Noctis is from the end of chapter five in the game so he knows that bad shit is going down but he doesn't know the full extent. Or, at least, he didn't until Ignis showed up. Being in Johto has really helped him mature and learn to take on responsibility more. And he's definitely opened up a lot more in terms of talking with others and extending hands of friendship. He's still a spoiled brat prince but he's nowhere near as bad as he once was.
Plans:
The only thing I have set in stone right now is that Noctis is going determined to get all of his badges for the Johto region and collect as many Magikarp water Pokemon as possible. I'm open to anything people may want him for because he can warp around the region since he's been through most of it already so visiting with people isn't an issue at all!

Location: In Pewter City with Korra~ They eventually want to make their way to the Sevii Islands.
Blurb:
In her canon, Cissnei is a member of the Turks which are basically the secret service for the President of the SHINRA corporation. They take care of all of his dirty work and act as body guards at the same time, extremely skilled in all manner of espionage, information gathering, fighting styles, weapon use, etc. Cissnei herself has been with the group since she was a child so all she really knows is her life as a Turk. That changed after she met and became friends with Zack and his death hit her hard. Coming straight out of the end of Crisis Core, Cissnei carries a lot of guilt over Zack's death though she carefully conceals it, focusing on learning everything she can about this new world. And collecting all the dog Pokemon she can.
Plans:
As of right now she's roadtripping through Kanto with Korra playing tourist! She's always up for chatting about Legendaries or anything else that may come up so feel free to hit her up anytime. Or come join the tourist adventure~

Blurb:
Vanitas is not a real boy. Well, at least he wasn't before he came to the Pokemon World. In canon, Vanitas is all of the negative emotions that were pulled out of Ventus and shaped into their own being by Master Xehanort. He is the reason that the Unversed exist and his soul purpose in life was to get stronger so he could re-merge with Ventus and forge the X-Blade. Yeah. Kingdom Hearts. Arriving in Johto, Vanitas ended up as a member of Team Rocket and he honestly finds them to be a big joke, though an actually entertaining one at times. He does his job for them but doesn't put a whole lot of effort into it, content to just travel around and cause trouble on his own.
Plans:
After getting to Blackthorn and spending some time there, he's probably going to head back to Mahogany and settle down there for a bit. I'm always up for having him run into people though or bother them on the network~ As long as you're okay with him being him. That being said, I do plan on him realizing that he's got a wider array of emotions now, at some point, and having a bit of a break down because of it because WHAT ARE EMOTIONS?!

Newt is a socially awkward and brilliant Magizoologist. He's a Hogwarts drop out but that didn't stop him from becoming one of the leading authorities on all things to do with Magical Creatures..well, at least that's what he will become. This version of Newt is still in the process of writing his book on magical creatures, having just finished up a tour in the United States and, as of the end of the movie, was preparing to head off to the next destination on his list of habitats to explore. He's enthralled with the idea of studying Pokemon while he's here and has no real plans to actually catch anything..or battle. He's just here to study.
Plans:
He's got every intention to travel to every corner of both region and learn about as many Pokemon as he can. He's pretty awkward but wouldn't say no to company, especially if you share his enthusiasm for learning about creatures big and small. Also, he loves interacting with Pokemon. Feel free to have your Pokemon engage him!

His injuries were grave and the princess had him taken to the Shrine of Resurrection in hopes that he would survive and wake again to defeat Ganon. One hundred years later he did wake..but his memories were gone and he had no idea where he was or even who he was. The gaps have slowly been filled in and thus far Link has reclaimed three of the Divine Beasts and freed the spirits of those Champions in the process.
Plans:
He is going to be all over the place. Seriously. This boy just wants to explore and while he is going to feel guilty about not being in Hyrule and finishing his task, he's going to take really well to the whole camping and traveling aspect of things.

