[You had to be kidding him. Finn had been trying to avoid Team Rocket. They hadn't been happy with him making a break for it as soon as he'd shown up and taking one of their Pokémon with them, even if the Zubat hadn't wanted to stay there either. Still, they weren't exactly the First Order, and being terrified hadn't exactly stopped him from fighting them. And Finn would never forgive himself if he let this guy's pet be kidnapped by Team Rocket's thugs.]

[The small Bat Pokémon lets out an unholy screech at the grunts' own Pokémon, causing one of them to promptly smack itself in the face.]

[Her trainer is at a loss. She doesn't usually roll off like this. She's usually more dependable. So he's calling for her, his Eevee sniffing around to try and find her...]

[Only to be attracted by Spheal barking, and hone in on the source.]

[What are you doing he almost says. Only to realize she's fighting Team Rocket. With another Spheal. And...]

[What's this? Is there rustling in the bushes? Surely not! Even if there was, it probably isn't anything important. Definitely not a waiting murderball, lurking behind the shrubbery, and watching. Waiting. Waiting to rain down electric doom upon the heads of any foolish enough to...]

[Yeah, no, as soon as the Rocket grunt steps foot off the bridge, Blitz the Electrode lunges out and rolls right into his shins, delivering a healthy zap and tripping him up in the process. The grunt goes flying, and Blitz descends on him, all wrath and fury and zapping.]

[Take that! And that! And another one!]

[GAAAAAAAAAAASP BABIES! Tiny egg babies! Well, turned human though this super duper party pony might be, the "super duper party" portion is still true! And this guy seems SO happy that she just HAS to help him celebrate! So yeah, here's a VERY pink girl showing up on screen!]

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Oh no wait, would that be when they hatch or now? Hm, kinda tricky, I guess, but we can figure that out later! In any case, HAPPY EGG DAY!!!

[Oh, hell no. Hell no, that isn't some Rocket Grunt picking on a Spheal! Absolutely not. Not allowed!]

[With a roar, an Incineroar leaps into the fray beside the Spheal, only pausing for a moment to flex mightily before lowering into a crouch and getting ready to deliver some pain. His trainer Jean is right behind him.]

[Because then Shiro would know he spent the entire day slacking off. No training. Or working on his breeding projects. Nothing remotely productive outside.

Shay finally manages to wriggle free. With an excited yip, she bounds over to Shiro and his Marowak. Hello friends!]

[This evening is most definitely NOT turning out the way he ever though it would. First, those jerk faces are trying to mug him. Now, there's a Electrode jumping the jerks from no where! Who knew being a breeder could be as terrifying as a trainer?

Almost tripping over his own feet, Hunk comes to a huffing and puffing stop off the bridge. Looking back he immediately tenses up seeing that electric ball teaching those losers a shocking lesson.]

Yeesh, where did that thing even from?!

Good. Don't worry about those guys -- Kuro and Haunter can handle them.

[As the pokemon in question proceed to do epic pokemon battle with the thugs' pokemon. It probably says something to how much Shiro trusts them that he doesn't even bother commanding them.]

[Has he been following Hunk?] No, we were training, before we head back to the house -- Skarmory heard you yelling.

[It's always great to meet someone so enthusiastic in this place. Hunk gives a cheerful laugh at her excitement.]

I think happy egg day works. Once they hatch, then totally lots of happy birthdays! Unless they don't all hatch at the same time. Oh man, I didn't think about that being a possibility. What if they hatch like one every couple of days? It could be an entire weeks worth of birthdays! That would be crazy!

[It's a good thing they have had the very long, circle-questioning round of explanation that was the name of Shiro's Gengar. Even though Hunk sometime's felt the need to bring it up again. Just because, really?]

Ahh, that's good. I mean, good that Skarmory heard me. 'Cause yeah, you know, I'm not really great at battling... still....

[He could be if he trained and practiced.]

[Makes you wonder if Cloudy Quartz wondered the same thing about multiple birthdays while carrying quadruplets. ~~Never mind the fact that she was casually breaking every single law of equine reproduction while doing so.~~ But for now, the idea just makes Pinkie even MORE excited!]

