And help me figure out a name for this gremlin. [He picks up the cat and looks her in the eye.] This is Sylvain. Behave yourself and don't steal his things. [He smirks at Sylvain and lets the cat climb up to ride on his shoulder.] Did you end up with a weird pet, too?

[Sylvain finds himself smiling again, only this time it feels genuine. It's easy to fall back into hold habits with Felix. It's even easier to feel at ease as the other man makes a jab his way.]

Now wait just a moment. I have never acted a fool in my entire life. [He turns the charm in his smile up to eleven, focusing entirely on the cat.] But I do know the perfect man for you to steal from.

Of course, the smile doesn't quite last forever. it's replaced soon enough by (an admittedly still amused) grimace at the mention of their pets.]
