Seeing that there's a strange adult commanding the ghost, though? That prompts Gregory to quickly get to his feet and take a few more steps away, ignoring the snow clinging to his clothing as his Teddiursa peeks around his head nervously.]
Hey, what gives!? You scared me!
no subject
SURE DID! Boy it's hard high-fiving someone without any hands.
[Finally, he rounds on Gregory and beams at him with a crooked yellow grin. He puffs out a foggy breath.]
That's the idea, squirt. It's what I do.

[Scaring him, chasing him, trying to get him. What's next?
He huffs, dusting the snow off his clothes as he shoots that Gastly a look for its efforts. Might be kindof a weird reaction, though. It's not like most children immediately distrust strangers to THIS degree, and Gregory's never even really been told not to trust strangers.]

You ever considered scarin' 'em back, kid?
no subject
That's easy for you to say. I'm just a kid, I'm not scary.
no subject
[Hmm.]
You can't be serious, kid! Children are creepy as hell!
[He closes the gap between them at an easy stroll and invites himself to sling an arm around Gregory's shoulders. He smells awful.]
Haven't you ever seen a scary movie where a little drowned girl crawls out of televisions and twists peoples heads around backwards? It wouldn't be nearly as scary if it was some middle aged Debbie from accounting!
no subject
Gregory puts up with it, but barely. He doesn't even try to hide his disgust as he recoils a bit into himself, but hey, at least he's honest?]
Maybe...but I've seen way scarier than that.
[He lifts his hands, miming claws with them as he grits his teeth for emphasis.]
I'm talking giant, hulking robots that chase you and try to bite your head, or stuff you into an empty suit that crushes you all up inside!
no subject
[He considers the robots for a moment. He hasn't seen that movie. Sounds hilarious!]
no subject
[He still looks UNSURE...but alright. Fine. He's listening, old man.]
So what am I s'posed to do, then?
