[Aymeric looks visibly relieved at having narrowly avoided a battle. It likely wouldn't have ended well for him, standing in the middle as he is.]

It certainly does not respond to commands such as "Down" or "Out of my hair." Still, I have only just met it. Perhaps I yet need time to understand it. [He straightens back up to his full height, though only briefly. Just as quickly, he bends at the waist, offering a short bow by way of greeting.] My apologies for the trouble, of course.

It is somewhat imposing, yes. [Jarlaxle thinks longingly of his statuette of the 'night mare' and its easy transformation into a magical mount.]

Do you plan to catch other creatures as this 'guidebook' claims we are meant to?

Kiri's Express Wings! Fly you or your items where you need to go fast! 700 P per hour flying you! 400 P per hour for items!

[She turns her gear to show off some of the very many birds she has. The Corviknights could probably fly several people places at once even, given how big they are.]

[Ordinarily Radley would find such an explanation laughable at best, but he's discovered that people have been coming from other planets too. This isn't as hard for him to grasp as the fact that he's here himself.]

I don't know if you've heard of it. It looks a lot like here, but Earth has different animals.

Ah- [Aymeric's eyes visibly widen as G'rhyf's face appears on his screen. There's a moment of doubt, self-consciousness rising up, before it is replaced by an outright grin. Any amount of shame Aymeric might feel at being caught unawares by the Warrior of Light paled in comparison to the joy of being in their presence.]

Would that I had known I was in good company. It might have kept me from putting on such an embarrassing display. [He pauses, just for a moment.] It is good to see you, old friend.

Oh, my dear girl--Kiri, is that your name? That is truly an astonishing number of birds you have caught! I do not think I can yet afford to rent from you, but I am very much impressed.

Truthfully, I have yet to be able to check into any of the materials I have been provided. It does sound strange, however, the idea of ripping these creatures from their natural environs.

I am from Toril myself. It also looks much like this realm, but with different creatures and no ever-present bardsong.

Mm. Perhaps. [But on the other hand, he really wants to beat these gyms and gain their prizes and for that he needs more pokemon.]

Grimmjow nodded firmly, letting out a soft sigh. "Watch out for the damn worms. They'll spit sticky crap all over you," he warned. "I was tryin' to get this little thing to fight 'em but he just cried."

[Jarlaxle watches attentively. It costs very little effort from him to give the child his attention, after all, and it is good to make friends in a strange realm.]

Amazing! All these eggs are from birds that you have caught?

If I can find any that are well suited for me.

Training these creatures to battle by command should prove an interesting enough diversion. [ Battling by proxies is nothing new, but doing it without mental domination is another thing entirely.

He doesn't have the love of trinkets that Jarlaxle does, but if he needs a partner to fight against or beside, Kimmuriel is content to step into that role. ]

Cool. I haven't heard of it. And yeah, this music ... that's just weird.

[He really hopes the explanation is not that he's stuck in a video game. Maybe it's just a dimension where music always plays.]

Network

[ ...honestly, the existence of drow, or former drow, is one of the few comforting things about searching on the network. Klaus was honestly starting to get weirded out by how everyone was apparently a human here.

Obviously, he's not green or tusky when his face shows up on the network. But he's still a large man with a strong jaw and just the slightest underbite, so I guess some things never change. His matcha green skin has been replaced with a sort of tan hue, and he's got a lil smidge of eyeliner under his grayish eyes. ]

I'm not entirely sure if there's anyone else from the Understate here, uh, if that's even your world.

I am sure there must be. This 'pokedex' I have found within my device seems to indicate that there are any number of creatures like these. At least three hundred, it seems, for my own is labeled as number three-hundred-and-two.

We call it the Underdark in my native plane, [Jarlaxle replies.] So it may not be the same one as yours. Still, it is good that you seem to know of my kind.

Most! Riding Pokemon too. And cats.

[She starts walking around, and there's a Mantine doing graceful skims of the surface of a decorative garden pond, and a bunch of horselike Pokemon enjoying some hay together. And yes, several different types of cat. Cats and horses lay eggs here. Go with it.]

Honestly, I was just hoping you would know some people I was familiar with, but ah, I guess not!

[ He's always a shy big ol green bean like this, don't mind him. There's a creature next to him that begins staring into the screen as well, or at least it appears to be a creature? It looks like a shitty little sand castle. ]

It's just really jarring here, there's all these humans and then suddenly I'm not myself and...well, you understand.

"It's probably one of the only things they know how to do. I mean, Vox only knows two attacks because she's so little and at a low level." That was the problem with low level pokemon, but Ichigo knew they could get stronger.

Grimmjow hummed thoughtfully. "So, like... he needs t'learn to do a cero or somethin'?" he asked, looking down at his little Pokemon.
