Route 29

Zero, confounded by his location, appearance, and more, was traveling across the route, searching for answers. His robotic body had been replaced with that of a human, and his chips, weapons, CDs, tanks, and even the Z-Phone were missing. The people he had talked to had called this place "New Bark Town", a name unfamiliar to him. Earlier, after inspecting the bag he was given, he found a strange red and white ball with a button on its side. When he opened it, a strange creature emerged. It seemed to be some sort of red and blue robot, with legs that resembled treads, and strangely flat surfaces. It followed him as he traveled, and he paid it little mind, as long as it wasn't attacking him.

As he continued along the path, sliding more than walking, he saw a person different than the ones he had seen in this "New Bark Town" place, with pointed ears, something that none of the humans he had seen possessed. Perhaps this person could answer some of his questions. He began to approach them, and once he was nearby, he asked, "Pardon me, but do you know where this place is?"

Romelle had noticed the odd gait and watched this person approach. Unlike the majority of the natives to this place, she didn't immediately offer to battle on eye contact. Instead, she waited for him to speak, and then shook her head.

"Not really," she said apologetically. "Just that it's Route 29. We're in a place called Johto, and I have just left New Bark Town." Her Stufful introduced himself as well. "Oh, yes... this is Stufful." After all, she had no reason to call him anything else at the moment. "I... don't know really what I'm supposed to be doing here. I'm guessing you're in the same position?"