Canon: That one zombie canon that won't just lay down and die
Location: Azalea with her friends
Blurb: Cheerful and friendly orphan (unless you count being guarded by a dog she raised herself after her grandpa died) with a history of repressing negative emotions and keeping personal details to herself, notoriously unlucky, bears the responsibility of many things on herself even though she really shouldn't. She always looks on the bright side! Well except when she gets frustrated with someone being annoying and gets snarky.

She likes dogs. And planting things. She grew her own food where she was from. She's also technically a clone made from mixing the genes of two donors together? Homestuck is weird.
Plans: Jade is kinda not in the most cheery of spirits since a good chunk of her friends (two of which she was dating) left but is trying to put it behind her because "oh well these things happen don't dwell on it." There is probably a girls' day out and exploring the Slowpoke Well in the future. Also her icons expired so I should probably do something about that. Maybe.

Location: She's somewhere in Kanto I think, I never actually determined where
Blurb: Your average teenager struggling to find her own identity and live life on her own after escaping from abusive guardians.

Is what the story would be if Xion was average, but she's not, she's a doll created to absorb memories/power from the Keybearer (aka Sora) and his Nobody. The most precious memories she absorbed and held onto were what shaped her appearance into what she looks like now, though other people saw and treated her differently (since she was just a tool made to be used and all) she had friends who saw her for who she "really" is inside.

She kinda had to die for the sake of the plot though so she did, voluntarily, it's that whole just and self-sacrifice thing Sora does you see. "Waking up" in a new place with concrete stability hasn't been an easy adjustment but it created an independent girl who really likes the ocean and has difficulties with controlling her emotions + determining what her identity is really. She also shares her face+voice with a few people because again, heart nonsense and cloning.
Plans: Shrug idk she's helping her Type Null adjust to life outside of the lab and hopefully helping him calm down his wobble walk (it's based on a neurological issue animals can be born with, so it's not going to get worse and isn't life threatening but won't exactly get better per se)

It usually ends up handwaved and all, but if anyone would be down for actually playing out the battling and strategy and everything, please let me know. Location: Currently in Cerulean city. They will be travelling around Kanto to get all the badges and I think they will start travelling again when all of our cast is off hiatus? Not 100% sure what route they will be taking.
Blurb: Small kid with big dreams and a big drive to travel in freedom. Had a big dream as a kid of travelling the world and seeing everything there is to see, starting (but not ending) with the ocean. But in addition to being a dreamer, he's also a pragmatic tactician who spends a lot of time thinking about everything, so he's got some solid Opinions and is down to debate. Comes from a not so fun world and he's a child soldier too (joined the army at 12, participated in his first battle at age 15) so yeah, he's got shades of PTSD and his opinions have very much been informed by how shit shit is back home. The sort of person who talks about throwing away his humanity if it will serve humanity (but at the same time, when it does actually happen, he struggles with it a lot more than expected). Still got shades of low self-esteem though he has been working on that.
Plans: Current long term plans are for him to first get all his badges (starting with Kanto), but while getting more and more interested in Pokemon research (particularly water Pokemon) and moving more towards that.

Blurb: A boisterous, happy go lucky kind of guy, Ash is a reckless whirlwind of a man with a genuine heart and a very relaxed stance towards the law. In his homeworld he is the adopted son of a selkie and is fully aware of the lengths his father has gone to provide for him, becoming a criminal for hire and risking his life continuously to keep a roof over their heads and food on their plates. In Johto, Ash is very much running wild without his Dad to keep him in check and trying to figure out what he's meant to do with himself, while amassing new friends and way too many Pokemon and being his usual goofy self.

Plans: On the 22nd/23rd of July, he's heading out towards Fuschia City! He'll be travelling from Saffron, to Celadon, then along the Cycling Road. It also means he's going to be caught out by the massive thunderstorm on Friday...but he'll be arriving there on the 3rd of August and staying there to try and find those surfing Pikachus he's heard about. Follow that, there's no plans for him and I'm undecided on whether he'll immediately return to Johto.

