1. Action
[It isn't that Wash thinks that someone here is out to get him. It's just that it's been so long since no-one was actually out to get him that he's forgotten what to do when there's genuinely no-one who wants him dead or imprisoned.

The beach out here is wide and empty, the sand pale beneath Wash's fingers, and the ocean calm. It's pretty huge. Loki, his shinx, is charging across the sand, chasing a bug or something.

And Wash sits back, leaning against a rock, and stares at the sea as he eats a packed lunch, like he's expecting a bomb to drop on him.]

2. Network
[There is a Shinx siting on Wash's shoulder when he finally addresses the network. Wash pets it idly, a fond look on his face that definitely feels unfamiliar to him. It's been a long time since he felt like he cared about some other living creature.]

Not that I mind that this guy is following me around, but what do I feed him? Cat food?

3. Wildcard
[OOC: Hit him up someplace else!]

[ That "bomb" comes in the form of a Munna that floats over the back of the rock, hovering above Wash's head for a moment before drifting on, seemingly heading in the direction of Wash's Shinx. Shortly after comes heavy footsteps; someone with (very) long legs is jogging after the pokémon. ]

Munna.

[ A deep, guttural voice grunts out the word before a seven-foot-tall wall of muscle rounds the rock, brown eyes sweeping the beach in search of his wayward pokémon. ]

( ooc: totally fine with this being a reunion OR with them being traveling companions or something, for tdm purposes! ♥ )

[At least so far he's managed to tamp down on his normal reaction to things that float nearby which is trying to shoot them. There's too many things here, weird weird things, which are too common for him to freak out over. If he started he'd never stop.

He catches the movement and reacts quickly, pushing himself to his feet in case Loki needs help, in case the footsteps are-]

Maine?

[He slumps a little, the fight seeping out of him when he spots his friend.]

Did Munna run away again? ...eh, float away again?

[ The big man catches sight of Wash just as his friend relaxes. Sand on his clothes, slumped posture — he was probably sitting down before Munna startled him. (At least, that's what Maine concludes; he doesn't think that his footsteps had anything to do with it.)

Maine grunts an affirmative, eyeing the pink pokémon chasing after Loki. ]

Gets restless.

[ When she's not relaxing on top of Maine's head, that is. ]
