[Internally, Fushimi's eyes were rolling back into his head. He hadn't realized this was going to lead into a full blown conversation.

This is what happened when you extended mild politeness.]

I'M JUNGLE.

[The Rotom zips forward, ignoring Fushimi's social cues. It was going to introduce itself regardless of what Fushimi wanted.]

Jungle.

[Sorry, this is also mr. what are social cues.]

Hello Jungle. What sort of pokemon are you?

[He'd bring up his gear but he'd gotten yelled at a few time for doing that to strangers pokemon. Weird, must be a social thing.]

A Rotom!

[ He zips to and fro to show off his electrical prowess. See? He wasa good Pokemon.

Fushimi clicks his tongue again, shifting his weight to his opposite leg. He was leaning a bit away from the man now. ]

It's easier to just use the gear.

Oh, I'll show you!

[Jungle flashes into Fushimi's gear and it soon is a Rotomdex, floating up to present itself.]

[Then Jungle plays the Rotom entry for the man, smiling all the while.

Not quite what Fushimi meant.]

[He smiles.]

I tried scanning a few peoples pokemon to see what they were but they started yelling at me. I think they thought I was trying to steal them so I figured that might not be a thing you did here.

[He's still not clear on the laws here. Aside from their police forces apparent use of cloning...somehow. He's not a fan of how weak the force seems, giant monsters or not. He can see too many ways it could be ripped apart.]

[ Jungle sparks happily as he leaves the gear. Fushimi catches it before it falls and replaces it on his belt.]

So? Who cares. The gear logs can be read. You can't steal a Pokemon that way anyway.

[ So they yelled. So what? They couldn't stop someone from scanning. Of course there was always the option of asking first but that seemed a waste of time.]

Mmm...they were rather agitated. My doctor says it's best if I avoid things like that.

[Or the police. But he usually didn't follow that last bit.]

I'll have to stick to looking them up.

So why we're you trying to steal one? I'm curious, you can just catch them here, can't you. Or do you not like battling?

[ Sure that was normal. Doctors warning people of things. Clearly this guy was off his rocker.

Still seemed friendly enough. If he acted crazy then maybe he'd be more interesting.]

It takes too long. Easier to just take a high level one. It's about working smart, not harder.

[ And the profit to be made as well..]

[You have no idea. He doesn't seem put off talking about crime casually though.]

You're not worried about the police? They don't seem to have the usual spree of killers and murders here. I would expect that gives them more time to look into petty crimes like theft.....or would that be animal trafficking?

Who knows. They would have to be able to prove it. As far as I see, my Rotom was playing around.

[ He shrugs, opening his hands palms up as he rocks on his heels. He saw nothing illegal happen. He could deny it all and never be caught. ]

And I do need to get that ball latch fixed. It's tricky.

[He nods thoughtfully. That is true, most likely. He doubts a police force ~~that inept~~ that...well he doesn't have enough information on them to judge them really they're probably all working hard. But honestly. This team rocket group seems rather ~~boring~~... ~~amateurish~~.... where is the blood and chaos and fun and..ignoring those thoughts...but they still don't seem to have done much....either group.]

Have you come in contact with them before? The police here I mean. I'm doing a study on them.

[ Of course not. Fushimi could cover his tracks well enough that they could literally watch him rob someone and still not be able to prove if.

If only he cohld get the algorithm and code right for the Pokemon themselves...]

I was part of a police force back home. Easy enough to read them here.

[Now that is interesting. He wonders if you were corrupt back then too. ~~Probably~~ Possibly.]

What part of the police did you work with? I consult with the police back home, myself. Mostly serial murders or violent crime.

[He sighs.]

They don't seem to have that here though. Not much need for my services.

[ Fushimi tilts his head, eyeing the man for a long moment. He was awfully interested in the police and crime. It made sense considering what he stated his history was but.. Maybe it was just Fushimi being anti-social to be honest. ]

Scepter 4. We dealt with magical beings.

