Fall CR meme
CR MEME!
Another three months have come and gone, so it is time for another CR meme. This time a cosy fall themed one.
Please share your ideas of interactions you'd love your character to have, or plots you are rolling around in your head that might need a few more folks. Is your character looking for a friend? An enemy? A rival? You could find it all here. And remember, the more detailed, the better! We all want all the CR, but specific plans, or at least a specific direction you want to take something in, will really help out everybody involved.
Need a reminder of some things that will be coming up? There will be several swarms this month, as well as a Halloween bash (and combined contest) at the end of the month. Additionally, November means it will be time for yet another fourth wall! So why not try and plot for that already?
Like before, this CR meme will also include a template specifically geared towards Rocket CR. Please fill it in to let our Rocket members know how you feel about getting your characters involved in some crime.

Canon: Infinity Train
Cliffnotes: Min-Gi spends most of his time around various parts of Kanto, particularly Vermilion and its connecting cities. His and Ryan's band play a lot of venues in the cities they can warp to so they do travel a fair bit. And yes, some of the events they play for October will be spooky. This month they're headed to Cinnabar and Viridian in their downtime which will give them easy access to pretty much the whole of the region. They will be heading to the Halloween party, but whether Min's taking part in the contest or not remains to be seen.
Looking for: I don't have specific thoughts right now, but I'm always down for Min to get to know more musical types. See below if you're interested in the Rocket side of things.

Canon: Harry Potter
Cliffnotes: Harry is an hapless angsty young man with magic, PTSD & depression, and bad luck, is a walking trouble magnet, has the people saving thing and chronic hero syndrome. He is genuinely kind and loyal unless you dare to tick him off. Also he’s a nosy little sneak. He is coming right after repairing his wand at the end of Deathly Hallows (no 19 Years Later), so he is still shaken from the battle aftermath (but it is hard to tell the longer he stays in here).
While he can’t start it right now, he is hoping to get started on his gym battle journey since he now has Pokémon strong enough to take on Falkner and Bugsy. He is also very much looking forward to see a lot of Pokémon and raise a really great team too. He is currently calling the Femblemtrioka commune in Olivine City home thanks to Hermione’s inter-, I mean, recommendation. You just can’t leave him alone for five minutes without jumping head first into danger even if you take him out of Hogwarts. Also raising six new Pokémon from Cecil’s stamp rally egg clutch. He would like to find his own career path outside of the gym battle circuit.
Looking for: Give him Friends, Parent figures, Frenemies! People who would try to stop him from being a reckless idiot. I'm cool with romance as long as it doesn't involve huge age gaps, he hasn’t moved on from his break up with Ginny at the moment. He will also defend kids and teens like a big brother. Also he needs a travel party to join and help him because he can’t just do things on his own, although he does have experience camping thanks to that ‘treasure destroying quest’ of his own back at home.

Cliffnotes: Isabela is the eldest of the Madrigal grandchildren with the gift to grow plants and who had to suppress her own feelings, desires, and dreams for the sake of her family and community since she was 5. She was initially seen as the golden child of the family but was never truly happy living up to the expectations of the people around, her Abuela Alma included. But then her little sister Mirabel accidentally caused a series of mishaps on the night she (Isbaela) was supposed to get proposed by a neighbor, causing her to let out her frustrations about having to live up to other people’s standards and getting the epiphany to finally unleash her inner rebel and go nuts with her gift.
At the moment, Isa is in Goldenrod City and she is hoping to find more Grass Pokémon possibly to adopt and raise an army of cacti Pokémon, er, I mean, her part Grass type Pokémon team. She is also looking into Gym Battles as well though she is currently working hard to train her team first before she jumps into it.
Looking for: Give her friends, frenemies, and anyone who wants to talk about plants and Grass Pokémon. At the moment, she is not interested in romance as she just got off from a marriage proposal. And I know that she has two little sisters running around in Jotho, so she may need to keep an eye on them before they could get hurt.

