Some animals are just less patient than others. Or maybe he doesn't want to be held. Have you tried just walking with him?

No worries, I'm not exactly fast myself at times.

I was never an animal person. We had two big dogs at home that were my fathers. But I never really dealt with them. And some obnoxious peacocks that made alot of noise.

I suppose I can see how just walking will go. Maybe picking it up was too soon.

I can't imagine that peacocks would make for very cuddly pets.

Have you ever tried a pigmy puff? They're not here. But there are some very small Pokémon that might fit the bill.

No, they aren't. They're very noisy birds. My mother liked them though.

You really like to talk about the pigmy puffs. You bring them up a lot.

[He couldn't help but smirk a bit. While they didn't talk much, in the conversations he heard or they did have they were mentioned quit a bit.]

What Pokemon do you have?

[She gave one of her wispy smiles in return.]

They're cuddly and soft, quite comforting, too, with how they coo at you. What's not to like about them?

[She adjusted her position, and a tiny pink creature with brown horns, a curl on its head and a tiny bun-like tail climbed up to give her a hug. It smiled, spouting off a "Cleffa!", and she laughed softly in return.]

This is called a Cleffa according to the strange device we were given. This one's quite cuddly and loves hugs. Apparently, some of the locals here believe they come from the stars. And, well, she does love looking at the night sky.

[Draco couldn't help but make a face at her statement. That diffently wasn't what he would want. He wanted something that was independant but could be reliable. While this Pokemone was independant he wasn't sure if he could trust it.]

It's very pink.

Yes. She is. But, she's very sweet.

[She did notice that grimace, though, in response to the 'cuddly' description.]

What would you like to have in a Pokémon partner for yourself?

I honestly really don't know. Maybe something like a dog?

[She poked at her Gear for a moment, struggling a bit, but eventually getting to the PokeDex part.]

Some are cuddly, some are grumpy, some are good companions and working dogs... some get scared easily or are very aggressive.
