[ Time for another video from everyone's favorite clown girl Harley Quinn and she's beaming so bright you might need to turn down the settings on your screen.]

HEY! HEY You guys!!! Why didn't anyone tell me there were Hyena Pokemon!?!

[She turns the camera to a pair of Poochyena who are the moment wrestling in the dirt, growling and snapping at one another. Harley's Snubbull looks nervous and is edging it's way around the fight trying to find a good way to break it up even though they are clearly just rough housing.]

Oh I want them!!! I just need good names. Would it be cheating to name them after my Hyena's at home? Last time I saw them they had just had babies and were so happy even if they don't get to run wild we me anymore.

[Turns the camera back on her. but keeps it angled so you can see the perfect puppies in the background as they decide Snubbull clearly wants to play and tag team tackle him.]

So that leads me to my question! Got any pokemon you named after people or things from home? Tell me about em! I love hearing your stories!

Step by step you make your way deeper into the cave. Which cave are you exploring? It doesn't really matter because the point is as you try to avoid tripping over your own two feet in the dark damp cave...a scream explodes from behind you and echos all around you.

Followed by cursing. Lots of cursing.

"BATS! Why did it have to be BATS!?!"

The sound of thousands of wings and three pairs of feet are rushing up on you fast as Harley Quinn...dressed like a miner, a Snubbull and a Mawile all running for their lives with Harley holding a beat up looking Spinda in her arms. 

And behind her? A cloud of Zubats, some Golbats and a Crobat or two.

And the worst part of all is they are coming RIGHT AT YOU!!!

Occasionally Harley likes to get back to doing what she used to do before her life turned into a series of dumb jokes, hyper violent panels and a revolving door of artists each with their own idea of just how scantily clad she should be.

That is, she liked to be a Psychologist.

After all she spent years studying herself in circles and far too much tuition money to just let that degree gather dust...even if it was back in her own world hanging on the wall of her apartment.

But because of her current life traveling around she couldn't exactly have a stationary office could she?

And so you find yourself walking by, perhaps it's a park or just a patch of open grass in a busy city that no one was using? But she's set herself up a little booth with a sign hanging from a cheap fold out table.

Psychiatric help: Pay what you can.

And behind the table lounging and thumbing through a Comic Book is a Harley but she's cleaned herself up a bit. Her blond hair is done up in a bun, though streaks of blue and red are still clear. She's wearing a doctors coat and glasses in what might pass as a half decent attempt to look professional.

Do you dare take her up on her offer?

It was just suppose to be a little adventure into a cave, see what sort of Pokemon he could find, and then he was going to be on his way. That was all! Wimbly the Eevee and Nunvill the Alola Rattata were with him as always and everything had been going quite well for the group!

Then came the cursing. And the woman running towards him with her Pokemon.

And then the cloud of bats.

"Oh Quiznak!" Coran yelped as he back peddled, Wimbly already turning tail with a squeak and making a break up the path they had taken while Nunvill attempted to dart forward to fight. Her trainer was faster, Coran scooping her up under his arm and turning to run as fast as he possibly could. "Sorry, Nunvill but I believe this fight may be a bit out of our league!" he called out, chancing a glance at the woman who was also fleeing for his life. "What did you do?!"

[The video snaps on pointing straight up at the sky, a few Pidgey flying over head as the sun shines and the beedrills hum in the distance. A moment later an extremely fluffy Eevee pops into view, peering down into the 'gear with a delighted expression and a happy little twill.

Hello friends!

Bopping about in a little happy Corgi style dance of delight, the Eevee disappears from view with excited noises that are greeted by a a voice. A voice that may be familiar to some.]

What's that Wimbly? Something the matter?

[The Eevee twills and chirps and reappears a moment later, face shoved into the 'gear's view which makes it hard to see the trainer that comes up behind it until the fluffy little creature is picked up revealing a man with bright orange hair and a rather dashing mustache.]

Ah there it is! I was wondering where this had gotten to! Good job, Wimbly, what a good little thing you are!

