[To be completely honest? Noctis was use to having to wait on Prompto and he didn't really mind. Ever since they had woken up in this strange place the other had been taking pictures practically non-stop.

He was currently standing in the middle of the path while he waited for his companion to snap pictures of some fishermen, his Munchlax waddling around him in a circle, happily repeating "Munch munch munch~" to itself as it went. A somewhat fond smile touched Noctis's lips before he looked over to where Prompto was, hands going to his hips as he saw the other finally returning.]

I didn't think you'd ever have enough pictures.

[ He was glad Noct was here, at the very least. It made him feel a little better - his Prince was here. He hadn't somehow... messed up. ]

Of course I don't! I mean... we've got to show the others what they're missing out on.

[ Prompto is sure it's a matter of time until the four are together. Making memories. He's got his same smile, as he kneels down a little - so that he can catch both Pokemon and trainer in photo. ]

Ready?

I'm sure they'll get a kick out of all of them.

[A part of him sincerely hoped that Gladio and Ignis were somewhere in this place too; that maybe they just had missed one another's posts on the network or something.

Another part of him doubted they were there but he did his best to ignore that voice.

His Munchlax seemed to realize what Prompto was doing and let out a happy "Muncha!" and struck a pose, which got a chuckle out of Noctis who struck a pose of his own.]

Ready when you are.

Hey, I can forward them all when we find 'em! Maybe not that one with the Gyarados, though...

[ he kept that photo where noct fished up a gyarados and then was knocked into the water.

And there's the flash, a few snaps taken in quick succession. He stands soon after, giving a head nuzzle to the Munchlax. ]

And... there! Good as always - both of you!

[ A pause, as he's looking it over. He lets out a small hm, before talking to himself. ]

...Well, it could have been a little darker. Your clothes almost look grey right now. [ look back! ] We'll need to come back here later, if you're up for it? Gotta catch your best side!

[Noctis nodded and rested a hand on his Munchlax's head.]

Sounds like a plan. On both accounts.

[He really didn't want to think about the Gyarados incident ever again...because next time he was totally going to actually land it okay.

Both Bean--his Munchlax and he was not responsible for the name okay--and Noctis watched Prompto look over the picture and the prince had to stifle a chuckle, giving the other a shrug.]

I don't mind. Want to head into town for a bit and then we can come back? I want to stock up on supplies.

[ Hey, Prompto is still wavering on name of his Type: Null. But he is super defensive over calling her that name. Or an it.

But he's trying not to think about that. No. He can focus on this. He gives an overenthusiastic nod, putting a hand to his starter. (He also lets her out of her Pokeball a lot - it must be horrible to be trapped somewhere so small. Empathy and all that.) ]

Sure! I could always use some food, too - can you believe people are paying me to take their photos?

[ noct noct he's a pro now!!! ]

[Hey, it's not like Noctis is any better at keeping his starter in it's pokeball. More often than not Bean is right there waddling along beside them as they travel.

Some of the others stay in their pokeballs but only because they're aquatic.]

You're a good photographer, Prompto. It's not surprising people want to give you money for the shots you take.

[Noctis grinned and draped an arm around the other as they started to walk.]

Guess I need to find some source of income now...

[ And this is why they need to get a pool if they get a house.

Well, when. It might be nice to have a place to themselves here. But he's got an honest smile for a moment - they really are that good, huh?

...He's really a professional at something. He slightly rubs his arm, though, as he feels Noctis' against his. Oh boy... ]

Pity you can't just go selling the fish you find, huh? Then we'd both be set. [ There's a pause. ] You ever... considered taking the Badge Challenge?

[ If anybody here was strong enough for it, it was Noctis. And besides, they were going from town to town anyway. ]

[Yes. A huge pool because Noctis plans on having as many water pokemon as he can manage because have you seen some of them, Prompto? Have you seen how absolutely adorable they are??

Not that he's been gushing over them or anything.]

Yeah..I wouldn't want to sell Pokemon though. Not like that. [It'd be weird since they're practically pets.] The badge challenge? Oh, you mean the thing with the gyms?

