[Between the two revelations it's hard not to burst out laughing at the first one. Not only did she say something she would have kept to herself about her mom, but she confirmed it without hesitation. #RIPAMASMOM]

[He raised his hands defensively as he tried to keep her from going into a full meltdown. Living with three sisters, he knows the risks]

( she's all too ready to discuss her mom's bust, it seems. amaterasu really has no idea what boundaries are. when he bursts out laughing, amaterasu can't help but snicker and giggle along with him.

he is smart with this, though. because as soon as she starts getting into a tizzy, he's on top of it and responds as though he believes her -- which is good since she's definitely the deity. ) ...ah! Well, that's expected. It is pretty amazing to meet Amaterasu in the flesh! ( and she's immediately back to being high and mighty. )

[That's sure not true in the reverse. That's the last thing he'd want to talk about concerning his own mom.

When he gets himself under control, he has to wipe a tear from one eye.] Course it is! Especially in some random place like this. [Hey, he'll just keep playing along and keep the peace] You're a lot younger than I expected.

( she's not bothered by much when it comes to her mom, apart from her being dead and all -- or rather she should be dead. things are complicated with gods kamis. )

That's fair... It is pretty random, hmm? ( it's best that he placate her -- especially because it's really her and all. she shrugs lightly. ) Bah! Amaterasu is much older than Amaterasu looks. It's hard to really put an age on the sun. ( not really, it's about 4.6 billion years. )

Speaking about being in a random place, we should look into what we're even supposed to do! Although really Amaterasu just mostly looks like Amaterasu's sister, Tsukuyomi! ( twins, eh? )

Neither do I! "Mom" is too creepy to stick around! ( again, not her mother. she sets her hands on her hips though. ) Where should we start again?... ( if only amaterasu pays attention... spoiler: she doesn't. )

Eh? Yes, Tsukuyomi is my sister! We're twins! ( tsukuyomi is, technically, male but in her world there are a lot of kamis who aren't the "right" gender. it is what it is. )

[Shooting a glance over his shoulder back to the house he woke up in] Tell me about it.. what was up with that. [Let's just put some distance between "mom" and us] Uh.. right. [Fumbling around with his bag he draws out the Pokégear thing] This might give us a hint...

So you have a sister you have to deal with too... try having three. [He loves them, but.. yeah]

... actually, how come we both had a "mom" that we woke up to? That is very weird and creepier even ... ( was everyone else getting to meet "mom," too? that would just capitalize on the weirdness about arriving here. ) Oh! What's that anyway? Do you know? ( she knows that he's arriving here at the same time but perhaps he looked at it before she did. she's the one who ran into him after all. )

Wow! You have three sisters? Amaterasu has a twin, like I said, and a brother! ( technically, kagutsuchi is also her sister but the canon doesn't seem to think so since it's never mentioned. ) I bet having three sisters is a lot... having one brother is a lot for me. Susano-o is sooo annoying.

Hey you're right. It would be different if only one of us experienced that- but both of us?! [This was crossing a line, and it wasn't the sort Reki wanted to.] I've heard some folk tales.. about this spirit of a woman that kidnaps children.. and.... [.. and he better not say more than that. Unconsciously he was leaning further away from the house he started in] I have no idea. [..but he tinkers with it a little, fiddling with some dials and poking some buttons.]

Sure do, and they can be a handful. [They likely would say the same thing about their older brother] ... but I guess I wouldn't trade them for anything.

( she's really not sure she likes the idea of it either. she arches her brow to the red head as he gets into tales of myths and tilts her head. ) What myth is that one? ( she's curious now. buuut she also doesn't want to go back to that creepy "not-mom" so she's steering clear from the house too. ) Hmm... Amaterasu is just as lost as you are with the gear thing. Maybe we should just press all the buttons!

That's how it is with Susano-o, but, hmnn... Amaterasu supposes she wouldn't trade him either.

[A deep sigh] I'm not really good with this kind of thing... [Ghosts, spooks, creepypastas... none of it. It just creeps him out wayyyy too much.] Let's just get out of here so it doesn't become a reality.

[To this little tidbit he smiles, then his lips part into a full amused grin] The things we have to put up with, right?

Oh, well. That's okay! Maybe someone else can tell me in the future. ( either way, there are other things to worry about than mythos. ) Good idea!

( sorry, what was that? she can't hear him over the sound of mashing literally every button she can find on this thing. briefly it records the pair of them before changing to the dex where all the information on the pokemon themselves are before it finally flips through enough screens that the map pops up. ) Wha-hey! Amaterasu did it! I knew I would.

Right? Siblings~ you cannot live with them or without them!

If they do, just make sure that I'm not within earshot when they tell it. [Reki is the most brave when it comes to ghost stories.]

[There was no stopping her from the frantic button pushing. The expressions that are projected onto the network were probably quite comical for anyone that catches it. Reki was known for his his expressive features and right now he was looking aghast as she risked breaking her pokegear to find something useful. That all melts away when she actually pulls it off.] You can't argue with those results. [He grins at her then looks at the map.] It kind of looks like something out of a video game.... this would be right up Miya's alley. [But the younger skater wasn't here.]

admittedly, it was a bad plan and it's a miracle that she managed to find the map. she's not sure what the hell a "video game" is though. knitting her brow into a frown, she shrugs her shoulders at him. ) What does that mean? "Video game" ..?

Me?! [The redhead's tone pitched higher when he questioned her.] I'm not scared! Who said I was scared?! [He's totally close to losing it already. No sudden movements.]

You don't know? You must have some pretty strict parents. [She's a goddess, Reki. Did you miss that part?] A video game is like... um.. how to put it. It's like a video that you control.... no.. that's not right. That makes no sense. There are so many different types of them. [He looked to the pokegear for a moment] Some of them are handheld units like this, only instead of showing you just a map, you'd have a little sprite character that you could move around on the screen using the buttons. [There. Perfect. Can you tell he doesn't play them much, either?]

Are your siblings old enough to look out for themselves... because some of mine, aren't.