[Coran grins fondly as he taps the Eevee's nose before turning the grin on the 'gear and waving--not bothering to pick it up just yet.

Don't mind the upside down view.]

Hello there! I don't suppose anyone could give me a bit more information about what planet this is could they? For that matter, could anyone point me in the direction of a giant metal lion? Kind of hard to miss so I'm sure someone has to have seen one!


[B - Action (Sevii Islands)]

Would you look at this dashing fellow!

[Coran was ecstatic with his latest Pokemon catch, eyes practically sparkling as his Eevee vibrated with excitement at his feet. They had been getting better at the battling and training thing and so far he'd caught several new companions but this one! This one!!

The Alola Rattata peered at Coran with something akin to awe, nose twitching which caused it's mustache to twitch and the Altean couldn't help but wiggle his nose--and mustache--in return. The Pokemon squeaked in delight and Coran couldn't help but laugh, drawing the rat close and cradling it in his arms so he could scratch under it's chin.]

You are absolutely one of the best looking Pokemon I've seen since coming here! [He blinked and looked down at his Eevee who puffed up.] Aside from you, of course, Wimbly! [That got a pleased squeak from his fluffy companion and Coran chuckled again, attention back on the Rattata who was stretching happily under the scritches.] What do you think, my dashing friend? Care to join us on our adventure?

[The rat Pokemon squeaked and twisted around so it could clamber up onto Coran's shoulder, nuzzling against his ear as it chittered happily. The Altean laughed and reached up to steady the Rattata on his shoulder while Wimbly the Eevee squeaked and hopped about in delight.]

I believe that's a yes!

In any case, Lance is glad to see another familiar face here. The team is coming together one by one and he can't wait until they're complete. It feels weird when they're all separated like this.]

Sorry to break it to you, but there's no giant metal lion here. In fact, none of them are here. [And he sounds disappointed about it too.] I'm not sure what planet this is to be honest with you, but it's pretty much Earth aside from the Pokemon. Also, you're upside down.

[Feed clicks on to Ursula, squeezed unflatteringly into a rocket uniform, twirling a pen in one hand. A tiny clamperl adorns her neck.]

Who would have thought the little land urchin had it in him?

[Her voice is sweet, hiding her inner rage. Her fist tightens, snapping the pen in her hand, though a pleasant smile remains on her face. The clamperl squeaks in dismay at the ruined pen. Ursula immediately croons at it comfortingly, stroking it with a finger.]

It’s okay poopsie, sometimes mummy doesn’t know her own strength.

He's got his thumbs hooked in the straps of his backpack. His hair flops back and forth as he moves his head to whatever earworm he's got going on.

If you get close enough to tell that he's singing, you'll notice he's got quite a lovely medium tenor voice. Closer yet and you can catch what he's quietly singing to himself.]

That's very kind of you.

[Seated in the midst of some bushes in the meadow, Chise was the center of attention as several Flabebe floated about her, twilling and singing to her in delight while Cutiefly buzzed about with Cottonees drifting in the breeze. Even a few Morelulls had crept out of hiding to investigate the visitor.

All of which annoyed her Litwick to no end.

The little Ghost sat close to her trainer's hip, flame flickering irritably at all the fairies as they gushed over Chise. This was her human, no theirs! On Chise's other side was a Furfrou who was dozing quietly, not bothered in the least by the gathering of giggling fairy types.

Chise was oblivious, or maybe just use to it by now, as she held the flower that a Flabebe had given her. A gentle smile touched her lips as she touched the delicate pink and red petals with her free hand, twisting the flower at the same time to feel the soft velvety texture of each petal.]

There were flowers like this in Elias's garden back home.

[Several of the fairies giggled in delight only to scatter a moment later as a twig snapped. Chise lowered the flower as she looked over her shoulder, smile gone as a neutral look replaced it.]

What sort of magic exists in this world?

