Varian looked up at Radley with a start, eyes wide. "You'd heard of this place before? Huh... Interesting."

Coming from a small kingdom in the later part of the 1700s, Varian hasn't heard about the United States, much less the Pokemon world. "I'm from the kingdom of Corona, although I grew up in a nearby village." He shrugged. "I mean, Old Corona was still part of that kingdom."

"Yeah, it's like a kids' story where I'm from," Radley said. "They have games and books and shows about it."

He nodded slowly in response to Varian's explanation. "Ah, cool. Well ... what's this place?" He looked up at the tower. "I haven't been there yet."

Varian glanced behind him, then looked back to Radley. "Oh, that's Sprout Tower. The monks are in charge of upkeep, and I... Well, I don't know why it sways like that. I mean, the natives claim the whole structure is built around a giant Bellsprout, but obviously--" He scoffed with a smirk. "--that's impossible. I mean, if a Pokemon - a plant Pokemon that needs sunlight to live, at that! - was incased in the central beam of that building... Well, let's face it, it would've died pretty quickly. So, you know, it probably wouldn't be moving much by now."

"Wow, that is pretty out there," Radley said. "I wonder how a legend like that started."

"From Violet City it's... about a week, I guess?"

He made it in less time before, but he was definitely rushing.

"From here to Violet City, um..." A pause while he thinks about it. "Less than a day, probably."

Shrike's pretty sure he didn't travel that far down the route, but it's been known to happen. He's good at covering ground when he wants to be.

[Thace is wearing a very knowing smile at the actions. He knows exactly how it feels.]

Then it will be done. Would you and your partner like to come to Goldenrod right away? The apartment just upstairs is vacant right now. It's one of the larger cities, and has been a good base to arrange travel and other things out of. There's even quick travel to the other region from here. I can warp out to Cherrygrove in a matter of minutes and fly with Zirthe to where you are in a few hours after that.

We could even take the longer route back so you can pick up the warps for both Violet and Azalea on the way to Goldenrod.

Though if you prefer to walk the routes and camp out, well, I certainly enjoyed that experience when I first arrived, but I also know that some people--

[His voice goes so warm and fondly exasperated and playful at that that there must be a very specific 'some people' he's referring to.]

--greatly dislike the cold and foot travel.

Radley sighed. "A week.... Well, maybe I'll stick around Violet City a while, if it's got enough to suit me. How big is it?"

What kind of training? Are you a fighter?

[ Even though it's largely become clear to Rainer by now that most worlds don't use the same sort of classification of skills as hers, it's still what she defaults to. ]

1. Cherrygrove City

[Being on the road for days at a time wasn't exactly a new concept for Rhea, who occasionally trusted her own two feet more than any kind of transportation. As a matter of fact, being on the road for days at a time in an unfamiliar place with a curious companion at her side wasn't even that new for her, though at least her previous curious companion could talk. All the same, she was relieved that her travels rewarded her with a new city to settle in for a time until she was ready to explore once more.

The first thing she did was give a biiiiig stretch and yawn and plop herself down under a tree, relishing the feeling of the grass. Curiously, her Scorbunny buddy mimicked her gestures and did the same.]

I know, it's nice, isn't it, little guy? Actual, honest-to-goodness civilization! Seems like a nice place to take a break before we go on to... wherever's next.

2. Network | Video | Ecruteak City

[Rhea is broadcasting from Ecruteak's Kimono Dance Theater, or more specifically, one of its dressing rooms. Her Scorbunny appears to be picking through a clothing rack behind her with a surprising amount of care. As for Rhea herself, she has donned a blue and yellow floral-patterned kimono and is handling and inspecting the fabric as she talks.]

Obviously, not all clothes in this place are like this, but is there anywhere else in Johto or Kanto where they have such unique designs and craftsmanship? I'd really like to see more, or maybe even contribute some work myself...

3. Wildcard

((Your choice! Apologies if I botch typical formatting and whatnot, I'm... very rusty.))

