Everything was foreign and yet not too different from his time back home. It was so similar that sometimes he thought he'd recognized some of the other travelers. Yuri knew he was sticking out like a sore thumb with his cape and armor but honestly he hadn't found any of this new fashion that he particularly was drawn to. If he did see anyone hew knew they would have no trouble recognizing him however.

Out of the corner of his eye he saw a familiar bit of Ashen hair and the voice that followed confirmed his suspicions. He'd recognize that voice anywhere.

"Well if it isn't Ashe. You seem rather surprised. Is it truly a shock to see me or am I just too charming?"

Yuri smirked as he hated over to join Ashe, instantly admiring the pokemon with him. "Well aren't they cute, fitting for you." His own Spritzee let out a squeak in annoyance. "Oh hush you're still cuter"

Ashe has been living here for some time now that he had a small wardrobe of casual clothes and a few fancier ones whenever there were events. He grabbed one of his hoodies along with some pants and gym shoes. Once he tried on a pair he ended up getting about three more for his closet. But he could recognize Yuri easily even if he wasn't wearing his armor.

"I didn't think anyone else from back home would be here." Ashe smiled as he handed Piplup a strawberry. "Thank you! I actually got the ghost one from Lysithea when she was here, but they're all great."

Ky, his Piplup, walked up to Yuri with his strawberry in his flippers. He looked at Yuri then at Spritzee then back at Ashe. Ashe shook his head. "Ky, please, he's another friend from back home. My friend here is very protective of me. Oh your pokemon is cute too. One sec," He reached inside his bag to grab some treats for a flying pokemon. He held out the bag towards Yuri. "I've been making my own treats that my pokemon love. You can give some to your pokemon too."

Ky narrowed his eyes as he started eating his strawberry. Ashe shook his head with a small sigh. "You have your own container of treats back home you can share. So have you been here long?"

The outfit that Ashe had on had him almost blending into the others who lived in this world but those freckles and his bright green eyes were something Yuri would never have a hard time finding. He still wasn't sure if he liked what Ashe had on or if he was missing the way the archery uniform had fit him.

"So there have been others from our world here. I thought it was strange for me to be the only one here. I'm happy to see you Ashe. I take it you've been here long? He wasn't exactly sure how this world worked but he hadn't seen Ashe too long before arriving in this world. Perhaps this wasn't the Ashe he knew exactly. If that was the case he'd have to keep him at arms length.

"I don't think your Pokemon likes me." He raised an eyebrow at the little blue Penguin and instead directed his attention to Ashe, taking the bag of treats. He opened it and took one in his hand for Aria to eat. She sniffed the treat before pecking at it, a joyful sound leaving her. "Well she likes it. Are you selling these? I think we could market these easily, my friend." He took another out of the back and sniffed it, it didn't really smell like much to him. Still this was a good marketing opportunity. Perhaps this Ashe could be useful.

Yuri pocketed the bag for later and instead focused on what was left of his own treat, plopping a strawberry in his own mouth. "Not long, I'd say a week or so. It's...pleasant."

Ashe wondered if this Yuri was from the same timeline. Many of the Blue Lions came from the same timeline where Dimitri was set to become king, but there were Claude and Lorenz who he's sure came from a different timeline along with their professor. He heard about Hubert coming over too which was another thing to consider. Well, he would figure all of that out later. He was happy to see Yuri again.

Ashe shook his head at Ky. "Don't worry about him. He does that to everyone. Ky I told you he's a friend."

Ky looked at Yuri some more before going back to enjoy his treat. Ashe gave a strawberry to Chandelure before he turned back to Yuri. "I'm glad she does! You know I I started making them one day after Ky was picking over the treats we had in the house. I gave them to the other pokemon and they loved it. I never thought about selling them before. Hmm, I'll think about it."

Ashe forgot that he had time to make more treats maybe it was something he could do. It would help the pokemon and he could support the house too. As usual Yuri had some good advice.

