What are you looking for: EVERYTHING. After five years in Johto, Sion's finally come to the conclusion that he may as well make the most of his time here while it lasts, so! He can always use more friends, especially persistent sorts who won't let him get away with keeping them at arm's length.

Blurb: Outwardly, Sion's charismatic and warm, full of smiles, kindness, and patience. Inwardly, he still has a lot of self-doubts, and while he's getting better, he still hesitates to truly open up to people. Still, though, his warmth and kindness are genuine, even if he's reluctant to risk getting too close to people even now.
Plans: Sion and Ryner's gym request has been submitted and is pending approval, so that's probably a thing that will happen! Otherwise I'm pretty open, really.

Idk where about in Ecruteak Sion and Ryner live, but I'm planning to have Walter's home be somewhere near the Burned Tower. All the local ghosties!

What are you looking for: Mostly friendship things. Also down for any sort of debates and science. Especially debates on morality and strategy and stuff like that. And I'm always down for Armin learning about new worlds and cultures.

Location: Near Olivine. He and his companions will be heading to the Sevii islands next, so most contact is going to be over the gear for the coming month-ish.
Blurb: Armin is mostly serious, generally polite and kind, enthusiastic about any sort of new knowledge and easy to underestimate. He's level-headed and analytical, and he won't easily share all his thoughts. He's also a dreamer who wanted nothing more to travel back home, even though travel and just talk of the outside world was outlawed by the government. He's a (child) soldier who wrestled through three years of gruelling training so he could join the one branch of the military that explores the outside world, only to see like 40% of his graduating class die the day after graduation. He's of the firm opinion that you need to be able to sacrifice important things to change the world, and sometimes those important things are lives. Physically, he's kind of pathetic, but mentally, he's got the sort of brain that is constantly thinking, churning out theories and which finds it far to easy to stray down dark paths and possibilities as well. He's also currently nursing the theory that one of their friends has betrayed them and killed a lot of people, but he's only been willing to open up about that to one person.

Oh, and the world he is from is sort of pre-industrial and generally poor, so he's still endlessly fascinated by a lot of technology and amazing things like being able to own salt and penicillin.
Plans: Armin is going to catch a whale and explore some islands. Probably also catch a haunted sandcastle.

Granted I don't know much about SnK/AoT outside of dem memes, but if Armin is interested in technology and probably eager to learn a thing or two about CQC/wrestling then Chris could help. He's used to teaching others and himself about fighting or hacking into a number of systems. Besides, now that you mention tech he might fiddle around with the PCs in PokeCenters or the Gear and all that jazz. Though I'll definitely hit up your post when it's tossed up!

Plans: Discovering his beautiful, not-at-all strange Komala while travelling to Ecruteak has reminded him that some of those new species that popped up recently are probably Normal-types. Hunting and collecting will undoubtedly ensue.

Walter Sullivan | Silent Hill 4

Canon: Silent Hill 4: The Room
Location: Currently in Sevii Islands, very soon settling down in Ecruteak City.
Blurb: Walter is a man with a very troubled, disturbing past. Heavily abused as a child and brainwashed into their faith, he was raised in an Orphanage run by the Order, a cult dedicated to a demon and desiring to bring about the end of the world to open the gates of Paradise. With a demon slipped into his mind, Walter was taught how to perform a murderous ritual and grew up to become a serial killer, commit suicide, and rise again as an unstoppable ghost to continue killing to complete the ritual.

'Free' of his demon but haunted by his background, Walter's an affable but very shy and withdrawn man in Victory Road. He has a mess of issues to deal with but adores his Pokemon and generally tries to avoid other people, although persistence has led to Walter having several (gasp) friends. He's still trying to learn about what it is to have friends and what the world is like, and struggling to see past the lies he was raised in.

Plans: Following an incident involving Henry Townshend and his own Pokemon, Assumption, Walter's currently taking things a little slower. He'll be focusing on his Pokemon, dealing with the fallout of the incident and will start really thinking about what the Order taught him and start to push, however tentatively, against those mental blocks.

Plans: She may be involved in playing nurse to those who have expressed interest in that Pokemon Fight Club and may travel to visit Sion's gym... mostly to give lessons in archery, but maybe to see what the excitement of a gym is all about. I'm interested in having her learn about all the lovey dovey holidays though so there's that!

Tagging Habits: I'm an EST person, usually on at night and on weekends. I multitask a lot, but I try to get my tags out in a reasonable amount of time at least. Backtags are my lifeblood, please backtag me.
What are you looking for: Everything! Ryner's lost a lot of important CR over his many years of being in Johto, so I'm always up for anything. Friendship, mutual annoyance, people to prod him into not being so lazy... He's still a bit closed off, though, so persistence is key. If you keep poking him, he will cave, so don't give up.

Location: The general vicinity of Ecruteak City, since he and Sion have a house there, and pending approval will be starting a gym there soon too.
Blurb: Some call him the Strongest Mage in Roland. Others call him the Demon King. Still others call him a monster because of his Alpha Stigma (though the important people don't). But in reality, Ryner is a bookish lazybutt who would break the laws of time and space to sleep 25 hours a day if anyone would ever let him. (No one will ever let him.) Granted, recent developments in his canon and growth in Johto have combined to encourage him to actually start trying to be useful, and he does try. It's just that when you grow up despised from a young age because of the eyes you're born with, it's very easy to slip into the pattern of "why bother", and very very hard to get out of it, so he's still pretty fail.