[A very straight forward question. Chise had been able to feel it in the air and she could understand some of what certain Pokemon were trying to tell her but not being able to harness it--use it--was still strange.]

I can feel it but I can't tell what kind it is...are there sorcerers or mages here? Or both?

[Yes, to her those are two very different things.

A Flabebe drifts into view and settles on her shoulder, causing Chise's expression to soften just the slightest bit as she reaches up to pet the tiny creature.]

Is it really only the fae here that can use magic?

[Among all the Cutiefly, there was one, slightly different looking Ribombee fluttering happily around Chise's head. After a couple of minutes of surveying her, the little thing perched in her bright red hair. The little thing barely weighs a pound, so it shouldn't be too much of an intrusion.]

[However, this particular Ribombee has a trainer! Kazuki is the one that snapped the twig as he approached, looking for his Pokemon.]

Puff! Puff! You can go so far-- you're too small, I'll lose you!

[He didn't notice Chise yet.]

Hmm...as far as I know, it’s only Pokemon that have any kind of powers. [Yuuko isn’t sure if she’d call Pokemon’s abilities “magic”, even if it does seem that way at times.]

Um...by “fae” do you mean Fairy types? Because they do have their own abilities, but there are a lot of different types.

[Picture the scene: it is a bright and sunny day in the National Park. People have come from everywhere to relax in the sun, play with their kids or even have a Pokemon battle or two. And on one of the park benches sits a young man eating a melonpan.

Ahisya hasn’t been here long, and he doesn’t really understand much yet, but if this world has melonpan, it can’t be that bad.

A coo catches his attention. Wiping crumbs off his mouth with his thumb, he glances to the side to spot a Pidove sitting on the back of the park bench, staring at the melonpan.]

Hello. Wow, I guess you even have pokemon that look like pigeons here.

[A coo and Ashiya’s eyes drop to the bread in his hands.]

Oh, you want some of this?

[Another coo.]

Well, I don’t mind sharing.

[Breaking off a small piece, Ashiya holds it out on the flat of his hand, smiling when the pokemon pecks the pieces of melonpan off his palm.]

Nice, isn’t it? I guess everybody loves melonpa— oh. Another one.

[With a flutter of wings and a coo, a second Pidove lands next to the first.]

A friend of yours? Well, I’ve plenty for all three—

[A third Pidove lands on the bench.]

Uh, four of—

[Five. Six. The cooing is getting louder.]

Wow, there’s a lot of you guys, uhh—

[The Pidoves keep coming. They keep happening; gathering around Ashiya like vultures around road-kill, their beady eyes on the prize.]

Wait, wait. [Ashiya’s getting nervous. Really nervous.] There is not enough for— Where did so many of you come from?

[The coos are loud now. Very loud. Ominous.]

Time out, time out. I’ll let you guys have this one. You don’t have to—

[The Pidoves are out of patience. As if given some invisible signal, they attack at once, all descending on the melonpan.

Ashiya screams.]

[Oh hell, there is a boy on your screen. Ashiya is looking relaxed, but there is something serious in his expression too. He's loosely got his arms crossed over his knees, as he regards the camera. A Hoppip sits on his head, humming cheerily as it plays with his hair.]

I know this might sound like a weird question, but hear me out, all right?

[Ashiya breathes in. Back home, he wouldn't be able to ask something like this. People would think he was insane. But here... there are so many people from different worlds, and he can't help but wonder.]

Has anyone else ever seen a demon?

[There's a Sensu Oricorio on one shoulder. She looks about as unamused as he does. But she hops down, wings fluttering to scare the Pidoves away from Ashiya in a flurry of adorable little dance moves.]

[Just as the Pidove coordinate their attack, a fluffy Altaria steps in and fans out its cloudy wings to enshroud Ashiya in a veil of protection. It causes the Pidoves to bail out of confusion. Kazuki then joins the fray, waving his arms to try and dissuade them.]

Break it up guys, break it up! No attacking people for Melonpan! It's not sharing if you try to take it from him!