"Yeah I've been here for about a year now I think. Time moves much differently here than back home. Yeah Dimitri, Sylvain, Felix, Dedue, Annette, Claude, Lorenz, and Hubert are here. We had Lysithea, but she returned home. It's much different being here and not having to worry about the list of things I had to back home."

"Well if you need someone to help you sell merchandise, you know who to find. I might not know this world all too well but when has that ever stopped me?" Aria now full, left Yuri's shoulder perch and went down to Ky's level. The tiny Spritzee looking to play.

Lavender eyes watched on as Ashe interacted with his Pokemon. He looked so content here. Yuri was honestly a little jealous how Ashe could be so happy in a world not their own, though he guessed the year long experience did help. It did seem he was the only one from Abyss here, and neither was anyone from the Church of Seiros. That was indeed useful information. Yuri was going to have to stick around Ashe a little more to see what other information he could get out of him. Regardless he couldn't help how much brighter his smile was here. He was glad that Ashe didn't have to endanger himself as a knight anymore. This was good for him. He couldn't help but smile himself.

"I'm not surprised you lions stuck together. I'd be more shocked if you were abandoned by your pack."He started walking, knowing Ashe would follow him. "What other wild tales do you have for me, Ashe? I'm half expecting you to tell me you have a girlfriend now too." He chuckled and took a bit out of the crepe itself, getting a smidge of cream on his lips.

"I know that I can always count on you for help." Now that Yuri introduced the idea to him Ashe was thinking about the different kind of treats he could make. There could be a different kind for each type of pokemon then maybe some treats for their trainers too. It was an option that helped him settle his current feeling of indecisiveness when it came to what he wanted to do in this world. Piplup finished his treat and gave an excited chirp to the tiny Spritzee. A new friend!

Ashe gave him a fond smile before he took a bite out of his crepe. It was quite the shock when he first arrived to this world. Everything was so quiet and calm he thought he died, until the lady at the house helped him out. Then getting to know his little buddy has been a lot of fun. His piplup could be quite the firecracker by standing up to everyone that crossed his path, yet playing with certain people. How could he forget the technology? There was the gear where he could talk to people much faster than the letters back home. He could take pictures and save them too. Then there was the advancement in the kitchen and the bookstores that had so many books that wasn't hidden or censored. He couldn't forget about the different types of restaurants that he could easily get to. While he missed home he had to admit that things were really good in this world. After all the fighting that they did it was nice to have a break.

"I did manage to find everyone through Dimitri. He's doing much better here. He introduced me to Grant and Chip they're both really good people too. Hmm, wild tales oh I know! We were invited to a masquerade and got these really cool rooms then we were attacked by Team Rocket. I think that's the evil corporation here, but so many things happened during prom. Last prom we had I got to go on this thing called an airship! They had a whole beach in one of the places then a library in another spot it was amazing. Oh, um, I did have a girlfriend for a bit! Me and Lysithea were together before she went back home." Ashe blushed when he thought back to the time they spent together.

Aria happily chirped back to the Piplup before flying around her owners legs, making sure not to trip him before hiding behind Ashe. She wanted to play hide and seek with the fellow bird pokemon.

Yuri tried to follow along with that Ashe was telling him but honestly almost none of it made sense to him. Team Rocket and 'Prom' were things he didn't really know and he'd have to figure out what those were later. When Ashe mentioned dating Lysithea however he started to choke and had to lean on his knees to catch his break. "You're joking. You can't mean to tell me that you Ashe, had a lover." He looked for any sign that Ashe might be messing with him but the blush on that freckled face said otherwise. He could take all the strangeness of the world around him but Ashe with a lover was too much for him.

"I change my mind. I don't think I want to hear anymore wild tales." With a huff, yuri turned around to toss out what was left of his dessert. He wasn't very hungry anymore.

Ashe laughed as he stopped walking to let Aira hide behind him. Piplup chirped happily as he ran behind Ashe's legs to catch her. He wanted to watch their game a little more when Yuri's reaction took his attention away.

