Goro Akechi || Persona 5 Royal
Reports of my death were greatly exaggerated
At the very least, part of the 'Team Rocket' uniform included an unremarkable black turtleneck, which was preferable both to the overshirt he'd been oh-so-generously given- and the suit he'd arrived in, now resting at the bottom of his bag along with the Black Mask and everything else he'd come here with.
So much of it useless, now. His pistol, his sword, both gone. Hereward would not answer his call. Neither, for that matter, would Robin Hood, nor even Loki. His phone had no service, and the MetaNav app was gone.
The last bit- that was the only thing keeping him sane, that Maruki had not somehow won. None of... this was in keeping with the Metaverse, nor that twisted reality the counselor had created. Which meant... Goro Akechi was, somehow, alive. This didn't bring him any particular joy; he'd fully expected to simply... stop, once the Palace fell. Instead, he found himself... here. Goldenrod City, wherever the hell that was. With... absolutely no fucking clue what he was going to do next. He had orders, and that thought made his skin crawl, made him want to rip the sneering man who'd dared to call himself his superior limb from limb- but that was nothing he wasn't used to. He had no direction, nothing to do, nothing to drive him forward, when as long as he could remember he'd had only the objective, only Shido, only Joker, only Maruki...
And now he was in a secondhand clothing shop, aimlessly trying to find something to wear that wasn't the costume of a serial killer or some kind of half-assed wannabe yakuza trash-
"Ow- stop." Rookidee had pecked him- Ah, yes. The pokémon. The other little detail that didn't add up. This one was glaring at him, and when he turned to his shoulder to glare back, the little bird jerked her head in the direction of- ah. Someone was looking at him. "What."
Re: Goro Akechi || Persona 5 Royal
[Radley is there too, idly checking out what kind of leather jackets they have in this world.]
Your Rookidee caught my attention, actually! I have one too.
Hello, friend!
Which was putting it mildly, honestly, but... Actually, there was something the stranger could potentially help with. "I've been in here and I've just realized I have no real sense of the purchasing power of the money here. I look at these prices, and I can't tell if this is a deal, or if I'm being ripped off. Would you be willing to lend a hand?"
Hi!
[Radley studied the prices.]
Most of these prices are pretty good. I've found some shady shops now and then, but this one seems reputable.

"So are you from 'out of town' as well, then, or are you a native? Nobody's made it very clear, but I can already tell I'm not the only one."
no subject
Yeah, I'm another out of towner. I'm not sure how many of us there are altogether. I've been here about four months.

Oh, I do. I just try not to show it in public. And there are good things about this place. I love my Pokemon.
[Four Eevees, a Skitty, and the Rookidee trot over to him. He starts petting them.]
I wish they could come back with me, but that isn't ever done that I know of.
[His Rookidee greets the other one, as does one of the Eevees. The others also look friendly.]

The little fox pokemon all but hiding behind his legs looked considerably less keen on new people, however.
Not that Akechi knew what the hell he was doing when it came to animals- but his superior had insisted that he needed them, that he'd be dead meat if he went out without them. Having seen the pair in a fight and with no Persona to aid him, he'd been forced to agree. It seemed... pointlessly cruel to keep them in the little metal balls he'd been given, though.

[Evie the Eevee keeps chirping, hoping to put them at ease and be friends. Evan the Eevee licks her head. Not everyone will be comfortable with it, he tries to tell her. Or want it in general.]

"My apologies. Here I've been asking so many questions and I haven't even asked your name." He bowed slightly. "Akechi Goro. Yourself?"
no subject
[He smiles and pets his Pokemon. Evie finally settles down and rubs his leg.]
I still haven't seen a lot of this world yet, but I decided that in an unfamiliar place I'd like to be in the hub of things. I live here now, and when my Rookidee gets bigger, maybe I'll travel a bit on her.
no subject
"I'm sorry, I must have misheard. How big do they get?" Large enough for a human to ride in flight?!

[Radley types on his Gear and then shows the pictures of the other forms.]
It'll be useful, but I'll feel bad she won't be able to be in the house anymore.

[He winces.]
Maybe get a place to live with fruit trees and bushes or something? My property has some of that. I was getting it for my restaurant, but it'll be useful for Pokemon food too.
