[The blankest of blank stares. She even glanced back at the Bisharp, watching it hiss and shrug. Nope, he's just getting the double stare again.]

A...Robot? [She mumbled for a moment, sounding it out. Hm.]

...They rob people?

No...you don't know what a robot is?

[Gregory sighs.]

They're like...big metal husks that can walk and talk like people, but they're not people. And the ones I'm talking about do look like animals...at least their outsides do. They're a bear, wolf, chicken, and alligator. The only one that can be trusted is the bear, though.

[He's sighing, but Mikasa still just sat there. Confused and not fully getting it. What was an alligator?]

Like the knights from the old myths. [The people who thought before there were titans around. Such a weird idea. But... None of those animals seemed trustworthy. She'd helped raise chickens, they would eat their own eggs. And even then...]

A chicken seems like the easiest to deal with.

Yeah! Sneaking up on her isn't too hard. You just gotta catch her when she's eating garbage and not paying attention to you.

[Nodnod. Though Mikasa was thinking...more about knives in backs. But also...]

Garbage..? [Look, Mikasa wasn't a fussy eater. Her family had been too poor for that to be allowed. When she thought of bad food, she thought of moldy and rotting. Who'd eat that to the point of being distracted? Ew]

Yeah. I don't think she's, like...programmed to do that? So it must be like, a bug or something.

[At some point Gregory is going to realize that words like "programmed" aren't going to make sense to her, and saying that Chica has a "bug" is going to be taken literally.]

I heard worms make people hungry all the time. [Ah yes, by bug, he meant she had parasitic worms. Though Mikasa didn't know much more than that, she just knew it didn't sound pleasant. ]

[It's then that Gregory realizes something is getting lost in translation here, but he's also like. 10. Does he care to figure out what, or does he know how to explain the intricacies of the inner workings of robots and stuff?

I will. I have my pokemon too, they're pretty tough. [The Bisharp gave a small rasping noise, tilting her head back to look down at the camera. Then extending those arm knives, she was ready to murder for Boss. Yes.]

[Ah...the sight of that Bisharp causes Gregory to recoil a little, because wow that sure is a very...metallic creature she has with her, isn't it?]

W-what...is that, by the way...? A Pokemon, you said?

[She was sharp, what with her blade ribs and axe head. Mikasa just gave a little nod.]

She's a Bisharp, she was a lot smaller before. I've had her since I got here... [She peered, looking into the camera.] What did you get?
