[ Well, there's Prompto. People-watching. Not just people, but Pokemon. So many of them are strong and have been here for so much longer... how could he catch up? Could he ever catch up - he was an outsider, for one. And of the outsiders, why him?

But now he's coming up to you - with his camera, of course. ] Hey, mind if I take a picture of you and your Pokemon? I'm collecting pictures of trainers. [ Maybe it'll help him understand. ]

Hey, what stops these monsters from turning on us, anyway? They're stronger then us - and they have their own forms of magic! I mean, my friend here [ type: null is a friend okay and he doesn't like calling it by that name, why would an experiment be called by its' name :T ] is pretty good at protecting me, but they're just one girl.

...Also, is there any bug repellent out there in a future city? Not related.

[ ...Totally related. As he is bunkering down from a swarm of Beedrill, terrified, as his Pokemon fight. Don't ask him how he got into this. ]

[To be completely honest? Noctis was use to having to wait on Prompto and he didn't really mind. Ever since they had woken up in this strange place the other had been taking pictures practically non-stop.

He was currently standing in the middle of the path while he waited for his companion to snap pictures of some fishermen, his Munchlax waddling around him in a circle, happily repeating "Munch munch munch~" to itself as it went. A somewhat fond smile touched Noctis's lips before he looked over to where Prompto was, hands going to his hips as he saw the other finally returning.]

I didn't think you'd ever have enough pictures.

[ He was glad Noct was here, at the very least. It made him feel a little better - his Prince was here. He hadn't somehow... messed up. ]

Of course I don't! I mean... we've got to show the others what they're missing out on.

[ Prompto is sure it's a matter of time until the four are together. Making memories. He's got his same smile, as he kneels down a little - so that he can catch both Pokemon and trainer in photo. ]

Ready?

I'm sure they'll get a kick out of all of them.

[A part of him sincerely hoped that Gladio and Ignis were somewhere in this place too; that maybe they just had missed one another's posts on the network or something.

Another part of him doubted they were there but he did his best to ignore that voice.

His Munchlax seemed to realize what Prompto was doing and let out a happy "Muncha!" and struck a pose, which got a chuckle out of Noctis who struck a pose of his own.]

Hey, I can forward them all when we find 'em! Maybe not that one with the Gyarados, though...

[ he kept that photo where noct fished up a gyarados and then was knocked into the water.

And there's the flash, a few snaps taken in quick succession. He stands soon after, giving a head nuzzle to the Munchlax. ]

And... there! Good as always - both of you!

[ A pause, as he's looking it over. He lets out a small hm, before talking to himself. ]

...Well, it could have been a little darker. Your clothes almost look grey right now. [ look back! ] We'll need to come back here later, if you're up for it? Gotta catch your best side!

[Noctis nodded and rested a hand on his Munchlax's head.]

Sounds like a plan. On both accounts.

[He really didn't want to think about the Gyarados incident ever again...because next time he was totally going to actually land it okay.

Both Bean--his Munchlax and he was not responsible for the name okay--and Noctis watched Prompto look over the picture and the prince had to stifle a chuckle, giving the other a shrug.]

I don't mind. Want to head into town for a bit and then we can come back? I want to stock up on supplies.

[ Hey, Prompto is still wavering on name of his Type: Null. But he is super defensive over calling her that name. Or an it.

But he's trying not to think about that. No. He can focus on this. He gives an overenthusiastic nod, putting a hand to his starter. (He also lets her out of her Pokeball a lot - it must be horrible to be trapped somewhere so small. Empathy and all that.) ]

Sure! I could always use some food, too - can you believe people are paying me to take their photos?

[ noct noct he's a pro now!!! ]

[Hey, it's not like Noctis is any better at keeping his starter in it's pokeball. More often than not Bean is right there waddling along beside them as they travel.

Some of the others stay in their pokeballs but only because they're aquatic.]

You're a good photographer, Prompto. It's not surprising people want to give you money for the shots you take.

[Noctis grinned and draped an arm around the other as they started to walk.]

Guess I need to find some source of income now...

[ And this is why they need to get a pool if they get a house.

Well, when. It might be nice to have a place to themselves here. But he's got an honest smile for a moment - they really are that good, huh?

