Ilphyl is getting a sense of how Jarlaxle names things and feeling better about their habit of 'Common words for plants' as names. "Of course. Freelance assassins are generally not something most leaders of cities want in the open." Because they are more than likely to be targeted or be the ones hiring. Granted, assassins working for leaders are often a different matter.

This is why Ilphyl considers the decision of 'I'm just going to live in the wilderness and take my chances with hungry beasts' a surprisingly sensible option that too few people consider.

Sounds like it has been quite difficult, first with Prince Lotor, and then the witch. I do not envy anyone having to fight against her. She does not truly care about most things unless it benefits her. I hope that you are successful in retrieving them from her.

That is good. I’m sure that most things are able to adapt. [Including himself]

That is true. Not many all-powerful beings would want everyone to know about them. Might cause them many issues in the future if they did. So it will have to be something that I'm not entirely sure of.

For now, though, we're here, and we should enjoy any respite we can have.

Yes, I agree. It has been so long since I have been on a planet and not another ship in space.

It's true. The Pokémon do certainly make good companions. I've started to enjoy traveling around this world with them.

I still only have her, but I feel that I would enjoy having more as well.

I wasn't sure about a lot of this place at first, but I do enjoy having the companionship these creatures offer.

Yes, I think that is the thing which will help the most. That and being able to spend sometime on a planet again.

Do you prefer being on a planet over being in outerspace?

It has been so long since I had the chance to be on a planet that it is certainly novel to me. It is a good change of pace.

That seems to be the case so far! I have not yet heard of anyone finding themself truly unable to adjust to their new circumstances... though, I must assume it has happened.

It can certainly be a risk. Those whose goals conflict with those of such a being may go so far as to seek their destruction - at least if they have the means to. [Yeah so there. May or may not be a reason he knows so much about this!!]

I have seen many who are able to adjust to unusual circumstances so I'm sure that I will be able to as well.

I suppose that can be one of the issue. Of course it could also be the same with rulers and just omnipotent beings.