Oh my gosh, you're RIGHT! [GASP!] It'd be the biggest, bestest birthday week EVER! How long do you think it is before they hatch?! Have you started planning yet, do you need a party pony, I can totally be your party pony for this, I've NEVER done this many birthdays in a row for siblings before~!

[Shay is blissfully unaware of any talk about training. Instead, the Rockruff is focused on trying to get the bone Shiro's Marowak is holding. It looks tasty.]

[There's a lot to comment on in that short burst of party talk. However, one thing definitely stands out a lot more than the rest.]

Haunter named itself. I... can't argue with it at this point.

[Yeah, and Haunter also refuses to be called anything other than "it". Mostly because Haunter thinks "it" sounds more mysterious.]

[Moving on, however, he nods.]

Sure, we can. They should be done in a minute. [As Yellow, the Marowak, yelps, and ducks behind Shiro.]

[Hearing the yelp, Hunk turns his attention down towards the ground, and frowns.]

Hey, Shay, stop that! Leave poor Yellow alone!

[It still feels weird calling the skull wearing creature Yellow. Namely because Yellow is a huge, mechanical cat. His huge, mechanical cat that he misses quite a bit. Of course, he rarely dwells on the fact that naming his Rockruff after his sweet, admirable alien rock not-girlfriend girl friend is also probably kind of weird.

However, Shay doesn't seem that keen to listen to her trainer. Instead she continues to harass poor Yellow, following after him as he tries to hide. Groaning softly, Hunk gets down on his knees and grabs for her, pulling her away despite all her wiggling.]

You are being a very bad rock puppy right now, missy!

[He missed you guys. He really, really did. Hence why three of his pokemon are named after the Lions -- four, if you count Kuro.]

Easy! She's not going to hurt you! You two are the same type, even!

[As he does his best to step between the excited puppy and his Marowak. That seems like it's the best option right now -- get between them, block them like you would any other pair of overly excited animals.]

Maybe we should skip battle training and work on "sit" or "stay!"

[Finally, the poor Marowak scampers away. Literally climbing up Kuro's back and huddling behind the Aggron's crest as Kuro lumbers back from victory.]

BLITZ!

[Where did he come from, indeed. This is a question for the ages. How does Blitz move from one place to another? By rolling is the obvious answer, but the way he manages to get the drop on thugs and evade his trainer is another matter entirely.]

[By now, said trainer has caught up with the fierce Electrode, running right into the battle and grabbing him up into his arms like a furious, sentient beachball.]

Blitz, we've talked about this! NO ATTACKING TRAINERS! ONLY POKEMON!

[The Electrode thrashes in Jean's arms, trying to get away and be put down. Okay, fine, he'll leave the trainers alone! Let him get at their Pokemon! These are Rocket Grunts, Dumb Narrow! They put his girlfriend in a cage and used her like a battery!]

Shiro!

[Matt can't help a huge grin. Kerberos seems to catch his enthusiasm, and does another ice beam that makes one of the Rockets' Pokémon faint. The Spheal's trainer grins widely.]

Good job, Kerberos. Now let's take out these goons so that we can talk.

[Matt turns, slightly startled, but smiles at the help.]

Thanks, Princess. These guys don't seem to know that stealing's bad.

[Kerberos waves a flipper at his new companion, rolling a bit before launching another attack.]

[Matt turns, startled, but smiles at the newcomer, waving cheerfully.]

Thanks for the help. I think these guys don't like my face or something.

[The Rockets grumble, glaring at Finn before launching attacks of their own. Spheal burbles a cheerful greeting to the Zubat.]

[Woah. Now that's a Fire-type. Spheal's eyes go wide for a moment, but he stands his ground, firing off another ice beam.]

It's ok, Kerberos! He's a friend.

[Matt nods a thanks to the newcomer.]

Thanks for the help. These jerks think they can just take pokemon.

I am~! Well, I guess I'm not really a PONY right now- I kinda got turned into a human when I got here- but I'm still 100% party pony on the inside, AND I'm still super duper at throwing parties here! [She gives the screen a wave.] My name's Pinkie Pie, nice to meet you! What's your name?

[She gives Matt a nod before turning back to Marill to issue more commands.]

Tail Whip, and then Tackle after Spheal!
