Gobo Fraggle | Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock
[Gobo smiled, watching the clouds drift by overhead, the breeze around him scented by the sea. It was really pretty up here, honestly! Now that he was used to it; those first few days had certainly been an... adjustment. But here he was now, relaxing back on an available beach chair, watching the sky and hearing the sea, a guitar resting under his hands as they idly plucked at the strings.
Beside him his Toxel lightly dozed against the leg of the chair, though she perked up when Gobo's fingers eventually found a song. She listened intently, bopping her head to the beat. Gobo, catching the movement, glanced down as he noticed her start making strumming motions, clumsily of course but enough to get him grinning.]
Hey-eyy, nice job bud!
[And so, sitting up he continued to play, "jamming" with his Pokemon, though of course others around are more than welcome to join in or listen.]
Route 31
[Okay, doubling back because of rain hadn't exactly been on his plan today, but that's what you took sometimes, being out in nature! He'd sprinted back for the gatehouse as soon as the big drops had started falling, but even then he was completely soaked by the time he made it inside. Stopping just in to shake himself all over- yes, more like a dog than a person -he headed over to a window to look out.]
Whoah, it's really comin' down out there! [A soft laugh, and he glanced down at the Exeggcute bouncing along behind him.] Better off in here, eh? [That got a perky "Execeg!" and he nodded.] Thought so.
[He leaned back against the wall, idly scanning to see if anyone else had gotten caught outside.]
Wonder if it'll clear up anytime soon...
Video
[The video opens on Gobo, out on a route somewhere, who waves at the camera after a moment or two.]
Er, hey all! Not used to this lookie yet... Ahem. I had a real quick question that someone here might be able to help me with?
[He steps aside, showing a Victreebel who seems a bit pained. Gobo approaches it, but it hisses and whips at him; the feed jumps as he does, and settles after a moment.]
So this is one of my Pokemon! Just evolved him, and I think he... has a toothache? Anyone got any way to help with that?

Thrift store visit
It is the good kind of thrift store. Not the sort that is trying to be all fancy and hip, and sells mostly clothing; it's the sort that is overflowing with racks with the weirdest shit known to mankind, the sort where any piece of clothing you find has some indecipherable message on it, the sort that looks fully stocked with the lifetime collections of thirty kooky grandmas.
It is, in other words, the perfect kind of place for Riz to find a little gift for Boober, the kind he always brings home whenever he has travelled somewhere. And this time, he has one of Boober's friends with him to help him find something.
Though speaking of Gobo.
Riz turns to him.]
Remember, even though this is a thrift store, you still gotta pay for stuff before walking out.
[Fraggles and capitalism rarely mix.]

But, the mission. He blinks himself out of his reverie, nodding as Riz's words sunk in.]
Right! I got it. You can count on me Riz, we'll find the best thing for Boober here for sure!
no subject
[Riz knows Boober is weird for a Fraggle. He doesn't mind that. He likes that about him! But not knowing what the average Fraggle is like, it is sometimes hard to tell what are Boober traits and what are Fraggle traits.
It seems especially important to know now that there are two fraggles occasionally gracing their apartment. If Gobo is also fond of collecting random odds and ends, they are gonna have to clear another drawer for him or something.]

[As he spoke, he was already browsing some of the nearby items. At the moment he'd picked up a mug and was turning it slowly in his hands. He studied it for a bit, then ultimately shrugged and put it back down. Nah, too "doily" for Boober.]
no subject
[Riz has never been very big on collecting things, unless one were to count clues. Perhaps part of it is the fact that between growing up in a hole in the wall apartment, and with a mom who had to work her very hardest to make the budget stretch far enough, there never had been enough money left over to spend on stuff that wasn't necessary.
Riz's fingers drift past something that definitely doesn't seem suited to Boober -- Shadowmaru maybe though -- before he glances back at Gobo.]
So, what do you collect?
no subject
Hats, mostly. I've got some buttons I've found, and a whole bunch'a rocks. Oh! And whatever artifacts my uncle sends back to Fraggle Rock with his postcards, though I guess those technically go to the museum, not to me.
[On that note, he looks at the next object he picked up, wondering if he could ship this back to home. On second thought nah, the postage would be too difficult, and don't even get him started on finding a good box.
...Right! Boober. Looking for a gift for Boober.]
Route 31
[Sheesh, this whole place is just crawling with kids, huh? It's just weird. The only kid Rizzo is used to being around regularly is his boss's nephew, sometimes, but the workplace is so crazy and loud that it's hard to notice the little green tyke. Of course, on the other hand, Rizzo's best friend is Gonzo. And he's basically a full-sized child, with the attention span to match, so...
But regardless of how prepared he is - or isn't - to talk to a teenager, Rizzo would be fine leaving the conversation there. His Combusken, however, has other ideas. And he's at a nearly perfect height to elbow his trainer in the stomach. Hard.]
Ow! Yeesh, what gives? Uh-- [Combusken pointedly looks from Rizzo to the kid.] Well, I think you can find it online? With your Pokey-gear.
no subject
Rrright! That- thing. That I'm totally used to using already.
[He glances down at his Pokemon, who is giving him several eyes' worth of flat looks. What? He helplessly shrugs.]
no subject
Here, grab yours. I'll show ya how to get to the weather, okay?
no subject
[Pulling it out, he leaned over and watched attentively as he was walked through the steps. And once that weather popped up? He sighed, following a sharp little grunt.]
Great. It'll be raining all the rest of the day. [He poked around at the PokeGear a bit more, looking ahead.] Sure makes me wish I had something to protect us out there, but we might just have to go for it. [He muttered a bit.] Sure don't have that problem down at the Rock...
[Exeggcute glanced out the window, and bounced a bit. What was wrong with a little rain? Rain felt great!]
no subject
With a huff, Rizzo crosses his arms, taking a second to silently sulk before glancing over again.] The rock? What rock?
no subject
[He put the PokeGear away, looking back over now.]
It's a bunch of underground caves, so.. the weather's pretty constant down there. Sure it'll get cold and icy, or really hot and misty, but not a lot of real rain.
no subject
At least, not when the roof was in-tact.
no subject
The wall of a theater? [He's not quite sure what a theater is, but context at least lets him figure it out.] What would happen to the roof?
