Princess Allura | Voltron: Legendary Defender
Network, Video
[Well... waking up in the strange house alone had been unnerving, to say the least, especially with the woman blithely claiming to be Allura's mother... Too many fresh wounds involving her own parents, or too-cheery simulacra of parents... But at least this almost-mother wasn't trying to make her stay, or drive a spaceship into a supernova. In fact, it was almost a relief to be shoved out the door.
At the very least she should check this network, see how much of this is a dream or illusion, how much a hostage situation. She means to start composing a text message (at least she can make out the keyboard, thank goodness for the PokeGear's translator function), when a tiny white nose presses a different button, and the first thing people might see is an intense close-up of a white Vulpix face before humanoid hands start to pull the body away from the camera.]
Ah ah ah, little one, that isn't--
[The gentle but firm correction freezes when oh. ... The little blinking is on... complete with a camera preview...]
... Ahem! [This is fine, she can salvage this, she's not nervous you're nervous!] Greetings. I am Allura, Paladin of the Blue Lion. [She thinks half a tik later that maybe she should have kept that under wraps in case this whole situation had something to do with the Galra, but... it seems peaceful here. Besides, after the string of Coalition shows, it'd be hard to keep her identity a secret.] I seem to have found myself on this planet rather unexpectedly. The... gracious woman in the house I found myself in... was able to provide some instructions and supplies, but any further assistance- especially in terms of the sociology and technology levels of this planet- would be much appreciated.
Action, Cherrygrove City
[Of course, sleeping outside on cold, hard ground for three nights straight with only a nylon bag and Coressa's fluff for comfort was draining on her. Even with everything she's lost, at least in the Castle of Lions she still has the luxury of sleeping in her own bed, with perfectly comfortable bedding and a mountain of pillows... and she's missed having the mice to sleep on the pillow next to her, even with Coressa's company. So you might find a tall young woman with bags under her eyes and a very, very messy mop of moon white curls looking at the entrance spa with envy.]
No, no, no... I have no idea how long it will be before I find a way home, I need to manage my resources wisely. ... Even if it has been ten thousand years since I've had a proper massage...
[And that crick in her neck could definitely use one... Still, she's suffered worse, she can endure this much.]
[ video ]
You don't remember being here before, do you?

[Oh so the communication is instant-- ... Oh... Allura's eyes widen, as if she's seen... well, she is seeing a ghost...]
I... no. No, I... forgive me, but... are you an Altean...?
no subject
I, well... [She nodded.] Yes. I am. It's a long story. Perhaps we should try to meet in person? I can come to you. [She'd been over most of Johto, so she was able to use Fly to return back to wherever Allura might be.]

[Wow Jane you sure are nonplussed about the situation.]
Really, the roughest bit of the experience is those first days on the road from where you are to Cherrygrove City, but you should be fine beyond that. If you're already familiar with something like the 'gear, the rest of the technology should be pretty straightforward or at least sensible, and...I suppose the "sociology" is much like it is anywhere else?
[The trouble with only getting so far in one's high school education is not knowing how to answer a question like that, no matter how clever you are.]
no subject
[That and Jane's particular education and raising being... a bit messed up, to put it mildly.]
Ah... well that does help a bit. [Knowing that she wasn't the particular target of that delusion. As for the rest.] It isn't a lack of understanding, but more... to put it bluntly, is this planet capable of space travel?
[Because she can't feel her connection to Blue, and honestly, she needs to leave. Sure, the Voltron Coalition is currently winning the war, in great leaps and bounds, but that's not going to stay the case if Voltron is missing a paladin. ... Again.]

Cherrygrove
The small open grassy area they were in was definitely a good place for easy playful training, and that's what the two of them were doing at the moment.
But, even if that was definitely Keith getting that Litten to train with him, he looked... older. A bit taller, a bit more filled out, his hair was even somewhat longer. Oh, and there was the matter of a large scar across the right side of his face...]
no subject
[Honestly, she can't remember hearing Keith laugh like that since Arus-- wait, Keith?
That snaps her out of her grogginess in an instant. The last she heard from him was him... well... preparing to ram into the witch's shield in order to save them. And then immediately after the battle, they had to work out restraining Lotor and he had just... faded back into the ranks of the Blade of Marmora. And he hadn't had that scar during the briefing, had he?
She runs over to him quickly, the little white Vulpix bounding after her and wondering what on Earth could get her trainer's attention so quickly.]
Keith?
no subject
Allura. [Gently, he moved the Litten aside so he could stand and greet her. Yup, definitely an inch or two taller here.] It's good to see you. When'd you get here?