Canon: Silent Hill
Location: Heather is currently traveling through Kanto with Envy, questing for a full set of badges. They'll be tackling Cycling Road around the end of the week.
Blurb: Heather's what you could call an 'old-timer'-- she's been in the world of Pokemon for the better part of a decade, and fully considers it home at this point. While it's been a rocky journey, she's grown to be confident in her Pokemon (and in herself as a trainer), and generally has gotten to the point where taking on supportive or mentoring roles is coming more naturally than being the mentoree-- big change from when she first arrived! That's not to say that she doesn't still have her ongoing trauma issues, but as a general rule she's on solid ground. She's still a brash, fun-loving, rough-and-tumble scrapper with a (mostly) healthy sense of humor and a love of life. She's got a major soft spot for other kids who escaped (or... didn't escape) from abusive or traumatic situations in their home worlds, and easily falls into a "big sister" role.
Plans: Aside from a super-backdated Minimize Friday thread or two, Heather's big goal at the moment is obtaining the rest of the Kanto badges, and training up her "second volley" of newer Pokemon to match her tried-and-true fighters' levels and skills. ... AND ALSO MANAGING THE DRAMA AS BEST AS SHE CAN. Life is tough when you're both a survival-horror protagonist AND involved with a bunch of dramatic anime characters with dysfunctional family relationships.

Location: Goldenrod City. Wrath doesn't do a lot of traveling-- he tends to stick around the Rocket HQ and scamper around the city rather than go visiting elsewhere.
Blurb: Wrath is best described as a semi-reformed feral child. He's like 80 pounds of shaggy-haired, gangly-limbed awkwardness who still tends to struggle with everyday social or practical human needs. He picks things up fast, but very little about human life comes naturally. But he's mostly friendly, if a little creepy, and is curious and excited about the world around him. He gets around surprisingly well, running with his Pokemon as equals rather than subordinates to be commanded. Oh, and he also happens to have a violent streak, and is incredibly loyal to Team Rocket-- he has authority there, to boot. THE LITTLEST CRIMELORD.
Plans: Wrath seemingly leads a pretty charmed life, running amok around the city like a wild child with his Pokemon. Exploring, playing, and OF COURSE engaging in petty theft. However, big things are on the horizon for Wrath. After getting a promotion in the Team, he's determined to do more-- so he's been concocting a plan. No "public" details yet, but Rockets who wanna get in on it will find out soon enough!
OTHER THAN THAT, I'M GAME FOR WHATEVER WITH WRATH. He's a pretty endearing kid despite his obvious monstery nature, and generally is sweet and affectionate to people who are nice to him. But that's not to say he can't make enemies as well. Wrath is a fighter and he forms grudges quickly.

Location: Currently in Cerulean! As to where he's going in the future, it's a mystery.
Blurb: Did someone call for child soldiers? This guy here is the granddaddy of them all - the long version of it is he's been involved in a war for a majority of his life, and the short of it is he's been in the military since he was thirteen and has the PTSD that comes along with that. He's usually pretty soft-spoken and tends to keep a lot of his opinions to himself (depending on the situations), and it's easy for him to get swept up into the tide of popular opinion, even if it's something he doesn't want. Here in VR, he's been saddled as a breeder and has the unfortunate (or fortune) luck of ending up with Pokemon that either end up gigantic, large ones that end up being bigger than the norm, or small terrors. Sometimes small terrors that turn into huge hulking terrors.

He still doesn't understand the whole Pokemon Breeder thing, but he's doing his best!
Plans: Come August, his Aron is going to be evolving into an Aggron after months of being stubborn and staying in his first evolution, even after hitting the mid 50s in level. There may or may not be some chaos tied to that, but we'll see! Otherwise I don't think I have any solid plans for the upcoming future, though one of my eventual goals is to get him to Blackthorn. Let the boy have his mountain town.

Location: After the festival last month, Madoka has found her way to Goldenrod! She's probably going to stay here a little while, as it's a big city like she's used to and she feels more comfortable here. I could also see her saving up the money to hop the train to Saffron down the road.
Blurb: Madoka is super friendly, and is willing to help anyone out with pretty much anything! At this canon point, she's pretty self-conscious of her ability to actually be of any help, but that won't stop her from trying.