"Yuri, are you okay?" Ashe placed his hand on Yuri's back and watched to see if choked on the pieces of fruit inside. He flush deepened from the words. "Um, we were together I never really called her my lover. Should I have done that?" He still couldn't believe that they were together for as long as they were either. Ashe rubbed the back of his neck with his free hand. "Um, are you sure? Are you alright? She went back home and I haven't dated anyone since then."

Ashe couldn't figure out what he said wrong. Was Yuri upset?

It would seem Ashe had really grown up without him around. He already knew Ashe had changed physically, that was a given though Yuri was still annoyed his once short freckled friend was taller than him now. In their own world they had parted ways many times and each time they'd met again, Ashe was still the naïve, sweet boy who wanted to become a royal knight and actually do something with his life. It would seem when Yuri wasn't paying attention that he'd finally grown up. He truly didn't know how to feel with this new information. It bothered him and he couldn't understand why.

"I'm fine, enough with your smothering." His tone was a bit more cold as he pushed the hand away from his back and cleared his throat. "Congrats on finally being able to shock me." The cold tone was gone and replaced with is practiced mirth. A snap of his fingers had Aria stopping in her playtime to fly over to her owns shoulder. Yuri nudged his cheek against her beak.

"Well I suppose we should exchange contacts or you might never find me again." His own lavender eyes avoiding those concerned green.

"Ah right, sorry." Ashe took his hand away. He knew something was wrong, but he couldn't figure it out yet. He's heard the cold tone before, yet not directed towards him. The moment Ky felt the atmosphere change he walked over to Ashe and stood in front of him. Ashe reached down and rubbed his head with a reassuring smile. He's sure his smile didn't reach his eyes, but he didn't know what he said to have Yuri reacting in such a way. He always thought it bothered Yuri the way there were some thing he didn't know. He wasn't as worldly as Yuri or as knowledgeable that many times he felt behind in some way. Now he was a different person he knew more things and could keep up! Yuri wouldn't be bothered by him right? Then why did it feel off between them now?

Ky nudging at his leg took Ashe away from his thoughts. He picked him up and tried to soothe his concerned chirping. "I never thought I could do that." Ashe joked lightly. He noticed the way Yuri wasn't looking at him which was another thing that worried him. "Oh right, here's my contact information, but we can hang out. I have time now! I, um, want to see you again."

Ashe pressed his red face against Ky's head. Why did he get shy all of sudden? He knew he wanted to see Yuri some more he didn't want him to disappear again.

"Well it seems you've been able to accomplish much without me." He spoke under his breath, low enough that Ashe wouldn't hear but Aria did. The Spritzee frowned and gave her owner a beaked kiss before flying over to perch on top of Ashe's head, getting comfortable there. "Between you and Aria am I feel like I'm surrounded by two mother hens." With a shake of his head he took out his own gear to exchange contacts.

Yuri could tell Ashe was uncomfortable without even looking at him. He might have grown but the man still had zero control over hiding his emotions. It was endearing and a bit nostalgic. Seeing the blush on the others face when he looked up? That had his stomach turning. When had Ashe become so cute? "You want to see me again?" He was a bit taken back by the comment. Leave it to Ashe to be the one to fluster him. He covered his mouth, hiding the smile and tinted cheeks that threatened to show. "You fool. If you're so upset about me leaving then don't do anything that will make me want to leave."

Ashe hummed happily when Aria settled on his head. Well, he was glad that Aria liked him and they just met. "We can't help worrying you, right Aria?" Aria chirped in response. He placed Ky down to get his gear and exchange contact information with him. When he placed his gear back in his bag Ky chirped until Ashe picked him back up again. Sometimes he forgot how concerned Ky could be along with Chandelure who hovered around him in concern. Ashe soothed Chandelure before he turned to Yuri with a small smile. "I do."

He rubbed Ky's head as he tried to calm down. It was hard when Yuri was right in front of him and he hadn't figured out if Yuri was still mad at him. However, with that answer it made him feel better.

"I won't! Um, if I do let me know! I'll make sure to make things right so you won't want to leave."