...He's really a professional at something. He slightly rubs his arm, though, as he feels Noctis' against his. Oh boy... ]

Pity you can't just go selling the fish you find, huh? Then we'd both be set. [ There's a pause. ] You ever... considered taking the Badge Challenge?

[ If anybody here was strong enough for it, it was Noctis. And besides, they were going from town to town anyway. ]

[Yes. A huge pool because Noctis plans on having as many water pokemon as he can manage because have you seen some of them, Prompto? Have you seen how absolutely adorable they are??

Not that he's been gushing over them or anything.]

Yeah..I wouldn't want to sell Pokemon though. Not like that. [It'd be weird since they're practically pets.] The badge challenge? Oh, you mean the thing with the gyms?

[Hm.]

I hadn't really given it much thought.

[ He has seen and photographed how adorable they are. And sometimes has been known to come and try and pet them.

But Prompto does prefer the... non-scaly ones. The cute fluffers. He really needs to capture more. ]

I mean... don't people who do that get paid for winning? [ Even if so many others have already taken on the gyms. Gotten all the badges. Proven they're... worthy of whatever is thought of as worthy in this world.

No, Prompto hasn't been overthinking the Gym Challenge. Not at all. ] Plus, wouldn't it look good for the Prince to be the very best, like no-one ever was?

[The scaly ones are just as cuddly! How dare you, sir!]

True..I didn't think about that. [It just meant actually having to train his Pokemon properly. Actually capture some more to be apart of his team.

So much work.]

Now you're just trying to stroke my ego. [It came out in a drawl as Noctis bumped his hip into Prompto's.] You'd help? Train, I mean.

[ They are 90% as cute. :B

But he almost looks offended - in that joking way. ]

Of course I'd help, Noct! I've been looking into them myself - thinking of seeing the Gym Leaders at least.

[ He says, with a little laugh as he's bumped into - moving a little closer to Noctis. (He couldn't beat them. Even if he wanted to take on the Elite Four themselves someday, to at least show that he did. Who knows how long they have here, before going back to where they came from?) ]

...Unless you want me to be the breadwinner.

[ yes he used that term on purpose ]

[No they are totally 100% cute. :P

Noct's lips curve into a playful grin.]

Then I guess it wouldn't be such a bad thing to try out.

[He sways with the bump and rolls his eyes, hooking his arm around Prompto a bit tighter to keep him close to his side as he leans in playfully.]

Maybe I do.

[Yes there might be the faintest blush on his cheeks because he's not good at being playful like this but he's trying!]

[ Oh! You've got him blushing now. And he's always cute when he blushes - but he also thinks Noct is just the cutest when he's blushing. (Luckily, he's not caught in a blush cycle pattern yet - no, he's just happily walking along.) ]

And besides - if it doesn't suit you, there's so much to do here! Nobody's forcing us to do anything.

[ what he's saying is that he is okay with being the breadwinner if noctis wants it. Make him feel useful.

He then suddenly stops to hug Noctis a little closer, his smile growing bigger. (He almost went for a peck on the cheek. But he's too embarrassed.) ]

It's nice.

[ Chris and his Stufful are idling by the lakefront just outside of town when they're first approached. The sound of moving grass prompting them both to look up. And while his pokémon nearly coos excitedly at the sight of a camera, Chris picks himself up from his spot before dusting off his pants. ]

Pictures? [ There's a pause on his end as he considers the offer. Judging from looks alone Prompto could just be another trainer, although after several small run-ins with Rocket members Chris had grown to be a little wary of others. That said, he and Stufful could handle most situations by now despite the latter's rather small size and.. appearance. ] Guessing this is a hobby of yours?

[ ...oh my gosh is that a living stuffed toy

Prompto tries to remain looking to the trainer, but... oh gosh so cute! ]

It is! Both here and home - have to show off when I go home, right?

[ His Type: Null, however, is giving a wary look. ]

[ That's usually the first reaction others have when seeing his pokémon, but Chris has done a good job so far with warning them about Stufful's temper. Luckily, neither Prompto or his partner have gotten in its space or attempted a few headpats just yet. Though Chris does have to wonder about the other's pokémon. Judging from its appearance and behavior, Chris is nearly tempted to ask if he could scan it with his Gear.

