When Oricorio hops up onto Ashiya's shoulder, he turns his head towards her for a moment.]

He pushes to his feet with a little hups, trying to tuck his clothing back into some semblance of order.]

I know they are not demons. But look, everybody here loves these little guys. They let their kids play with them. I think you're being a bit too cautious, Abeno-san.

[Says the guy who nearly got killed by a flock of Pidoves like two minutes ago.]

[Oricorio chirps. And flutters back over to her trainer. Preening herself primly. Said trainer's expression doesn't change.]

Someone has to be. Who would save you from birds, if we weren't?

[He tucks his hands in his sleeves -- which looks ridiculous when he's not... wearing the kimono he prefers. If this bothers him, he refuses to show it.]