Barry Bluejeans | The Adventure Zone | possible spoilers in threads

[It's been a long, long time since Barry Bluejeans has been to a beach. The shore of Cianwood City is vastly more populated than the last one he'd been at, with children and pokemon running every which way and splashing in the waves. Barry himself is situated in the shade underneath a large red beach umbrella with his face buried in a book called "Deja Boo!: A Comprehensive Guide to Ghost Pokemon". Beside him, safely nestled under the cover of a blue denim jacket, a Duskull naps.

He looks to preoccupied to notice anyone approaching him but why not come bother the strange shirtless man wearing jeans on a beach?]

[The video starts with loud crashing, some very unsettling noises and a view of a hardwood floor. After a little jostling the camera turns around to face Barry. The look on his face is a mixture of nervous and embarrassed and it seems he's taken shelter under a metal table while the sounds intensify in the background. Over his shoulder an anxious Duskull peeks out.]

So, uh, you guys know how Spiritomb is supposed to be a hundred and eight spirits bound to an Odd Keystone? I might have been doin' some research and trying a few spells from my world just to see what would happen and- [CRASH] Now mine is a hundred and seven. Is there anybody near Lavender Town who's got a fairy-type so I can, you know, get out of here without losing my head?

[Well, having learned what he can about this place, Connor is setting off with his Magnemite. And that's all fine and everything, but now he has to deal with being a human on top of everything else that's happening. He's decidedly squishy now, he needs to eat and drink (which is kind of exciting), and he feels pain (which is less exciting). His LED remains on his temple as a reminder of what he was, but Connor doesn't mind. It'd feel strange without it there.

It's only as he's sitting and eating the lunch Mom gave him that he realises he hasn't named his new partner yet. So he cleans himself up carefully, then turns his Gear back on.]

Hello again. What did you name your starter pokemon? I'm looking for ideas.

[There's a persistent worry about what's going on at home that he can't shake, though when it comes down to that worry it's all about 'Sumo'. Nothing much more than that. Whatever investments he had are largely gone now.]

[That doesn't mean that this situation isn't entirely fucking stupid, though.]

[Hank is busy trying to fight his way through some shrubs because his Growlithe pup, his fucking Growlithe (because when the hell did he ever suspect he'd have to deal with a Growlithe) has someone's old sandwich in its mouth, discarded paper and mold and all, and he's now on the damnable pet-owner mission of making it drop it.]

Spit it out! Put it down!

[And he's tangled. And he falls. And now he has a vine around his leg! Fucking great. He loves it. Awesome day.]

Let go of me you piece of shit! ...No, wait. [Not a pokemon. Just an errant actual no-brain plant. Thank god. He can't even tell anymore. Just the usual disentanglement required and not a flaming stab battle or anything. Now his Growlithe is happily hiding in the brush though, its mouth full of nightmare rotten prize. He's gonna try to eat it before daddy gets to him.]



B. New Bark Town

[It's a nice town, actually! Having dealt with Detroit for so long, he's come to think of places like this as vacation spots. They're distant, unremarkable, mostly safe havens from the horrors of the city. Mostly safe, because every town has its horrors. And every place manages to have some variation on fucking pigeons.]

Get it off me! Fuck off, bird!

[A Pidgey has decided it doesn't like Hank, and while his Growlithe barks furiously at it (unable to attack) he's blocking his face with his arm and swatting at it and trying to fend off its attention with all the bravery one usually has when faced with discovering a particularly fast spider is crawling up them.]

[But the good dog doesn't want to flame at his new dad and can't really help him out yet as he's assaulted by one of his least favorite animals. Or something very similar to it.]

Please tell me there's a place to get whiskey. I'm going to need it.

[Luckily for Hank, Connor's pokemon is an electric type. Which, he's found out, is good against flying pokemon. So he orders his Magnemite to zap the offending Pidgey, and it eventually flies away after one good shock.

Connor peers at Hank afterwards, his Magnemite floating by his head and tilting questioningly.]

