"I mean, kinda yeah and kinda no! I haven't ridden many Pokemon around; Crash is easy cos he's pretty big and I've had him since he was an egg. But I got a Rapidash named Amalthea, and I'm still learning how to ride her without trouble. I keep falling off or nudging her wrong." He spoke sheepishly about his experiences riding Pokemon. Cos yeah, he still sucked at riding a Rapidash. Crash was easier, but it was partly cos he was a sturdy, kind of a 'rough-n-tumble' Pokemon, so if Ash grabbed him or suddenly pulled he took it in his stride.

He gave Roxas a smile, slipping off Crash to properly meet him and patting his side. Roxas nudged his side affectionately, knocking Ash to the side. Which Ash also took in stride. They were well matched. "Here, I hadn't ridden a bike much before either. And when I did, it ended up getting crushed to bits by a stampede on the Cycling Road."

The nobody nodded along as if he knew what the man was referring to when he said the names of pokemon. He'd probably learn eventually, but right now it was all just a jumble of words with no real meaning to him.

"That doesn't sound fun..." He missed his skateboard, though he knew even that wasn't the best way to get around. It wouldn't do him any good outside of the city, really. Watching the big beast with its master was sort of endearing, and Roxas couldn't help but marvel at their apparent bond.

"A stampede of what?" He asked cautiously. Of course, Ash was going to say some name he didn't recognize, but he could at least commit that name to memory and avoid whatever Ash said.

"Zebstrika! Basically take a zebra and get it fully jumped up with electricity. Then take an entire herd of them, have a massive thunderstorm push em to eleven and then have the herd go charging down a long, straight road with no turns or nooks you can hide in. That's what happened to me." He smiled and began to weave his story to Roxas.

"I'd hopped off the bike to try and get out of the rain for a bit and dry off. Luckily I had several Pokemon with me; they noticed the stampede before I did. My Rapidash, she was just a Ponyta then, warned everyone and led the way, and Crash got me on his back and charged down with her. He couldn't outrun them but being on his back meant I didn't get crushed, and the bike was probably trampled to dust. He took their shocks like it was nothing and when they passed, he let me ride him until we made it to the next town." Ash spoke with all the charm of a storyteller, and on telling how Crash had helped saved his life, knelt and gave his head a hug. Crash snorted and nuzzled into him happily.

"Like, it really wasn't fun at the time. But I wasn't too badly hurt, just a bit shaken and I got hit by some stray sparks from the Zebstrika, thanks to this big doofus."
