[ The Salazzle turns her head sharply before scuttling back over to Lotor, who leaned against the railing of the ferry with one hand. ]

[Lotor was sure he was supposed to be... something. There was a gap. He remembered flashes, but it was tinged with bright light and blood rushing in his ears so fast he could only hear that and the sounds of his ship taking damage.
And his own voice.]
So short sighted, all of you. What species in the entire galaxy hasn't made sacrifices for the betterment of their people? You're naive.
[The Salazzle sticks her tongue out at the Mienfoo, rising to her back legs as flames lick around her mouth.]
I could have risen the Altean empire from the dust yet you're self righteousness robbed our people of our chance.

How dare you call yourself an Altean! How dare you call the countless individuals you murdered your people! You have no right to do such a thing after what you did to them! You never gave any of them a choice--you lied to everyone!
[Beside her, Lia the Mienfoo snarled and shifted her stance, paws starting to glow. Bring it you nasty lizard!]

[Lotor rests his hand on the Salazzle's head to ease her back. There was no need to cause such a ruckus aboard the ferry.]

Romelle's hands quiver then curl into fists where she holds them aloft as her Mienfoo shifts forward somewhat protectively.]
Not for that price. What good came of it? What good did it do for any of us Alteans? Nothing! Everything you did was to benefit yourself!

[ He waves his hand flippantly, smirking at her. ]
Not surprising, given how I sheltered you all. Sheltered from the war, the Galra Empire, the genocide they committed upon your very people. You should be thanking me for even existing.
[ Lotor brings his hands together, fingertips touching as he looks down his nose at her. These Altean children owed him their lives, their very existence yet here one stands scorning him for all he'd done for them. Pathetic. ]
Of course, your way of thanking me was ruining centuries of work. What do you think will happen if your little colony is found without me there to protect them? Oh, of course, you will have saved a few lives but the Galra will gladly raze the colony to the ground.
[ The Salazzle was hissing, dropping low to the ground as she prepares to lunge at the little Mienfoo. She was itching for a fight. How long would Lotor prevent her? ]

[ His expression turns bitter, jaw tightening. ]

[Her biggest regret was that so many people had to suffer before she was able to find help. Before she crossed paths with Krolia and Keith and found people that would believe what she had to say.

Put a stop to what? Elevation of the Altean Empire to the seat of core power, ruling over a peaceful universe? Oh, yes you certainly defeated my diabolical master plan. To think, without you, the galaxy would no longer be at war.
[ Narti let flames start to dance out, hot and ready to roast Lia's fur off her body entirely. Would make for easier swallowing that way, if only Lotor would give her the chance..! ]
Having something in common is hardly the point. Getting home, for you, would be the point. I certainly wouldn't mind either, but considering you dismantled all that I worked for... Well, perhaps doing it Allura's way could be the next option I take.
[ Even though Allura's way would inevitably fail. He'd seen enough cultures try and fail. Of course, the Galran Empire allowed little room for the success of other planets. ]
I suppose my point is if you wished to get home... wouldn't you wish to work with someone who could possibly get you there?

Lia yips sharply, inching forward as the Salazzle let's loose some flames, the color of the aura surrounding her paws changing as she uses Aura Sphere to boost her own abilities a bit.
She would beat the flames out of you before you could lay a claw on her, Narti.]

[ Did she seriously not see the vision? That they would be elevated beyond measure and the amount of lives sacrificed for that weren't nearly as many as Zarkon had taken when destroying Altea? Naive, silly little child. Too sheltered and short-sighted.
Narti had her own Nasty Plot forming, bits of suspicious mucus dripping between the flames, sizzling as it hit the deck. You really want to get that close to the dripping maw? She would be glad to lay you out slowly. ]
You'd rather wander--really? You can't even think that far ahead? Imagine, if you would, us working together. We both return to our world. You, wherever you happen to be.. Romelle manages to not let her surprise at his words show, her sneer staying in place as she scoffs lightly.]

Lotor wasn't worried. He had thousands of years of experience and training behind him. He'd beaten them before, he could certainly do it again. Her threats and posturing weren't threatening in the least.
Narti finally spits a Toxic ball at the Mienfoo before she's yanked backward again.
Neither of us are here to fight you. There seems little point to it. You've clearly accepted your fate of staying in a strange land, separated from the world you know. And along with the others, hmm? So our world will fall to the Galra empire entirely.