[Rhea is hardly one to pass by a pretty lady on the beach, particularly a charming one with such a charming Pokemon. Trying to play it cool by taking her shoes off a distance away before approaching, she trots up with her Scorbunny close behind.]

Your critter sure likes your hair... you must take good care of it, huh? [A little nervous freeze-frame here as Rhea feels she's botched some etiquette.] Anyway, hi, you can call me Rhea.

[He considered that for a moment. He really didn't mind camping out so much. Not that he had much experience with it anymore having lived in space for too many years, first on a Galra ship and then the Thaldycon base.

Oddly though, he was thinking more about Poochyena. Would she prefer to have a physical location to go back to at some point? Was hard to tell]

I suppose having a place to serve as a central location would not be a bad idea. If we chose to go out from there and camp then that is still an option.

I was. I was trained in physical combat. Agility was something that I was good at so I am unsure how this change will effect that.

[Not going to mention it was for a rebel group that was trying to take down the Empire. Not something that anyone really needed to know]

It's... this place. It pulls people in from all timelines. All moments in time.

[But it would be very, very nice if Arceus or whoever would give people a warning before it went and pulled these kinds of stunts.]

I can't explain it better than that. I wish I could.

That is pretty cool. I haven't been here long enough to know where you can buy stuff like that. Maybe if there's a fair or festival somewhere? From what I've been learning, these people like to party. Sometimes they even have festivals honoring specific Pokemon.

They like to battle, it's how they get stronger. I know, it sounds terrible to make animals fight, but the weird thing is they like it.

[That was something he had to wrap his head around when he arrived, not wanting to hurt his little Shinx, but he's gotten used to this as the new normal.]

But these berries heal them. So do medicines made for them and the Pokémon centers in each city.

Does it? That is very strange. I have not even considered that such a thing was possible, especially in the situation that I was in.

It is fine. I suppose it is enough information.

I have spoken with a few others that I recognized, yes.

Sassy eh? Wonder who she takes that from.

[Camilla gets to pet the small horse and smiles brightly when her own flower baby goes close to it. They both giggle at the treatment she gives her owner.]

A few months?

[Well that's not good! How could he be so long without his amazing big sister?]

Have you been eating well?

[She looks him over, worried.]

"Why yes, I am; is it that obvious?"

Camilla giggles, as her Flabébé goes up to greet the stranger.

"I'm Camilla, who might you be?"

They must be powerful in some way.

[Camilla watches the interaction, covering her mouth with a hand to avoid laughing when the dog-like creature doesn't move.]

That sounds like a cute name for such a cute looking creature, I hope she comes to like one you pick though.

[She looks at her own Flabébé and hums.]

Do you think she'd like a name?

Magic not your thing, I'm assuming?

[Camilla turns to look at the person speaking, before being hit by her own hair and a small giggle coming from her Flabébé.]

I sure do!

[She fixes her hair before smiling at Rhea.]

I'm Camilla, it's a pleasure to meet you.

[She extends her hand for Rhea to take, and looks at the cute bunny with her.]

That's such a cute critter!

Oh really?

[Are all these animals masochists?]

How do you know they're stronger though?

"I've been seeing a lot of them lately," Radley muses. "I'm one myself. I'm Radley."

Eevee happily greets the Flabebe.

Grimmjow let out a low growl, watching the pokemon as they made friends with each other. "So, what, this some kinda hougyouku bullshit? I thought you killed Aizen," he kicked a pebble in Ichigo's direction with a scowl.

Cubone reached up, pressing its little paw to Vulpix's. "Cubone!" it said brightly, and dug its berry out of the pile of strings, holding it up for Vox to see, or maybe share.

"I have no clue. Back in our world, this place is a fictional world in a game series that was popular years back. And I didn't kill Aizen." Ichigo scowled, crossing his arms and looking away. "I tried. Burned out some of my own soul to do it, but even I couldn't do it."

Vox sniffed at the berry curiously before taking a cautious nibble. The taste had her tails wiggling happily.