[ He tucks his hands partially in his pockets, head leaning back a bit as he thought to himself. ]

It's peaceful here. Boring. You could always provide the supply for the demand, of course.

Magical-

[Wait....oh no..no. His hand is on his head now, like he's suddenly got a headache at the very suggestion... and he's...no! ~~don't encourage him...~~]

Oh...no...no no no no...I could never do that...

[Never again,....he refuses..he won't.]

That would be ...wrong.

[ ...Okay. This guy was a little.. Well, he could prod and see where the crazy went, how deep the river flowed... ]

Well, mostly Strains. Errant magical beings... Or other clansmen that are breaking the laws, starting fights..

[ He tilts his head at the man, smirking slightly. ]

Do you have experience with that kind of thing?

[~~It flows into an ocean boy, be careful you don't drown.~~]

Experience?

[~~So much you pathetic little child, Madder Red would be wearing your head as a hat by now~~ His head hurts. He needs his pills. However he manages to slip a smile on and a laugh.]

Just with helping the police....you see a lot....with them.

[And his smile is honest. ~~It's a lie but it's honest, Fillmore Press is a walking contradiction. His darker side merely a toothless shadow that occasionally haunted him. ...that was all.]~~

I suppose I'll just have to see if they need any help with lesser crimes, since the bigger ones don't seem to be a thing here.

[ Fushimi walks closer to Fillmore, reaching up to brush something that wasn't there off the man's shoulder. He was a little more interesting now, with that nervousness about him. ]

So you work for a force like Scepter 4? Interesting. Unfortunate the police here are inept. You're sure to do some good.

[ Petty theft and vandalism would surely get boring very quickly. It often wasn't hard to find out who did the crimes since so many seemed to be comfortable with taking vocal claim. ]

That's good....

[He's still but the Mimikyu on his shoulder seems to sense his agitation and goes to smack away Fushimi's hand before Fillmore quickly holds up his own hand to stop her. Very quickly in fact. The black tendril hitting his hand as he turns his attention to her. His agitation dropping as he talks to the pokemon.]

Ramira, what did we discuss? Violence is for battles. We do not hurt people.

I doubt she would hurt me too badly.

[ Jungle appears a second later, zipping behind the Mimikyu. Fushimi holds up his hand to stop it from shocking Ramira for no reason. ]

You act as if doing good is something you aren't used to.

Still...we've had talks about this.

[Ramira seems chastised and draws her tendril in. Shuffling closer to Fillmore.]

Oh no. It's not...or a least officially with important things. I only recently started working with the police. Before that I just had a boring lab job, then ...well....small stress-related breakdown for a few years. But I'm doing much better now, and now I get to help people.

[He's smiling again. He sounds enthusiastic about this.]

[ That didn't even sound real. Or at least made the man sound rather weak minded. If the job was boring where was the stress coming from? And for it to be that bad? It sounded like a lie. ]

[It is a huuuuge lie. But he has all the files and paperwork for it...or at least he did.]

....hmmm...that's a good point. To be honest. It's not easy to remember those days all that well....probably for the best!

[He's got nightmares of those days. Thinking of those days, the real ones ....agitate.]

Besides, my doctor says we should look to the future, not the past. After all, you can't change the past but you can make the present a better place.

[ Fushimi sighed, reaching up to adjust his glasses then rub his forehead. This guy... was becoming boring again. ]

Sounds like a cliche. The past is what builds you. Why forget about it?

[ Perhaps that would agitate the man a little. If not.. then it didn't matter. Fushimi had other things that needed doing. ]

[Meanwhile Fillmore is just thinking he should probably let this one go, he was an agitator. Maybe he'd pass on a warning to the police. It depended on what his findings were and if they trusted anonymous tips, he supposed. In the meanwhile he smiles.]

A matter of opinion I suppose. I'd better get going though, I have some things to finish and Ramira needs some training.

[And he'll walk off. Because if there's one thing he has to keep to here, without his pills, or his doctors, is keeping his past away. ~~Monsters or not. This place would crumble if Madder Red was truly let loose.~~]
