I don't know if it helps any, but Lance and I are from about the same time. Pidge is farther along -- she said something about my hair, if that helps at all. [Also answering her other question of who's all here. But -- here comes the bombshell.]

[She nods and forces her hands away from her pigtail, focusing instead on drawing her Mienfoo into her lap as she settles down to sit on something--a rock most likely.]

Oh, she must be from around the same time as me then. Now that you mention it, the last I saw you, your hair was all white.. [Romelle smiles weakly, arms snug around her Pokemon.

And then there's a flicker of shock across her face.]

What? But--how..he doesn't know anything?

That's what she told me too...

[Great. Now it's basically confirmed he's going to an early grey. He just wonders who pulled the stunt that would end up being the last straw.]

He doesn't know anything. And doesn't want to, from... what we've talked about.

[That was a bit discouraging. Romelle looks down at her Mienfoo who just makes a soft sound at her, reaching up with a paw to bat at her cheek lightly.]

So if I do come in contact with him I shouldn't say anything to him at all?

I mean... saying hi probably won't hurt anything.

[And here comes the bad humor coping mechanism.]

I'm sorry to spring everything on you like this. And -- for what it's worth, I'm really happy to hear Allura... that she's not alone anymore. Her or Coran.

[Romelle can't help but smile.]

After..everything that happened, it's been wonderful traveling with with them--with all of you, actually.

[It felt like she had a family again.]

For what it's worth, hopefully the three of us can make things work out all right with you while you're here, too.

[Said Pokemon let's out a greeting noise, waving a paw at Shiro.]

[Because surely that can't... be a bad thing.]

[And then there's a big Aggron head swung into frame. Look he heard you freaking out, he's got to inspect this face on the 'gear.] -- ... and this is mine.

[She'll just blurt it all out without really thinking much of it so get ready for that.

Both Romelle and Lia startle at the appearance of the Aggron, the former's eyes wide as she leans in close to her 'gear.]

What in the quiznack is that!

[It'll be fine. Probably.]

This -- [As he shoves at the big metal nose.] Is Kuro. He's an Aggron. He's my starter.

Just a lot bigger than he knows.

[It's so big!!]

How many different starters are there? Lia's so much smaller than he is!

[And she's kind of grateful for that because having something so large at first would have been terrifying.

Yeah. She doesn't get Pokemon yet.]

A lot. Probably as many as there are of us arrivals.

[If not more. He thinks he knows of one person with an Aron as a starter, but that's it.]

Just a warning -- yours might end up bigger, eventually, too. [Kuro just bobs his head, butting his nose against the screen. Hello lady!]

Romelle looks at Lia who just squeaks happily up at her.]

You better not turn into a giant. How will I get you into buildings?

[The Mienfoo just looked amused as the Altean sighed and looked at Shiro and Kuro again.]

This world really is very strange. There's no easy way to learn everything either. I looked through this little device we're speaking through, my 'gear or whatever it's called, but there was so much to read through! I can't imagine learning all of it!

If it helps any, most of the buildings here are already designed with bigger pokemon in mind. If Kuro doesn't have a problem, she shouldn't, either.

[This is... this is better. Than talking about timelines. Talking about what they don't know or stumbling over introductions.]

[That can happen later. When she's more at ease.]

It's okay. No one expects you to know everything immediately. You can take your time.
