Hatch Mudbray. Gets big Mudsdale! Hatch fairy Ponyta, gets Galarian Rapidash! Hatch fire Ponyta, gets Kantonian Rapidash! Hatch Blitzle, gets Zebstrika! Hatch Deerling, gets Sawsbuck! Hatch Skiddo, gets Gogoat. Stantler maybe small, but strong deer! Houndoom maybe small too? But I can ride!

[The last is a horned skelly-dog about medium pony-sized, so maybe on the fringe of being truly ridable for the average adult human.]

For water riding, Mantine is best. Hatch Mantyke! With Remoraid help, gets Mantine!

[Look, Mantine can literally fly out of the water for brief periods. It's as close to a bird as a true water-mon can be. She's biased.]

Birds... Corviknight biggest. Talonflame fastest. Fearow big distance! Hawlucha carries heavy! Pidgeot all-rounder. Braviary good too, but gets big slow.

[The camera stops at each kind of bird, and considering that she hatches a bunch to check for shinies, most of the birds have examples of their first evolution wandering around near the adults. New-hatched birds are very small, and often don't resemble their final forms particularly closely for some reason?]

Cordy ducks out of the way of the Inkay, but it instead hits her bag, knocking out a few snacks that she bought for herself and her Sinistea.

The snacks come flying out and it's Kimmuriel-mun's choice as to whether that Inkay makes a move for them or not, but Cordy starts trying to stuff them back in her bag while shooting a dark look at the Inkay. ]

Whooooa there floaty boy, watch where you're shooting your mind-flayer baby-looking ass.

(It seems positively delighted to be held, though, so this is less of a punishment and more of a reward, it seems.) ]

It hardly has the capabilities of an illithid, even a newly implanted one. [ His voice is dry. ] Some talent for hypnosis, but no more.

[ It's more than he was left with in terms of psionic power, which irks him, but whatever. He'll make do. ]
