[Jean's head swivels around towards the sound of a familiar voice, and his eyes light up with surprise when he sees the 104th's resident goddess.]

[OH NO THAT--..... didn't hurt much, because half Rock-type. It did a little damage, of course, but only enough to annoy Ymir a bit.]

K-Kind of, yeah. [... Cryptic, but she'll fill him in soon enough.] Is that your-- Ymir, hey! That's rude!

[Rude being how Ymir hooks one huge foot under Blitz, and kicks him like a soccer ball. Straight back towards Jean.]

[ROCK! Cursed rock, the worst of all Pokemon types! Blitz is ready to rage and fuss, possibly even Self-Destruct, but then he's sailing through the air. This was... not how he anticipated today going.]

[Three years of training with the maneuver gear makes for pretty fast reflexes, and Jean manages to catch Blitz against his chest. The Electrode immediately starts raging and trying to get away, but Jean has gotten pretty good at holding on to upset spheres over the last few months, and he doesn't manage to escape.]

You named that thing Ymir?

[Okay... now that she's certain neither Jean nor that weird orb friend of his are hurt, Historia lets herself laugh a little. She bops Ymir on the nose again as punishment, though. She won't let her off that easy, don't worry!]

She's as stubborn as a mule and pretty quick to fight. It's a perfect name, I think. [Geez, calling your best friend out like that when she's not even here...] ... She's also done a very good job of protecting me so far. So it really is appropriate.

[Blitz struggles to break free for long enough that it looks like he actually wants to get away, then relaxes in Jean's arms and contents himself with glaring and scowling at the Tyranitar. You've made a powerful enemy today, friend, a very powerful enemy indeed.]