He kind of comes off as detached with strangers, but that's mostly because he has difficulty letting anyone in, for fear of hurting the other or being hurt. But keep at it and get to know him, and he's actually a very kind person who cares a lot for what friends he has. (General rule of thumb: the grumpier he gets when you tease him, the more he likes you.)

(Also by bookish I mean magic otaku. He loves everything to do with magic and can nerd at you for days if you get him started. He may kind of live vicariously through his Clefairy a bit in Johto.)
Plans: Pending approval, Ryner and Sion will be starting a gym soon, so there's that. And I've got a post idea I've been sitting on for a while that'll probably show up some time this spring, involving a Magikarp pond and a box of Local Cheerios Knockoff #512. Aside from that, though, I'm pretty open to whatever.

Not... that she wasn't before, but she's much more willing to reach out now.
Plans: Elsa's gunna be making the rounds of the towns and cities with Johto now that she's pitched the idea of traveling to Anna! So it'll be hard to meet up with friends new and old, unless she and Anna are stopped in a town for a few days, but they haven't set any kind of limit to how long they're going to spend in each town, so that's something!

Blurb: Rakka is/was a "Haibane" which basically means she formerly looked like one of those angels you see on Hallmark cards. Still, she's a sweet little girl, a quick learner, and always considerate of others. Even if there's a bit of nativity when it comes to certain things in this world.

She was also formerly a human, and an amnesiac. So that's fun.
Plans: Coming up in a couple days is Rakka's one year anniversary in Victory Road and naturally she wants to have some kind of celebration! So there'll at least be a post about that later this coming week.

Blurb: Jane's a pretty friendly girl, if a touch odd, and though she's getting better at accepting weirdness she still has a respectable skepticism about her. Inwardly, she's self-conscious and has the ability to reach the end of her patience and temper fairly quickly.
Plans: I'd like to have her go earn all the badges and eventually challenge the Elite Four, and start her own Normal-Type gym! But obviously there's a lot of time between then and now, so I am so down for shenanigans. More friends are always welcome, and I'd particularly love some negative CR that could be a long-term snarky frustration relationship kind of thing. I wouldn't say no to a little romance, either, for any teenage boys around, but it's not a priority

Plans: I would love for Asriel to make friends with other kids, or people who tend to influence him to give into more troublemaking and somewhat nasty tendencies. I'd also like him to end up going into his spoilerific secrets further into the future.

Blurb: Tiny teenager of few words with a penchant for ass-kicking and experience as a one-child army secret agent! Also with plenty of issues regarding abandonment! FUN TIMES!
Plans: Thida's main goal is to try out this badge-earning thing and start to win enough money to live on through battles, so since that's a pretty general goal, I'd love it if she had some rival trainers to compete with, whether they be friendly or unfriendly. I'd also love it if she got involved in sporty, active-type events with likeminded people, and if she got a chance to become close enough friends with someone, she'd open up some about her experiences in the Splatoon single player campaign.

Plans: Anthy's a Rocket, so of course she'll find herself involved in Rocket plots one way or another, but other than that I'm still feeling her out. I'm open to most any kind of CR for her except a romantic relationship - she actually needs more good friends above all else.

Blurb: One of the original eleven founders of an anti-bioterrorism organization that's been absorbed by the U.N. Though for how impressive his career is, Chris is a giant goof under all those muscles. He's dirty and thirty(-six jk on the former) and quite knowledgeable in wrestling, firearms (even if they don't exist in VR), enjoys training and sparring, sometimes likes a good ol' outdoor cookin/bbq, and all that. He might be a little terse at first, but he's a goo pile Underneath It All.
Plans: As of right now he's planning to meet up with Jill in Violet City and will probably hit up Sprout Tower and Ruins of Alph. After that, travel together as a packaged deal since he's attached to Jill's hip and mc'loving it. Once he's settled he'll probably catch, train, and try not to die in his Bewear's arms when it evolves. Also, I think Jill is going to give him a Parchirisu and might find himself one of these days with a few Stufful eggs or somethin' so if folks want a stuffed bear of their own lmk.

Plans: WELL, she's currently dealing with learning how to navigate a first-time relationship, as well as the fact that a serial killer from the same cult she was born in is not only in Johto but also the target of her adopted brother and fellow Silent Hill survivor's increasingly questionable MURDER URGES, and also the part where some of her own Pokemon have seemingly started to form a (much more innocent but still troubling) offshoot of said cult right under her own nose.

Blurb: After being here for years, Lust has settled happily into Pokemon land and does not miss home at all. She's been through a lot of positive development, and while she's still figuring out a lot of normal human life things, she's got a pretty good hang on it. She's working at the circus and has a radio show company she casually runs out of her house. She's dating Timothy Lawrence, and struggling with the fact that she's finding love again after losing what she assumed was the Only Love of Her Life.