[Hm.]

I hadn't really given it much thought.

[ He has seen and photographed how adorable they are. And sometimes has been known to come and try and pet them.

But Prompto does prefer the... non-scaly ones. The cute fluffers. He really needs to capture more. ]

I mean... don't people who do that get paid for winning? [ Even if so many others have already taken on the gyms. Gotten all the badges. Proven they're... worthy of whatever is thought of as worthy in this world.

No, Prompto hasn't been overthinking the Gym Challenge. Not at all. ] Plus, wouldn't it look good for the Prince to be the very best, like no-one ever was?

[The scaly ones are just as cuddly! How dare you, sir!]

True..I didn't think about that. [It just meant actually having to train his Pokemon properly. Actually capture some more to be apart of his team.

So much work.]

Now you're just trying to stroke my ego. [It came out in a drawl as Noctis bumped his hip into Prompto's.] You'd help? Train, I mean.

[ They are 90% as cute. :B

But he almost looks offended - in that joking way. ]

Of course I'd help, Noct! I've been looking into them myself - thinking of seeing the Gym Leaders at least.

[ He says, with a little laugh as he's bumped into - moving a little closer to Noctis. (He couldn't beat them. Even if he wanted to take on the Elite Four themselves someday, to at least show that he did. Who knows how long they have here, before going back to where they came from?) ]

...Unless you want me to be the breadwinner.

[ yes he used that term on purpose ]

[No they are totally 100% cute. :P

Noct's lips curve into a playful grin.]

Then I guess it wouldn't be such a bad thing to try out.

[He sways with the bump and rolls his eyes, hooking his arm around Prompto a bit tighter to keep him close to his side as he leans in playfully.]

Maybe I do.

[Yes there might be the faintest blush on his cheeks because he's not good at being playful like this but he's trying!]

[ Oh! You've got him blushing now. And he's always cute when he blushes - but he also thinks Noct is just the cutest when he's blushing. (Luckily, he's not caught in a blush cycle pattern yet - no, he's just happily walking along.) ]

And besides - if it doesn't suit you, there's so much to do here! Nobody's forcing us to do anything.

[ what he's saying is that he is okay with being the breadwinner if noctis wants it. Make him feel useful.

He then suddenly stops to hug Noctis a little closer, his smile growing bigger. (He almost went for a peck on the cheek. But he's too embarrassed.) ]

It's nice.

Yeah it's--it's kind of nice.

[He's well aware that he still has obligations back home; that he needs to find his way back eventually but he's kind of enjoying this. The ease of things.]

We can pretty much do whatever we want and I doubt anyone would get mad at us, as long as we weren't causing problems.

[The hug is one he's happy to return, a faint smile touching his lips as he bumps his head against Prompto's.]

Really nice.

[ They don't need to think about what they need to do at home, and yet... sometimes (a lot of the time), Promptos' thoughts lingered on there.

...Would he be missed, if he'd not been told multiple times time stopped there? Sure, Noct'd be, but him?

However, his thoughts were interrupted by the headbump - and Prompto returned to his grin, pulling but a bit closer - as they walked, he gave a slight look to some passing trainers - before laughing again. ]

...Sssstill wish we had some better transport, though.

[ Hey, at least he'll keep fit. But with all the stuff just the two of them need to carry now, as well! (Oh, when he gets a ridable bird.) ]

[No thinking like that, Prompto. It's not allowed.

And if he finds out that you are thinking like that, he's going to set up camp and make you cuddle with him....or something.

Yeah.]

One of us will eventually end up with a Pokemon big enough to ride. And once Bean evolves she'll be pretty big.

[But probably still lazy.]

[ nuuu not the cuddle camps, truly the most savage punishment how dare you

He looks back to the Munchlax, however, and gives a slight smile. ] I wonder how our Pokemon will evolve? [ he's been avoiding spoilers for evolution okay.

a little. (okay he couldnt find info on his dear Null-friend.) A pause, before he feels that they've stepped into town. Okay, time to look his best. ]

...Either way - until then, I was thinking of seeing if anybody out there could catch us something big and ridable.
