That was definitely a lot of ... something that person was eating. Romelle was certainly curious. Her stufful, however, knew exactly what it was, and went running over to see if the ponyta would be kind enough to share. Romelle had been intent on just observing first, but she needed to make sure her new partner didn't get in trouble. She quickly followed.

"No, no... we shouldn't interrupt. Come on." She went to scoop up the errant little creature. It complained with a loud, "Stufful!"

"I'm sorry. But um... may I ask what that is you're eating?" she asked Catra.

"I thought you didn't think you should interrupt," Catra replies, cocking an eyebrow as she swivels in her seat to bring Romelle and the stufful fully into her field of vision. She leans on one elbow against the table, giving the pair a quick once-over before seeming to relax slightly, as though judging them not an immediate threat.

"It's called ice cream. Apparently it's popular on this planet."

"Ah-..." She almost backed down, but the woman continued to mention what it was she was eating.

Oh... ice cream! She'd heard of this!

"Oh, yes! My friends have spoken of ice cream before. I haven't had any, though. It was a little hard to make in space. The Lions didn't have kitchens." Because that was totally a normal thing to say. Moving on. "Where did you get it?" She wasn't going to ask if Catra would share...

Catra just stares at her for a moment, head cocking first to one side, then the other as she turns the words over in her head in an attempt to fit them into a pattern that makes some sort of sense.

"Are the Lions the unit you were travelling with?" she asks finally. "Or are there actual lions that have the technology to get to space?"

This is clearly more important than giving directions to the ice cream vendor.

Romelle smiled a little and shook her head.

"Neither." She was getting used to the idea that not everyone might know what Voltron was. "The Lions are large robotic space ships that transform and combine to make an even bigger robot called Voltron. It's a mighty weapon designed to protect the universe against evil."

Cool, right? Romelle thought so.
