Misty's the water gym, so your Shinx will be perfect for that. Then you catch some water Pokemon and warp back to Pewter to face Brock."

Ichimatsu paused as he listened. He supposed it was a heavier lead than just walking back into the forest. He hadn't seen any Pokemon that'd be good against the Rock gym when he came through the first time, so this was probably a better direction. "Mm." He slowly nodded. "Thanks... again." He couldn't help but wonder how Oso managed to befriend someone this, uh, helpful? Maybe the man just hadn't spent enough time around that nuisance of a brother. "You this friendly to everyone?"

"When I'm not in a mood, yes," Steven says with a shrug. "It's just good sense to be, really. If you're nice to people, they'll either be nice back or they'll reveal themselves to be a jerk and you can avoid them in the future."
