How am I supposed to know how it seems to someone else? It's not like I sent a poll around to get everyone's opinion on it. [And truthfully, all his obfuscation, thin though it was, was starting to confuse him. All the "theys" and "hers" and "he did this" or "she did thats". It's exhausting..
When you have a short attention span] It's all kind of a moot point anyway... since she.. er.. they.. aren't here.So if you're like a cyborg-human-whatever... do you have a name or a model number?
no subject
You could ask your friend's friends. If it's moot though, I suppose there is not point in discussing it further, particularly because I've given you what information they need.
[Monsoon snickers to himself.]
Oh, no fancy cyborg name and my model number is just a series of letters and numbers for a manufacturing reference. Sorry to disappoint.
no subject
[
Read as: something he wants to hear, since there was nothing overtly wrong with Monsoon's suggestions.]That's a missed opportunity. I guess everyone here is just going to have to call you "hey you" or assign nicknames of their own...
.. You might not know anything about teenagers, or drawing techniques.. eh but I guess I've met more obnoxious people out there. [Is this a compliment? It's hard to tell.
By drawing he totally means "drawing the right sandwich out of a pile"... not drawing as in art. LOL]no subject
I have a regular name, you know. Just because I upgraded to a cybernetic body doesn't make you lose your name.
And you do realize I had to be a teenager to become an adult, yes? I do aplogize my choices weren't good enough for you.

[It was actually bad advice, but Chazz doesn't know that, and the person that gave him said advice thought it was good.]
Huh. I should have thought of that. You going to cough it up, or do I have to drag it out of you?
I don't know how cyborgs work.
[
Chazz. Srsly, he was a human before the whole cyborg thing... Frustrated yet, Monsoon?]no subject
Hmm. I don't know. Maybe I'll let you keep guessing or see what idiotic nickname you come up for me.
Go watch some scifi movies.
[Surprisingly, he's more amused by it than anything. It's fun to have someone to mess with and study who isn't going to be an actual threat like Jack was.]
no subject
[It was definitely, "what he wanted to hear" though.]
"Bucket-of-bolts" it is. Or, no wait. I can do better. What about "Cy-bored", because you're really starting to bore me now.
[Isn't this fun? Aren't you glad you encouraged this?]
Do they even have those here?
[GOOD THING]
no subject
Oh, dear. Now you're just being augmetist. That's not a good look, you know.
[Yes. It's very fun.]
They might. I haven't checked.
no subject
[It's not one he's heard of anyway.]
So, if they gave you robotic parts to go with the human ones... do you have higher than average senses or something? Like... what's the benefit?
no subject
Oh, there's plenty of benefits. No need to eat, greater strength, pain inhibitors, self repair, heightened senses.
It's incredible what the mind is capable of when you're running at 100%.
no subject
I like fried shrimp too much to give them up.
[Wow. Yes, he went there. Passing on all the incredible benefits, for delicious seafood. Not even the fanciest, most expensive type of seafood at that.]
Bet you couldn't legally duel in a tournament either... you know.. when that becomes a thing in my world.
no subject
Don't get me wrong. I missed the taste of things but it was nice not to have to eat to keep up my energy.
I need a special license to even walk around in certain cities because I'm considered a military grade weapon so it wouldn't surprise me.
no subject
[That's saying something because he looks down on a lot of people.]
I guess that part of it would be useful...
... but that part wouldn't. What a drag. You can't even walk wherever you want to. What would they do if you stepped outside of the designated area?
no subject
I would be arrested. Thankfully I had the highest level of clearance in my world so I didn't need to worry about that.
no subject
[Apparently.]
If it's such a non-issue for you, then why did you bring it up?
no subject
Now, now. That's not very nice. What if you were in their shoes?
[Oh my. Someone's insecurities are showing. Monsoon's just grinning to himself.]
As just a general statement to show you the condition of my world.
no subject
[Chazz misses the point anyway, since people have always picked up on differences in others and made commentary about it. That wasn't the same as like.. actual hatred. That was just being observant. Yeah. That.]
I guess that makes sense. Hard to believe that it gets that restrictive..
no subject
[Don't worry, Chazz. Monsoon will stab the point into your head.]
You can't just have people running around as living weapons. It frightens the average citizen, you know.
no subject
[Good luck, it's not easy to do. Although his words sound harsh, Chazz does not in fact mean he would kill someone that dared to insult him.]
Not that I'm encouraging it... but if cyborgs are so powerful you'd think they'd be the ones in charge making the rules not taking them. This stuff is too complicated...
no subject
I see. How interesting.
And there are many people in power are cyborgs, whether their entire body has been replaced or they simply have minor implants. The world is complicated though, yes. Do not fret over it as none of those rules apply here.
no subject
[No worries, Monsoon. Chazz is mostly over that part of the conversation already. It's nothing he has to worry about and likely is never to see so....
.. who cares.]