A paladin, you must lead a noble life from where you reside. I have a similar sort of background myself.
Where are you from exactly?
no subject
[Oh... goody, this man is certainly giving off "Lotor trying to be smarmy" vibes. Quite obviously too.]
I'll take your word for it... [Her voice dropping from warm and civil to cool and sarcastic.] You probably haven't heard of it. I don't believe you've introduced yourself yet, sir.
no subject
I am Loki, a fellow drop in to this planet with strong will, I assure you. And you Allura, what wistful name indeed.
But you're probably right, if you don't know who I am, then chances are I wouldn't have heard of where you're from either.

[Which probably makes zero sense to anyone who isn't a pokemon, but hey. At least the little guy is delighted to see her?]
no subject
[Oh no... sorry, Marowak, if she had ANY memory of her being here before, trust me, she'd be fawning like crazy. As it is...]
Ah... hello? Are you a Pokemon as well?
[Look, being an alien princess taught her you can never judge a species' sapience or ability to communicate by looks alone.]
no subject
[Apparently, all of this Marowak noise is enough to summon someone who speaks human. There are footsteps. Sandals on wood floor. And metal fingers drop into frame, resting on Marowak's head.]
... what's got you so excited, Yellow?

[ Yuzu lets out a sigh. Someone in the same boat that she had been in before, huh? Seriously, what is up with that mom lady? ]
Yeah, she does that for all of us. Can't say it's the best.
[ She said something about being a Paladin? Of a blue lion? A bunch of words that, when combined, still mean nothing to Yuzu. She'll just... brush that aside for now, then. ]
Well... welcome! I'm sure you've got plenty of questions, and I hope I can answer some of them, but for now... what you should be doing is heading along Route 1 until you get to Cherrygrove City. It's a bit rough at first, but after that, you get used to traveling pretty quickly... at least, it did for me.
no subject
[Yyyyeah, she was trying to avoid the "m" word...]
As I said, the lady is very gracious...
[Aaaand moving on.]
Right, at least the road is straightforward. [And she has some survival training since Altea is Space Australia. She'll get used to it... even if she'll be cranky and not look Princess Gorgeous.] Still, I could use more information on this world's culture... and whether there's any interstellar travel available.
[Nice as this place is, she needs to leave quickly, and she wants to make sure she doesn't get thrown in jail for accidentally insulting someone before she can.]
no subject
Interstellar...? [ Ehhhh...? Just where is this person from... the only spaceships she's really seen are the Machine-type Monsters back home. ] A-Aah, probably not, I don't think this place is at that level...

Action
[Hi Allura, the voice you just heard is coming from...quite the tall young man standing in your vicinity, who lifts a hand with a slight wave when he sees her look his way. There's a little brown rabbit perched on his shoulder, her nose twitching curiously as she looks her over.]
Getting money here isn't terribly difficult, but...I wouldn't mind helping you pay if you need.
no subject
[Thankfully, Allura's fairly tall herself at about 5'8", and used to beings about Legosi's height and MUCH taller, so nothing about his height startles her. Really, she's more embarrassed at being caught talking to herself, and about something so petty.]
Ah... that's very kind of you, but really, there's no need. I was merely looking.
[The white Vulpix in her arms blinks at the lanky boi... back to Trainer... then gives lanky boi a blunt "keoke-o." Yes, please, fix my mess of a trainer, other trainer.]
no subject
Are you sure? I don't want to press, but...I know how it gets when you've been traveling with not much chance for a break. Especially if you are new.
(no subject)
no subject
So that's the vision of gloriousness that Allura might turn around and witness when Sasha notices not only that mop of white hair contrasting with the dark skintone and the pointy ears and calls out to Allura: one human young woman with a meat stick on one hand and a Togepi messily shoving a Poffin into his mouth in the other.]
Allura? Is that you?
[She hopes it is. They never really got to be friends like they promised each other, but Sasha knows how important Allura is to Shiro and the rest of the house. Her return should be good for them, right?]
no subject
[Oh huh, another trainer and another Pokemon, a round and honestly rather cute one.]
Ah... yes, that's me. May I help you?
[Hopefuully this isn't another situation like the "mother"...]
no subject
She frowns at Allura's response. Sasha's been through people leaving and coming back (only to leave again, sigh) enough times to realize that when they go the polite to strangers route, that means they have no memory of this place. Great. She is sure Shiro is going to love that.]
You don't remember me. [It's less of a question and more of a statement, obvious by the lack of a upward tilt on the last words. She sighs deeply, clearly disappointed by this as she puts Omelette the Togepi down on the ground. He whines a bit, being the spoiled baby he is, but goes right back to munching in seconds.] You were here before and we knew each other. But you don't remember that, I know. That happens sometimes. A lot.
