph
You best believe he's enjoying the hell out of this place. The mystery! The history! Puzzles! And--weird shit? Klefki, already an anxious sort, clatters in alarm at what seems to be nothing practically every few minutes. Dhelmise makes itself scarce, and not even in the 'loom menacingly behind him' way. And he's pretty sure they're being watched. Given wild Pokemon...that shouldn't be unsettling. And yet.
"Come on out, if you're there," he says calmly toward an overgrowth of vines. "Promise I won't bite. Won't even fight you if you don't want."
Nothing happens. But he's...relatively sure something's just hiding. Has to be it.
He pats Nosepass on the noggin. "Could be shy. Let's not stare and be rude about it. C'mon, we'll take some etchings from that ruin over there."
