[ While Thace is investigating around Route 29, he'll come across a trainer in the middle of a pokemon battle. Staring down a wild Rattata is Keith and a very surly pokemon. Notable, however, is an air of frustration around the pair as Keith points at the Rattata, only for the purple pokemon by his side to continue staring with that unchanging deadpan expression. ]

C'mon, Kolivan....

[Thace wouldn't forget a face, even if there have been some changes. In spite of his concerns about everything, he immediately starts approaching.]

Brother Keit-- Kolivan?

[What even--? Was Kolivan transformed into one of these creatures rather than an Earthling?]

[ Keith turns quickly as the stranger approaches. He doesn't immediately recognize the stranger which makes the words that come out of his mouth all the more jarring.

Brother? Keith? Kolivan? These don't sound like words that should be mashed together in quick succession. Eyes widening he takes a half step back, earning an annoyed chirp from the Toxel who'd been leaning on his leg. The Rattata, seeing that Keith is distracted, takes that moment to flee from battle. ]

You're.... a Blade?

[ It wouldn't be impossible of course, even though he didn't think he'd ever see one here. He stares at the now more human face of this mystery Blade. There's something very familiar about him,,,. ]