Aria chirped on Ashe's head, enjoying her owners new friend. He had a nice smile and smelled nice so she liked him. Plus it seemed her owner liked him too even if he was being a bit grumpy.

Yuri raised a brow at Aria. The darn pokemon was betraying him by being all cuddly with Ashe, even if he had to admit it was a cute sight. Taking a deep breath to calm himself he removed his hand, no longer feeling whatever embarrassment he had before. "I'm older than all of you. I don't need to be coddled."

He put his phone away and moved closer to Ashe. He really hated that he was taller than him now, teasing Ashe wasn't the same when he had to look up at him. "Calm down Ashe I won't leave you, at least not yet." He reached up and ruffled Ashe's hair, moving aria off him and messing up the others hair. Aria hovered by Ashe before sitting on his shoulder with Yuri giving her a look that said 'traitor'. "Anyway, I've been meaning to ask you this the whole time but....what are you wearing?"

Ky liked Aria. She knew that Ashe was a good person who smelled good and had great hair to nest in. Ky still didn't fully trust Aria's trainer just yet, but he's willing to be easier with him since Ashe liked him. Still, he's going to keep an eye on him just to be safe.

"We're still going to check in on you, right Aria?" Ashe looked up at the bird who chirped in response. He chuckled as he handed her another treat then handed one to his pokemon. He knew they were going to get mad if he didn't hand them a treat too. Ashe tried to calm down when Yuri moved closer to him. He was always good looking, but up close he could see that he was really pretty. Has he always been really pretty? Ashe snapped out of his daze when Yuri ruffled his hair. "Really? I'm glad."

He slowly reached over to pet Aria's head while Ky chirped happily at her. Ashe looked down at his clothes before giving a sheepish smile. "Ahh, yeah, I was having quite a lazy day that I didn't feel like looking for my regular pants. I know it's a baggy look, but oh! Wait! It's part of how they dress here. Yeah there are stores that sell clothes like this. They have all kinds of outfits, shoes, and makeup! There's a shop here, but the clothes here are a little different. When I went to the store they told me they have a side for traditional clothes and casual ones. I know that the city Goldenrod has more choices we could probably go there or visit the shops here. They have a bigger selection than back home."

The verdict was still out on him on rather he liked the clothing of this world. The baggy clothes didn't do anything to Ashe's form and he didn't really like them. He enjoyed his archer's uniform and the way the clothing fit to his body. It was never revealing but there was something to be said about how the fabric and armor seemed to make Ashe seem a bit bigger than he was now. Yuri missed it.

He linked their arms together, pulling Ashe in close. "Did my ears deceive me or did you say makeup?" He was very interested now. "Well are the stores open still or do I need to see these makeup stores?" He had money left still from when he first arrived and had no idea how things would be priced but it seemed Ashe was doing fine here so perhaps he could convince him to show him around and get him a few necessities.

Since being in this new world he has paid a little more attention to the way he's dressed. He knew Yuri would be able to find some wonderful things to wear. Ashe did his best not to get flustered when Yuri pulled him in close. He couldn't helped it, though it was nice to see him excited. He still had a lot of money that he hadn't really spent yet, so he was ready to go do some shopping! He placed Ky on the ground who followed them along with Chandelure.

"Yes I did! The stores are still open!" Ashe finished the rest of his crepe. "I'm going to show you the bigger one here so we can get some more choices. Oh and don't worry about buying anything I can cover you! There are some palettes that you're really going to love." He may have seen those palettes and thought that they would look great on him. He really couldn't wait to see how it looked in person.

Oh this was too good to be true. Ashe, dear sweet Ashe was going to pamper him? This had to be some strange sort of dream world, that or Ashe was trying to get something out of this but he couldn't tell what and almost didn't care to know. He had said he just wanted to spend time together but surely that wouldn't be an even exchange for what was about to occur.