Madoka also has a stupid amount of hope for the good in the world so there's also that. Prove her wrong! She also has an Eevee named Lilly that is about the same as she is personality-wise.
Plans: The main thing I want Madoka (and her Eevee) to do is to go from the self-conscious, timid person she is now to the confident person she is at the end of the anime.

A lot of that will be training and becoming strong together, which I'm hoping her CR can help her with! But down the line, I'd like for someone to steal her Eevee. And I'd like for Madoka to be the one to fight to get it back.

Sort of all over - He ran briefly back to Violet from Azalea with Angel to pick up their buddy Gaige, then they all backtracked together even further to New Bark because Krieg thought Nisha was there and he wanted to fight her. He's finally hopping on the Gym Challenge, so once he makes sure Gaige has her feet under her he'll be making his way to Goldenrod for the Plain Badge with the rest of the Vault fam.

Blurb:
I have an in depth write-up about Krieg's mental state on his journal, for those unfamiliar with the BL universe and/or Krieg specifically.

To expand on what's included in that post above, eleven months (!!!) in Pokeland have done wonders for his overall mental health. He's more lucid, less violent, and much better able to express himself than he was when he was first brought into the game. Naturally there are still people and topics that trigger his violent anger (See: Handsome Jack, Nisha Kandam), but overall he's adapted very well to the life of a Pokemon trainer, and has even made some friends!

Plans:
OKAY SO: 2 things. Thing 1: Krieg's one year poké-versary is coming up on August 23rd. Thing 2: Krieg doesn't remember when his birthday is or how old he is. As such, I wish to combine these things, and give Krieg a little nod to how long he's been in game and the progress he's made, BUT - I need outside help in order to do so. Birthdays and anniversaries in general are not things Krieg has ever thought to attach any special significance to. If a friend is having a b-day party obviously he'll go to it, but he's not going to be planning one (or even really wanting one) for himself, so I need some of his CR to bring it up with him and get the ball rolling. The end result doesn't have to be a huge birthday bash or anything (though a log would be fun!); my end goal is really just to get him to acknowledge the anniversary.

He's a bit more serious and focused more on getting home than anything else due to circumstances but is open to making friends. Allies on the long journey never hurt.
Plans:
I have no specific plans at the moment. He's going to collect some pokemon, and probably talk about getting back home as he has a sense of responsibility stronger than the two he's travelling with NO OFFENSE, NOCTIS AND PROMPTO BUT HE GOT STUFF TO DO. But it doesn't mean he won't treat this as a permanent thing either! He just needs reasons to appreciate this new world.

Blurb: Jean turned sixteen in April and is very much a ridiculous, fumbling teenage boy. In his canon, he's a highly skilled, grizzled war veteran, but he's mellowed out quite a bit during his (almost) year in Pokemon world and has discovered new interests, like reading Pokemon versions of famous books and playing shepherd to a bunch of wayward Electrodes. He's also slowly developing his leadership skills, usually in regards to dealing with difficult Pokemon (PTSD recognizes PTSD, after all), but his skills at hitting on people haven't improved in the slightest, which I really, really enjoy playing out.
Plans: He'll eventually wander to the electric plant and release his Electrodes, then the AoT gang will probably make their way back to the Sevii Islands for the winter.

I'm very interested in this idea of Walter and Jean building up a friendship based on ghost types! And I'd love to have their ghosts interact more, since Walter's bunch are extremely varied. Maybe Jean could begin to pick up that there's something a bit 'off' about Walter? (I wouldn't know how to describe his issues but he's got a lot of trauma and it does show at times).

Also, Ash and Jean being goofy buddies/Ash adopting Jean into his fold. He's definitely decided Armin and Bert are 'his' in a sense and has made it clear to Bert that he's bi/doesn't care if people are gay or not!