However, that could come after all the picture-taking. Considering Prompto's response; he was more or less an arrival much like himself. After shooting the other a small smile, Chris gives a nod before replying. ]

Right. Best keep them safe then if you plan on taking a few during your stay. [ Leaning down, he gingerly picks up his Stufful. It flails a bit in his arms, but eventually settles with a small noise once it positions itself to hang over Chris' forearm. ] I haven't caught any others, unfortunately. Hope you don't mind it being just me and Stufful for ya'.

Hey, more then fine - we're meant to bond the most with our... starters, right? I haven't caught any others yet, either.

[ not because he finds pokeballs a bit creepy and scary

But there he is, kneeling and taking the picture with a smile. Afterwards, though, he pauses and then smiles, reaching a hand for the Stufful. ]

Do you know how our first companions were chosen, then?

[ Flashing Prompto another smile for the picture, he keeps his Stufful in his arms afterwards. ]

Maybe, but I think we're supposed to share that sort of feeling across the board. They're meant to be our partners while we're here, don't you think? [ He sees what you're doing, Prompto. Which prompts (mehoyminoy) Chris to flash the guy another smile, albeit wary, but preps his Stufful for the unwanted touch by scratching it behind an ear. ] As for the professor handing out our first starters, I've got no clue there.

[ Thankfully, Chris' pokémon doesn't swat or thrash when Prompto gives it a few pets. As it's more preoccupied in the meantime by the sort of affection its trainer is giving 'em, and the fact is evident in the weird squeaks it makes. ]

So, has anyone taken your picture yet?

They are our partners! But you know - maybe it's just me, but there has to be a reason we got these ones. [ It won't stop bothering him, okay. Who could have known about-- why did he get Null? ] You got any ideas about yours, Mister...?

[ He just. Stops at that last bit, though, smile fading for a moment as he pulls his hand away from the cute-ass plush Pokemon. ] No? [ There's the slightest of pauses, before he lets out a laugh to mask his confusion at even being asked that. ] I mean, I've taken selfies. It's pretty much the same thing, right?

Chris. No need for the 'mister' either. And as for Stufful being my first pokémon, maybe it's the fact we both enjoy hugs?

[ Chris barks out a short laugh at his own joke. In reality, he had no clue as to why they were given their respective starters. Appearance-wise Chris and his Stufful hardly complemented each other, and the same goes for their personalities as well. Perhaps their strength was similar or the fact that his weird moving plush was slow to trust when it came to touch and affection. Regardless, he does feel bad for not being able to seriously answer the question. Since he's not about to make any assumptions as to why Type: Null was Prompto's starter either. ]

Selfies count. Though the reason I ask is that usually the person taking the pictures is hardly in 'em at all sometimes. It's your journey, too, isn't it? [ Chris speaks from experience, but doesn't touch on it any further after gauging Prompto's reaction to it. It's different being a subject in a photograph rather than just taking a quick self-portrait, but Chris keeps that to himself. ] Anyway, those are just my thoughts. I apologize for any off-the-cuff remarks.

[The moment the sunny friendly guy came to the very anti-social girl, who was sitting and reading, her Abra made a haste bolt to hiding behind her. Shy nature versus Daria's somewhat standoffish demeanor was a bit in hand in hand. It wasn't Prompto's fault; as far as she could gather right now. Oh nah. Daria just...she really hated pictures. The thought of getting her picture taken was like someone jamming a knife in her eye. But hey, that's severe introversion for you. Fitzgerald the Abra seemed to agree.]

Unless if you have a filter that makes the picture pitch black, no thanks.

[ Don't mind him giving a little bit of a laugh - man, he knows that sort. But he then gives a small frown, slightly adjusting himself. ]
Are you sure? I'm sure you'd look great in one?

[Really. Daria looked toward her Abra, who she was kind of jealous of since he had somewhere to hide behind.

No one has EVER told her that. Ever. She was fine with that, since she disliked taking pictures and hated forcing a smile for them. So she didn't. Ever. At least this guy wasn't offensive? Unless if he was being patronizing. Which she couldn't read if he was or not.]

I'm not really a "smiling for the camera" type.
