Radley was walking by with his Eevee and paused to watch. This looked like another displaced person.

"Hi," he greeted. "Are you new here too?"

"Why yes, I am; is it that obvious?"

Camilla giggles, as her Flabébé goes up to greet the stranger.

"I'm Camilla, who might you be?"

[crystalmaster]

"I've been seeing a lot of them lately," Radley muses. "I'm one myself. I'm Radley."

Eevee happily greets the Flabebe.

"Camilla; nice to meet you Radley," She smiles, and extends her hand for a handshake, while Flabébé floats happily around the cute little Eevee.

Radley smiles too and shakes her hand. "So, are you heading anywhere specific or just trying to figure things out, like I am?" He hesitates. "I know some things about this place, but not a lot. I've never seen a lot of these guys before." He looks to the Flabebe. He's only familiar with the earliest games and elements of the franchise. The Johto region and its Pokemon are completely new to him.

Eevee happily jumps up on two legs, wanting to play.

"I have no idea where anything is, so I want to explore!" She smiles, "It's not every day when I'm in a place without war."

Flabébé is happily playing with Eevee, she loves being chased!

"It is pretty nice and peaceful here," Radley muses. He, too, has come from a place recently at war, albeit not the traditional kind. He's not sure whether asking about her world would be a tactful approach, if it's at war. Maybe he'll try to ask if she has anyone at home in a round-about way. "I'm worried about my friends back home. I know they're worried about me ... unless it's one of those time-travel things where eventually I'll go back at the same point I left. I kinda hope that's the case; it makes it easier to bear, thinking of it like that. I hate the thought of leaving Eevee too, though. I don't suppose I'd be allowed to take her with me."

Eevee is delighted to just romp for a while. She doesn't want to think about Radley leaving.

Camilla listens carefully, nodding along to Radley's words, "I was with my siblings just yesterday and now here I am, but it would be such a sad thing to leave these cute creatures behind," she looks at the Flabébé and Eevee and sighs.

"Why is it so complicated, to travel between worlds?"

[crystalmaster]

"It sure would," Radley sighs. "There should definitely be an easy way to do it. I have people back home who depend on me, but now Eevee depends on me too. I can't abandon her."