Are you alright, Lieutenant? The bird is gone.

Romelle | Voltron Legendary Defender | Season Six - Seven spoilers

[It starts out as just audio but then the video snaps on and a pair of boot-clad feet are visible followed by a Mienfoo's snout as it leans in to peer at the 'gear.]

Oh, hang on!

[The Mienfoo disappears from view as the 'gear is turned upright and a young woman comes into view, human at first glance but there are odd markings on her cheek and her ears are definitely a bit pointed. Humanoid at the very least.

She frowns, lips pursed.]

Lance? Allura? Where is everyone! You could have told me we were landing! [She glances down, her frown softening.] At least the creatures here are much nicer than the last planet...


[Action - Sevii Islands Ferry]

Look at that! It's massive!

[Romelle had decided to venture out to the islands she'd heard so much about and honestly it was absolutely enthralling. She'd already seen so many amazing things since arriving here but being out of the water was the best yet.

Perched on the railing, feet on the lower bar and her hands bracing her weight on the top bar, she leaned out over the railing itself a bit with a wide smile as a pod of Wailmer breached a few yards out. Her Mienfoo was hanging on the railing beside her, chirping her own delight at the sight as she swung back and forth.]

What do you think, Lia? Do you think we could catch one? [She looked down at her Mienfoo who let out a little growl, kicking her feet as she swung on the railing. Romelle giggled and hopped down off the railing, helping Lia down once she was on the deck again.

A quick look around has her darting over towards someone else whale watching, hands clasped together as she smiled brightly.]

Do you think I could try those? They help you get a closer look, right?

[Those binoculars you're holding? She'd like to try. Do you dare let her?]

[By now, Armin has gone on these Wailmer watching tours often enough that the people on the ferries all know him by name and face. He just can't help it. No matter how often he sees them, there is a part of him that can't help but be awed each time. And of course he can watch Amber and Princess (and sometimes Bruce) back home, but that is no comparison for some of these huge pods. Especially when they school together to hunt.

In fact, the only thing that could draw his attention away is the girl suddenly popping up at his side, asking to borrow his binoculars. And, you know what, Armin doesn't mind helping out a fellow Wailmer enthusiast.]

Of course. [He holds them out with a small smile.] They look even more amazing close up.

[ There's a seven-foot-tall wall of muscle with a Munna sitting on top of his shaved head.

Why the space marine has decided to let the Munna sit on his head is anyone's guess. But it looks pretty content there, blinking curiously down at the trainer standing in front of Maine. A trainer who, from the looks of things, wants to battle. There's just one small problem.

In a deep, gravelly voice that honestly sounds more like a growl: ]

Me.

[ And Maine points to himself before folding his arms and glaring down at the other trainer.

That's right: they have to battle Maine before they can touch his Munna.

Are you the trainer in question? A Good Samaritan choosing to step in and stop this beating before it starts? Or are you a bystander eagerly popcorning as the other trainer turns pale and starts sputtering? ]

[It isn't that Wash thinks that someone here is out to get him. It's just that it's been so long since no-one was actually out to get him that he's forgotten what to do when there's genuinely no-one who wants him dead or imprisoned.

The beach out here is wide and empty, the sand pale beneath Wash's fingers, and the ocean calm. It's pretty huge. Loki, his shinx, is charging across the sand, chasing a bug or something.

[There is a Shinx siting on Wash's shoulder when he finally addresses the network. Wash pets it idly, a fond look on his face that definitely feels unfamiliar to him. It's been a long time since he felt like he cared about some other living creature.]

[ That "bomb" comes in the form of a Munna that floats over the back of the rock, hovering above Wash's head for a moment before drifting on, seemingly heading in the direction of Wash's Shinx. Shortly after comes heavy footsteps; someone with (very) long legs is jogging after the pokémon. ]

[ A deep, guttural voice grunts out the word before a seven-foot-tall wall of muscle rounds the rock, brown eyes sweeping the beach in search of his wayward pokémon. ]
