[ It was queer, travelling with Balthier - but not in the bad way. Basch had gotten quite attached to it, in his own way - looking at the thieving Pokemon, with a slight bit of disapproval.

Of course, he did note the Sableye was gripping to a familiar necklace he'd gotten crafted out of a Star Piece - one he was to go and pick up soon. Something he'd need to go and sort out later.

But, for now, he looked to Balthier, with the slightest of disapproving looks. ]

...They do not know better.

Oh now don't give me that look, Basch. It's just a bit of harmless fun.

[Balthier graces the other man with a grin as he reaches under the table, holding a hand out to the Sableye. There's a bit of grumbling before the necklace is dropped into the sky pirate's hand and he presents it to the other man in a bit of a flourish.]

There are worse things they could be doing, after all.

[ It wasn't always the case Basch approved of this kind of fun. Or the kind of fun Balthier carried - though it was tempting, at times.

Giving what seemed to be his own form of a smirk, Basch took it, and examined it. The necklace still in his hand, he nodded a little. Now how could he present it as a gift? ] They could be going after targets who would fight back.
