I guess you'll just have to get used to it? I know kids sometimes go through phases like this and they delight in being frustrating and getting a rise out of people. Not that this character is the same way, but Pokemon are pretty intelligent, so who knows.

On the other hand, it could be this bird's way of talking in general instead of just saying the name over and over, which means you'll always have to put up with this.
