[Gregory grins, probably the first genuine smile he's shown Freddy since he woke up in that strange lady's house. Things have looked up since then at least, so long as he's not expected to ever go back there.]

I'm might be just a kid, but I do know some stuff.

[You don't have to go to school to be smart, and he's smart in the way it matters most. Street smarts.]

And it doesn't look like there are any cars around, so we're probably okay just walking on the road like this. Just keep an eye out.

Right now, you probably know more about the world than I do.

[ Which is probably true. He knows enough to function in the Pizzaplex, but Gregory actually lived out in the world. Even if this place was somewhat different than where they came from, Gregory's knowledge would probably be more useful than his own.

But he would find a way to be useful to Gregory as well. Somehow. ]
