[One mother was good enough for her, thank you very much. And don't get her started on her last memories of her father's AI.]

[ Yuzu lets out a sigh. Someone in the same boat that she had been in before, huh? Seriously, what is up with that mom lady? ]

[ She said something about being a Paladin? Of a blue lion? A bunch of words that, when combined, still mean nothing to Yuzu. She'll just... brush that aside for now, then. ]

Well... welcome! I'm sure you've got plenty of questions, and I hope I can answer some of them, but for now... what you should be doing is heading along Route 1 until you get to Cherrygrove City. It's a bit rough at first, but after that, you get used to traveling pretty quickly... at least, it did for me.

[Yyyyeah, she was trying to avoid the "m" word...]

Right, at least the road is straightforward. [And she has some survival training since Altea is Space Australia. She'll get used to it... even if she'll be cranky and not look Princess Gorgeous.] Still, I could use more information on this world's culture... and whether there's any interstellar travel available.

[Nice as this place is, she needs to leave quickly, and she wants to make sure she doesn't get thrown in jail for accidentally insulting someone before she can.]

In that case, Allura will turn off the feed and... wait where she is. Maybe have a quick cry once her Vulpix is the only witness. Another Altean... after so long thinking she and Coran were the last of their kind, and having her hopes raised and shattered by the Alteans in that other reality. She's not alone anymore.]

Ah, I couldn't help but overhear...

[Hi Allura, the voice you just heard is coming from...quite the tall young man standing in your vicinity, who lifts a hand with a slight wave when he sees her look his way. There's a little brown rabbit perched on his shoulder, her nose twitching curiously as she looks her over.]

Getting money here isn't terribly difficult, but...I wouldn't mind helping you pay if you need.

[Thankfully, Allura's fairly tall herself at about 5'8", and used to beings about Legosi's height and MUCH taller, so nothing about his height startles her. Really, she's more embarrassed at being caught talking to herself, and about something so petty.]

Ah... that's very kind of you, but really, there's no need. I was merely looking.

[The white Vulpix in her arms blinks at the lanky boi... back to Trainer... then gives lanky boi a blunt "keoke-o." Yes, please, fix my mess of a trainer, other trainer.]

[Gives a little chuckle at that.]

I'm quite relieved at that as well.

Plus, you can train them to your liking. These pokemon are quite intelligent creatures, I'm impressed.

[He held up one of his pokeballs and let Zorua out who immediately gave a playful giggle as it snuggled into Loki's side.]

Easy to make friends with too.

[There Loki let himself smile and pet Zorua.]

[Since he doesn't comment on his own situation, she decides to apply that to herself as well - the guy must have a reason to talk about the subject like that and she isn't going to misstep into the topic.]

trust me, most of us otherworlders don't appreciate getting kidnapped. but many of the people that have been here for a while speak highly of this world's utopic nature, and refuse to return to their own realms. I must admit, I see the appeal. if my brother was here with me, I think I would agree.

[She can sense the Dark alignment of the other little creature - it doesn't give her cause for concern, her own shares the same affinity, and...well, there's a reason she can sense it. She smiles at the little creature--it looks very fond of its person.]

Does your friend have a name?

I've given the name Mari, it means rebellious.

[He scritches underneath Zorua's chin who trilled in delight. Glances with a bit of a smirk.]

They are a bit playful you see, so it seems fitting.

[Unlike all the other people in this world, Sasha keeps going back to visit the Mom Lady not because she feels some familiar connection to the weird woman, but because lunch and snacks are always free and practically overflowing in that house. Who is she to turn down free food? Someone who isn't hungry anymore. Scratch that. Someone who isn't hungry anymore who is carrying a Togepi under one arm and said Togepi isnt hungry anymore either.

So that's the vision of gloriousness that Allura might turn around and witness when Sasha notices not only that mop of white hair contrasting with the dark skintone and the pointy ears and calls out to Allura: one human young woman with a meat stick on one hand and a Togepi messily shoving a Poffin into his mouth in the other.]

Allura? Is that you?

[She hopes it is. They never really got to be friends like they promised each other, but Sasha knows how important Allura is to Shiro and the rest of the house. Her return should be good for them, right?]

[Oh huh, another trainer and another Pokemon, a round and honestly rather cute one.]

Ah... yes, that's me. May I help you?

[Hopefuully this isn't another situation like the "mother"...]

[There's a lot of nodding. More enthusiastic jabbering. It's... clearly happy. So there's that.]

[Apparently, all of this Marowak noise is enough to summon someone who speaks human. There are footsteps. Sandals on wood floor. And metal fingers drop into frame, resting on Marowak's head.]

... what's got you so excited, Yellow?

Wait, Shiro? Shiro, is that you?

[Hallelujah, a familiar voice, she's not stranded on this strange planet alone!]

[Well, of course it's not. Sasha is far too young to be anybody's mother.

She frowns at Allura's response. Sasha's been through people leaving and coming back (only to leave again, sigh) enough times to realize that when they go the polite to strangers route, that means they have no memory of this place. Great. She is sure Shiro is going to love that.]

You don't remember me. [It's less of a question and more of a statement, obvious by the lack of a upward tilt on the last words. She sighs deeply, clearly disappointed by this as she puts Omelette the Togepi down on the ground. He whines a bit, being the spoiled baby he is, but goes right back to munching in seconds.] You were here before and we knew each other. But you don't remember that, I know. That happens sometimes. A lot.

... Oh. [Her confusion doesn't fade, but the remorse mingling into it is very real.] I... I'm sorry, I honestly don't. I'm sure I would recognize you if I could.

[Meanwhile, the white Vulpix newly dubbed Coressa takes a few steps towards the baby and takes a few gentle sniffs. Friend?]

[It's a good thing Marowak is still holding the 'gear, because Shiro's whole body goes cold. He has to mentally check what day of the week this is. It can't be one of Those Weekends, can it? Then ... ]

[Marowak promptly shoves the 'gear in its trainer's face. He's wearing one of his infamous hideous Alolan shirts, the fluff of hair dangling in his eyes still a rainbow of color (one for each Lion, thanks). And he looks like he's gotten hit over the head with a brick.]

... Allura?

Yes it's me, I-- [She makes a sound that's not QUITE a choked laugh when he comes into view, just... a surprised noise!] I... w-where are you? When did you get here? Are you all right?

[He seems fine, but... he absolutely wasn't wearing THAT when she last saw him.]

It's okay. It's not the first time that's happened.

[Surely won't be the last with Sasha's luck. She just knew she should have stayed away from getting familiar with Allura the last time around, if only for Shiro's sake, but she's really really bad at keeping those walls up. No need to a Titan to kick them in when she crumbles so easy on her own.]

I'm Mr. Shiro's fri- I live in Mr. Shiro's house. [No matter how much of a father he's become to her over the years, he will always be Mr. Shiro. Never Shiro, Shirogane, or worse yet, Takashi.] My name is Sasha.

[On the ground, Omelette furrows his brow at the Vulpix coming towards him, as if she threatens his snacktime, but the calm sniffs has him relaxing immediately. Friend? Friend. Thus, he breaks off a piece of Poffin and holds it out to her with a happy trill as a peace offering. Hungry?]

["Keo~!" Don't mind if she does, new friend! She takes the Poffin piece gently from the tiny proto-wings before chewing on it.

Meanwhile, Allura's own expression softens into a smile.]

Well, then, it's nice to meet you again, Sasha. I'm glad that Shiro's been able to make friends--

Wait... did you say he has a house here?
