[Holy crap. Holy crap you're back!
And she looked like hell.
Noctis was both relieved to see her and worried by how absolutely wrecked she looked, Bean leaning down behind him to peer at the screen as well. She, unlike her trainer, went right for worry as she rumbled at Sasha.
Little girl what happened to you??]
No you can't eat those--where are you? New Bark? I can come meet you there, I can bring extra supplies.
no subject
As for that question, everything. Everything happened to her. Where does she even start, Bean?]
Noctis?
[Her second reaction is the frown splits into a stupid grin. It's Noctis! Someone who isn't from home is still here. And remembered her! Just as well since Sasha could never forget that mop of messy hair and piercing blue eyes and he doesn't even have a million Magikarp around him to remind her of who he is: the prince that isn't a jerk.]
Yes, just outside of it. I didn't go far. [Only because she couldn't wait much longer to destroy that bento.] Where are you?
no subject
Olivine City but I can use the warp pads to get over there easy enough. It won't take me that long. [Plus, he'd do anything for a friend. Especially one that he hadn't seen in along time; one that had obviously been through some shit.
Despite his worry he can't help but smile at her.] It's good to see you again, by the way. It's been way too quiet without you around here.
no subject
That sounds far... But okay! I'll be here. I don't have anywhere to go anyway.
[She wonders if the boys are still here. They were all there back when they split up to warn the villagers about the incoming horde, but Sasha hasn't checked to see if any of them managed to escape to here. How long has it been anyway?]
Without me? [She's pointing to herself as if Noctis is speaking to someone else.]
no subject
[Plus, she was a friend so he was willing to make the trip.]
Yeah without you. [He enjoyed talking to you a lot more than he probably let you know, Sasha. But he's going to make sure to change that this time around.] Oh, man, remind me to show you pictures of the Squad when I get there.
[He grins now, clearly moving as he heads outside so he can get on the road, Bean following along behind him.]
You're not going to believe how many Magikarp I have now.
no subject
But you had other people to talk to! Like um... I forgot his name, but he had one of those camera things? Him! How could it be quiet when you could talk to him?
[Prompto, she means. The guy with the blond weird hair. Gods, Noctis, do all of your people from your world have weird hair?]
How many? Five?
[Oh honey, Sasha. Try some multiplication on that number because Noctis has a problem.]
no subject
Yeah but none of the other people I had to talk to were you, specifically. Just because I still had friends here doesn't mean I didn't miss the ones that left.
[Face it, Sasha. The prince considers you a friend.
And now his expression turns into something akin to a deer caught in the headlights before it edges into sheepish territory, Noctis clearing his throat as he glances off to the side.]
Ah...more like twenty something...maybe thirty?
no subject
[Well, when he puts it that way, it hits hard. In a good way. In the way that makes Sasha blush a little and look away sheepishly as well, rubbing the back of her neck. No one's really said anything like that before. She's so used to being an outsider, the kind of person whose presence people wouldn't mind not having.
But this new feeling a girl could get used to.]
I'm sorry, then. For leaving.
[It's not like that was her choice, but the least she can do is apologize for doing it regardless, leaving behind a friend she never realized she had.
A friend who clearly has a problem with Magikarps.
Sasha frowns, clearly confused at his reply.]
Are you selling them?
[Because he's sure ain't eating them, so someone with that many has to be making bank off them, right?]