"Pampering me so, my dear Ashe I think you might be trying to woe me." Yuri grinned, knowing that would get him flustered. "I suppose I'll have to repay the favor another time somehow. I'll think of something worthy for you." There was a wink as he let go of Ashe to start pushing him forward. "Well, lead the way to the goods."

Ashe wanted to help him out. He remembered when he first entered this new world when he had to figure out the different shops that were around now he can help Yuri do the same thing. He really wanted to pamper him cause he wanted to spend more time with him too! They had a chance to spend time together without having to run on the battlefield he didn't want to pass this up.

Ashe gave a sheepish smile as red dusted his cheeks. "I wanted to help you adjust!" He'd have another way to woo Yuri not that he would be oppose to doing it. He can't think when Yuri is teasing him! "Oh you don't have to I don't mind!" He chuckled as he led Yuri to the store. "I could take you to some more stores after this too."

"Oh Ashe you really are too much but please do keep this going I adore it."He held onto him tightly as they headed to the stores. Everything looked really nice and he really enjoyed being with Ashe. It was really nice not to have to worry about being stabbed out in the open at any moment, though he was still cautious.

"Are you going to buy anything yourself or am I just your little doll to dress up today? Though I don't mind being your plaything Ashe." He winked at him, placing a playful kiss on his cheek. Though if Yuri was being honest he wanted to kiss him elsewhere, his lips would have been a good place to start.

Ashe did his best not to let his mind wander with the way Yuri held on to him. Sure part of him knows it's Yuri playing with him, but he also knows that there's some truth behind his words too. Still, it was nice to be able to go to the store with Yuri without having to worry about the next battle.

Have the chance to dress Yuri up? Being his plaything? Then that kiss on his cheek! How is supposed to concentrate when Yuri is bringing out all these hidden feelings out in the open again? He could imagine Yuri in something really nice...wait a minute! Now isn't the time to imagine Yuri in something sexy! He couldn't stop his blush as he tried to form a sentence.

"If you want to get some clothes we can. Not to say I would dress you up um I mean not to say I wouldn't if we had time. I mean you just got here so we can focus on one thing at a time!"

Despite being flustered he had a big feeling maybe his feelings was mutual. Right?

Ashe was a mess at the affection and it was the exact reaction Yuri had been hoping for. The man was too cute and while he enjoyed teasing he wasn't sure he'd make it himself if Ashe kept up being this adorable. The man's cuteness level was off the charts honestly. He wondered what sort of things Ashe was thinking of exactly at the mention of 'dress-up'. Yuri had his own ideas but he'd kill to have a peak into Ashe's mind right now.

"For fear of you spontaneously combusting out of embarrassment, I think we can hold off on dress up this time. For now let's just get some makeup and maybe some necessities." He stayed close with Ashe and even leaned against him, enjoying being with him. "You aren't off the hook though Ashe, I do plan to go on a shopping date with you another time and we will both dress up. Sound like a deal?" He smiled up at him and even Aria chirped in joy at that.

Ashe didn't know when or if he would be able to tell Yuri the kind of things he imagined Yuri in. It varied from the cute outfits he saw in the store to the oversize shirts that would rise up along his thighs. He had to stop those thoughts before it grew out of hand!

"Sure that works for me. I could go pick some things up along the way." Ashe couldn't stop the smile on his face from Yuri leaning against him. Even if the warmth added to him being flustered. "Oh! Really? You want to dress me up? I don't think I'd look half as good, but if you really want me to I'll do it."

Ky joined in with Aria. He definitely wanted to see Ashe dressed up too.

"Shush, you would look roguishly handsome. Believe me Ashe, I know these things." Oh he was indeed leading Ashe on now at this point but he didn't plan to lead him on for no reason. He was going to play fair and if Ashe kept taking his compliments and obvious flirts he would eventually be rewarded nicely. Yuri already had some nice rewards in mind for Ashe at a later time of course.

Aria flew between the two of them before landing on Ashe's silvery hair and finding it comfortable there. Yuri couldn't help the chuckle that left him at the sight. "I believe you've stolen my pokemon. That must be a crime, whatever shall I do." He teased.
