[Both Growlithe look over at Bo-Katan. They blink. Their heads tilt back and forth. Sorry Rowlet, they're having a hard time seeing it.]

He did? [And Shadowmaru has a hard time seeing that when he thinks about the Mandalorian he knows.] Perhaps we know different members of that sect, then. That doesn't seem like something he would say to another...

[On the other hand he knows one (1) Mandalorian who has never needed to talk about others... really.]

[She patiently corrects him. One name. Not two]

[As for whether or not they know the same Mandalorian...]

Is his name Din Djarin?

[Because if so, they are definitely talking about the same person.]

Ah, Lady Kryze it is, then. Excellent. [... Yeah he does kind of do the formalities thing. Besides, he likes how that sounds. Nice and dramatic.]

[But he's quick to frown, slightly. No, that name doesn't ring a bell. Because, as far as he knows:]

As far as I am aware, my Mandalorian goes by the name "Mando".

[Oh boy.]

[Yes, she could tell. She has to wonder how he would react if he knew he was talking to a princess. But that's something she tends to keep under her helmet unless someone already knows.

At at the mention of "Mando" though, there's a pause. And then a roll of her eyes along with a sigh.]

That's him.

[Honestly, Din. Are you still going by that? She thought these days the only person who called him that anymore was that magistrate on Nevarro.]

Shiny armor with a mudhorn, right?

[Please hold. The fancy AI is having an internal hard drive failure. BSOD. Shadowmaru.exe has stopped working.]

[His Growlithe look back and forth, clearly this is a Big Deal.]

[All this time! All this time! He's been using the wrong name? For the love of-!]

We are dating and he never said that was his name!

[Since when was Din dating anyone? Since when was he even thinking about such things? Certainly not any time that she's ever known him. It definitely throws her off. Not sure what else to say. As for why Din never told this guy his name, well, that's not any of her business. Sorry Shadowmaru, she's staying out of that one.]

[Well now he's just annoyed. We're so sorry this is your introduction to the pokemon world Bo-Katan. It's not always this dramatic.]

[Though, clearly, he seems to realize this is not the best impression to make on someone who goes by Lady. He straightens up, smooths his hair out, and gathers himself.]

[Well now she's done it. Oh well. Not her problem. Sighing to herself, Bo takes her glass and downs the rest of it in one go. She then waves him off dismissively.]

[She then gets up and goes back to the bar and requests another of whatever she had been given. With a new glass in hand she comes back.]

How about telling me where I can find a ship out of here.

[He should have guessed someone as familiar with space as one of Mando's friends would want to get off this world. His expression is as sympathetic as can be when he goes on:]

I suppose it was too much to hope for that Din simply found himself another planet to park on.

[She has things to do. Planets to rebuild. Idiot Mandalorians she was trying not to think about. It seems fate had other ideas, and she’s not too happy about it.]

So then what is a girl like me supposed to do in a place like this? What motivation does this Arceus have?
