She referred to herself as 'Mom' to me as well, just a short while ago. I do not remember having a mother.

[He looks down at the pokeball in his hand for another moment longer.]

That is what it appears to be. I hadn't pressed it because I am unsure of what this device will do.

[Lupa takes a brief breath, carefully moves back, just in case it might be a grenade or something and presses the button! There's a flash of light! A bark! And the cutest Houndour puppy turns in Super Excited (™) circles, and then proceeds to try to chew on Lupa's boot.

Lupa is just completely startled and frozen in bewilderment, staring down at the puppy. Help.]
