For its part, the Rattata somehow manages to look somewhat offended at that assumption, though it makes no attempt to jump down.

She tries not to shrink in on herself. She hates being vulnerable; it reminds her too much of her.

She steps forward, seemingly automatically into the edge of Cassandra's personal space. "I'm Sasha, by the way."
no subject
She hesitates as the other steps into her space, then says simply, "Cassandra."

She dresses like a Vault Hunter, though - albeit a rather understated one. "I guess you're not from Pandora, then," she says jokingly. "Here, let me see yours," she says, offering her open hand.
no subject
She doesn't know what 'Pandora' is either - there might have been another warrior by that name? - but she's not sure she really wants to ask right now. She takes note of Sasha's outstretched hand, but she's not really sure what she's supposed to be putting in it, so right now she... doesn't, yes.

Because she definitely noticed the lack of anything being put in her hand. "You know that the fancy-looking brick with the black screen, about yae big?" She takes her own gear out as an example. "I can show you how it works, if you give it to me."
She could totally just take it and run, still - the temptation is real - but at this point it's just kicking someone when they're down, and that's no fun. "I promise I'll give it back, if that's what you're worried about."
no subject
She hadn't been worried about having her... phone... stolen before, but now she wonders if that's something she should worry about here in general. This place can't be as idyllic as it appears, can it? Still, she obligingly hands it over.

She holds her hands wide apart on the device, so she can show off the power button. "You hold this down, like so, and it'll turn on." And when it does: "See, it's a touch screen, so you'll want to tap the apps - those specific little drawings, see? And they bring up different programs - kind of like, uh." She frowns, and glances away. "Shit, I'm not sure how to explain that. Like different tasks your 'gear can perform, all on its own?"
no subject
She listens intently, watching carefully as Sasha demonstrates how the device works. It all looks very complex, and Cassandra thinks it's probably best that she not think too hard about how any of what it does is possible for the moment. "On its own?"

She taps the Pokedex logo, which makes a red light flash on its front. "Huh. Must be camera based. So when you use this app, you'll want to point this-- this eye at a thingy. Like this."
She turns the camera on her shoulder rat, and the device reads out in a smooth, somewhat tinny voice: "Rattata: the Mouse Pokemon. With its incisors, it gnaws through doors and infiltrates people’s homes. Then, with a twitch of its whiskers, it steals whatever food it finds."