Canon: The Mandalorian
Cliffnotes: Bo-Katan has only been around for about a month so she is very new, still getting a feel for the world, and exploring! Also training and getting ready to go for gym challenges. She’s generally serious but mostly friendly! She has a very extensive and traumatic past that she generally doesn’t talk about unless you can get her to open up. Goes around wearing a full suit of armor, sometimes with her helmet on and sometimes not.
She is a princess from a race of warrior people and can be prone to fist fighting if you manage to piss her off. Because she’s a leader type she likes to be around people, and is unhappy when she’s alone. It should also be noted that she has feelings for a certain other Mandalorian, who is already taken, that she’s trying to overcome.
Recently she’s gotten into Cyclizars and racing them ever since winning the race last month. It wouldn’t be unusual to stumble across her reading the latest issue of Paldean Rider magazine. While traveling she can usually be found riding her own Cyclizar.
This month she is exploring Johto and will be going from Goldenrod all the way back to New Bark. She can be encountered anywhere along the way, catching Pokémon and battling trainers.
Looking for: Open to anything and everything, but mostly looking for friends. A traveling partner to RP things with during her journey would be amazing. Open to romantic relationships but she may be hard to win over after recent heartbreak. If you can beat a man who pledged to serve her the rest of her life, go for it! At the very least, having someone close enough she feels she can talk to would really help her as she’s keeping a lot bottled up at the moment.

Nothing would be done without permission of course! Just something to keep in mind lol.

Canon: Jojo's Bizarre Adventure (Golden Wind)
Cliffnotes: Vinegar Doppio is a somewhat nice, somewhat meek and somewhat dim young man who happens to be in Team Rocket. He was also the right-hand man of a powerful mafia boss back in Italy. Oh, and he shares a body with that very same powerful mafia boss, whose name is Diavolo. It's sort of an anime DID thing but also literally two souls in one body. You know how it goes.
Thanks to his professional experience, Doppio seeks to climb Team Rocket's ranks, but he puts up an upstanding front as a traveling trainer - or at least he did, before his prestigious position in the Legendary Seekers (of which he became a member for the sole purpose of spying for Team Rocket, shhhh) began taking up more and more of his time. It sure is hard to juggle a double life!
Looking for: oh my god someone kick Doppio's ass and make him go rematch Clair already
In more vague terms, I am always open to all kinds of CR, especially since Doppio, as his own one-body travel group, can be a little isolated! Unlikely friends worming their way into his heart are always great, and I loooove villain CR no matter what form it takes.

Escapes, adopts a pack of unruly teenagers who become the saviors of the universe with giant robot lions. Kind of a closet nerd. Caffeine addict. Perma-banned from the kitchen due to the Cup Noodle Incident. Has been in VR for longer than I can honestly remember, League Champion who is constantly writing apology letters to Bruno. In a constant state of losing his boyfriends.
Looking for: I am always up for new CR!! Shiro has been here a long time (long enough to where my swiss cheese brain has lost track), and has access to pretty much every town if he's needed somewhere. He has a habit of sticking his neck out for people who look like they need help of any kind, or talking through new arrivals. Cliffnotes: Shadowmaru is an advanced or "Super AI" robot from the "21st Century" Japan. He's considered a stealth unit, and calls himself the "Ninja Detective". He's... really flashy for someone who's supposed to be quiet and stealthy, with his own saxophone theme song. No, seriously. He has A Thing about wolves vs dogs and water-related trauma he does not discuss whatsoever (tl;dr his bestie/BF died in an ocean trench and shadowmaru almost died at sea too). Here in VR he does clothing reviews on Staryutube for a living, and lives in Olivine with a lot of ... dogs... and water types, because I'm a cruel human being.
Looking for: Just about anything, really! He routinely offers up assistance to people before formal events or parties, and rarely goes anywhere without some form of glitter on his person. He can be reclusive, though, and rarely discusses himself or his past beyond "yes I am an AI". He probably needs more friends who will bully him into doing that... honestly...

Cliffnotes: Local pink-loving lesbian is actually the grim reaper despite her quirky inexplicable British accent and sweet, friendly nature. Being wise beyond her years and empathetic is offset by it not actually being beyond her years since she's centuries old and her being a blabbermouth ditz. Kind and patient until she decides it's fun to troll someone or hits them over the head with a baseball bat.
Did you get the hint from her name that she has an affinity/fondness towards flowers. It's very subtle.

Looking for: Botan is pretty malleable but in general she just loves helping people and being able to provide comfort and reliable support to others. She tends to be a "mom" kind of character (despite being "27" in universe) and that was entirely unintentional, it just happened. She could use some help herself now, though, considering she's returning to Johto after a three year long absence. She's engaged (getting married on Halloween!) so obviously not looking for romance. I guess the tl;dr is friends and beware she does have mom tendencies.
