New Bark Town

[If one asked Caesar, a whirlwind would be putting it lightly. He's quiet as he joins Lorenz at the docks, and though he's quiet, his footsteps... probably aren't.]

[Lorenz glances up, only half aware of the man's presence at first.]

It is lovely...

[There's something wistful in his voice before he turns to actual face the blond, offering a polite, if weak, smile.]

I have spent a great deal of time in a coastal city. This is... rather familiar. Something of a comfort really.

[Caesar returns the smile, though his own is... maybe a bit wobbly. But hopefully Lorenz won't bring that up.]

As have I. I don't think I'd ever get tired of these sorts of views.

I must say this is a fair bit more... ah, rustic than my usual, but still it is a breathtaking view.

[So clear a view across the water is uncommon but the Council Room in the city is elevated to be able to see all the way out beyond the docks. Absolutely magnificent.]

Derdriu sits on the shore but the city itself has expanded out over the water just as much as it has on land. There are entire districts that float upon the calm waters of the bay.
